Everthing is perfect, guitar tech and tone on point.
rfisher 231 even nailed the best cosplay of Stephen Carpenter
🤣 best cosplay! That’s good! Thank you so much!!
Excellent performance, a guitar tone very similar to that of steph on that album.🤟🏽
Thank you!!
just learned this song cant get over the emotions brought forth by the opening chords
All the emotions in this song. 🤘🏻
This is the best cover of BQaD I’ve seen. Great job
Thank you so much!!
Another one I’ve been playing wrong my whole life.
I played the end wrong for most of my life until I started working on this video.
@@rfisher2314here do you learn all the songs?
Spot on. First cover that has the same power of the original.
Wow! Thanks a lot for the kind words. Much appreciated!!
You nailed it. Best cover I've seen of this on youtube!

Thanks! This is probably my favorite all time as well.

Thank you so very much!! That’s great to hear! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
i dont comment on things often but this shit was amazing bro
Very much appreciated!! Thank you!
Incredible
Thank you so much!!
Exquisite Tone💯🎯
Very much appreciated!! 🤘🏻
Seriously if i could be anyone i would want to be a member of deftones 🥲
Have you considered doing tutorials? These covers are amazing
I’ve considered it a lot actually. I just need to start doing them I guess.
Also, thank you very much!!
@@rfisher2314 please bro tutorials would be amazing
nice cover bro
Thank you!!
this is so sick dude, prob the best cover out there ! also what’s the strumming pattern ? i just can’t figure it out
Thank you so much!! 🤘🏻 the main trick to this strumming is gonna be hard to explain. During the pre-chorus and chorus always strum up right before you strum down again. Can’t really think of a good way to explain it but I really want to do a tutorial on this song soon.
Nice Job, this song omagad ! a true Wall of Distortion !
Thank you very much!!
cool bro
Thanks man!!
Whenever I come back to this I zone out
Fucking awesome dude
Thank you!!
sick
Thanks!!
Awesome!! What are you tone settings?? Been trying to dial down a good distortion tone
There’s always a lot of factors that come into a good tone but, for amp settings I usually put everything at noon and adjust to taste. Stef’s tones usually end up with me having bass at about 12-2 o’ clock, mids are usually dialed back around 9-11 o’ clock and highs around 12-3 o’ clock. Gain usually right in the middle or 2 as well. Pickups make a huge difference too.
hey, really good cover! Just wanted to ask, what settings or preset were you using on the fortin cali suite plugin? I really like your tone and i have the plugin
Thank you! One day I really need to do a video of how I get my tones. I haven’t used the Fortin plugin for quite awhile.
❤️🔥🖤❤️🔥
I had a question about the intro tone, ive got the rhythm tone for all of around the fur I just need help with the intro cause I cant seem to quite get it. Also amazing cover man 🔥
Thank you so much! I used just a slight amount of chorus from a Boss Ch-1 pedal and a good heavy tone on the plugin.
@@rfisher2314 appreciate it thank you 🙏
whats the strumming pattern for the main riff? and also the part where you bend the strings, sorry for all the questions, really want to learn this song ahaha
top
Thanks!!
Love it bro! What´s the tuning that you used? I have a 7string guitar but I can´t find the exactly tuning.
The tuning is Drop C#. Depending on your string gauges I would set it up Drop C# on the lower 6 strings and then just just tune the high E to D# as well. So from low to high the tuning would be C#, G#, C#, F#, A#, D#, D# on your 7 string.
Also thanks for enjoying the video! Hope that info helps you.
Do your fingers mute any of the strings?for the life of me I cant help but mute the D string (13th fret) and the B string, also the ones for the 17th 18th fret, I mute the B string (11th fret) and D for the main riff smh and the high E rings out weird for both riffs
So it’s 12th fret on the A string, 13th fret on the G string with the D string being muted. You can play the high E open and it will sound good. Then moves up to the 17th and 18th fret. Same way. The main thing for me after that is to only down stroke the very first strum and after that it a quick up and down strum each time.
what about when you play the 9th and 11th, my fingers mute E B and D, then when you move the first finger up to do the bar chord, my finger mutes the D smh@@rfisher2314
how did you reach that tone? I've been trying for a while but I only have a distortion pedal, so I'm starting to think it's not possible
I used the Fortin Cali plugin with a Boss Super Chorus pedal. What kind of pedal are you using?
@@rfisher2314 I just have a Boss DS-1. Thinking about buying a new pedal but not sure which one I should go with tbh.
@@rfisher2314 Also my amp is a Marshall MG10G.
What settings do you have for your clean tone
I was using the Fortin Cali Suite plugin for this.
Forgive me. I have no clue why I asked for clean tone settings on a song with no clean parts.
Sounds damn good bro
Thank you very much!
Do Linkin Park Halo (Unreleased Demo 2002) from Linkin Park Underground LPUX Cover.
Best standard amp settings?
Bass around 6-7, Mids 4-5, Treble 5-7 and Gain at 4-6. It’s always hard to say which settings are best depending on which type of pickups are in the guitar. Any time I dial in a new amp setting I usually put everything right in the middle and adjust to taste. One thing about Stef’s tone that I find constant is that he usually will cuts mids quite a bit.
bro lowkey looked like stephen carpenter
lmao i thought this was stephen carpenter himself
😂
Excellent you copied steph's face
🤣🤣🤣 the amount of times I’ve been told that I’m impersonating Stef. Just wish I could write riffs as good as him.
