Be Quiet And Drive

- I've recently watched the masterpiece that is "All About Lily Chou-Chou". This movie really resonated with me and got me an idea to use some of the footage I took in Japan for an early 2000s kinda video vibe.
I stole the song from @noirbebop, his video is also what introduced me to the movie so it's only right for me to link his video here: • be quiet and drive.
Shot on iPhone 14 Pro
Edited in Premiere Pro
Music Used: deftones - be quiet and drive (sped up) - Розваги
great video man :) i'm so happy to see i inspired you to make this awesome video. can't wait for more if you do make more
You like Linkin Park? and Korn?
And you like nu metal fashion? and hip hop fashion?
This is way too cool for the internet
Let’s take it down! 😂
No, the other things are too lame
this deserves to be on patreon
If you only watch TikTok then yes it is
@@JohnMarston-sf1vkfr😂
This feels like an obscure movie but without the plot, I love it.
Fight club?
@@LilPGKingthat’s a famous movie tho
A pirated DVD you got for 2 dollars and watch on your DVD player at night not knowing what to expect.

Got me those early 2000s vibes
Geez I wonder why
Sometimes we forgot the classic vibes of the 90's grunge music genre and this is capture it so well!
This is nu metal no?
@@dagda9773 Yes, Deftones began as Nu Metal but evolved into experimental/alt metal. But they do have both grunge and hardcore influences from the mid 80s and the 90s.
but thats not grunge
@@ghostbravo7127 dude, deftones were never nu-metal they just got associated because they popped out the same time as korn, limp and slipknot. In the beginning they experimented even more inclusive playing ska.
Hell ueah Genre arguments lesgoooo
Deftones were and are a post-hardcore band and i will die on that hill.
oh my god dude, i went to japan in march for a school trip, and on the last day me and a couple friends sneaked out of our hotel rooms on the last night. we went to a karaoke room and this was one of the last songs i sang. one of my favorite memories and you captured the feeling perfectly. i miss japan every day and im glad you could experience as well
Sounds amazing but japan for a school trip?? Lol
cool story bro

@@azkzn13 LOL y'all can think that, but i still have the pics/vids and it was one of the best nights of my life. i fundraised for months and waited for 2 years because of covid. i hope i can go back some day :3
I love the fact that, the visuals is looks like around 2000-2005 (even tho it's not).
Plus, no sights of smartphones or futuristic gadjets makes it more perfect.
how is this not viral already?? its sooo good i love the aesthetic
Given the influx of comments, it seems like this blowing up is imminent
i dont think u know what ''viral'' means. a florida man shooting up a trans bar together with his pet aligator would go viral. this however is just a vibe vid.
@@Daminionzthats because it stirs drama, and people are attracted to drama
And I am no exception, though I try to stay away from it
Cause you guys just rebranded nightcore
@@why7189of course, This generation just reskins shit.
From Argentina, a fan of Deftones and Japan. This is incredible.
this really acheives the aesthetic of late 90s music video b-roll and i love it
i absolutely love the vibe! this is so cool! this is like something that came straight out of the 2000's.
Dude this is inspiring me to take dumb random videos I have of life and friends and put them altogether like this. This is art. Finding inspiration and joy in the mundane is what life is all about. Awesome video
This reminds me of the time I went there recently, one of the most surreal experiences of my life and this edit really captures that same feeling
this is art- a masterpiece
this gunna go viral
i went to japan and i gotta say it was prolly the best experience of my life. this video gives me so much nostalgia, and i love this song.
I watched All About Lily Chou-Chou a couple months ago with a friend. You captured the feeling just right man.
on what?
Im from a little and slow city, 2 days ago i came to much bigger city with fast lifestyle with metro, so many cars and railways. so this video is so good for this feeling when you slowly walking around busy peoples. and in this life sometimes we need just take a calm.
Love that night to day time lapse in the middle of it all
This is my favorite Bleach opening
Well actually this is from gintama
It made me feel like I was in the anime Lain, the randomness and aimlessness of the scenes... something you don't understand or some scenes of different people and traffic, just like the beginning of each episode... that's incredible
Really cool video, it imidiently reminded me to the edit noir made. Both are amazingly made, will be seeing you often now
this aesthetic has me nostalgic for a time before I was born shits crazy. I only saw glimpses of this kinda shit in early 2010's as a very young child
This is such a masterpiece I loved the 2000s vibes on this ❤
lily chou chou is always in my top 5 spot!
such a great visualizer, i really hope you keep pursuing photography. this is amazing!!
I watched 'All about lily chou chou' too.Depressing yet an underrated movie.More people should know it,as it's truly good.
what did you watch this on
This video got recommended and i'm not mad. Great music taste, also on your other videos. This video really blew up compared to your other videos. Thanks for introducing me to Deftones.
my favourite video so far. it fits the song very well
This needs more recognition
Work of art. Tremendous video. Outstanding work!
I look forward to the future cinematography if this is it right here good golly!!!!🙌🏾
This is great dude, you should do more of it. It really captures that nostalgic fell for japan. And i have never even been there.
This changed my life forever
THE VIBE from this is insane! reminds me of early 2000 when i was a kid and watch my brother play old gran turismo games on ps1 and 2🥲the insane wholesome memories that will never fade
Pure art
That is it. I have done enough grinding on the virtual world, it is time for me to grind in the real world. Someone reply to this comment so I can remind myself to keep grinding and look back at all the progress I have accumulated since this moment.
es bellisima la version! Mucho poder y sentimiento! que buen cover! y el video ihermoso, magico! Gran trabajo!
As someone who spent her childhood in Asia, you hit the nostalgic points perfectly :'D
Siempre me ha dado una sensación extraña, difícil de describir el solo de Be quiet and Drive, sin duda una gran canción.
This is marvelous...
Omg this video brings back early 2000s memories .. 😢 I miss the way they used to make videos back then noooooo 😭
Ese sentimiento de vacío que siempre siento cuando salgo de mi casa hay una atmosfera muy rara como si todo esto no fuera real o algo asi
This is so awesome, definitely goin on my inspo list
This is so nostalgic
i rarely like videos but i was abt to like this video n then i realized i had already liked it, prolly a few years ago 💗💗💗💗

What how is this not blown up
3 weeks ago & 22k views, Im proud ❤❤
it will grow up for sure
Thank you for this
This goes so hard
I feel so lucky that this was the essence of my teenage years.. minus the chainsmoking and other bad substances, it was pretty much a grungy grey green scale kind of life. Like a mix of roderick heffley and the japanese 90s grunge scene. Deftones.
I cry.
This is fucking dope. Definitely just had a nostalgia trip lol.

I clicked cuz it lolks like a cideo game and now im blessed with good music too?
what a beautiful beautiful collection of images, and how well put together they are! congrats. can you explain us how you achieved this look? it's the best VHS approximation I've seen
I used Dehancer Pro as a base and picked one of the camera presets, I think one of the Fujifilms, then went into Lumetri and messed around there, mainly boosted greens and increased contrast, then added some channel blur.
To be honest I actually partially followed a tutorial, I don’t remember which one tho.
Well that is a yes
Cool
fantastic job
