Hi Liz! Thanks for doing another experiment for us! I love doing experiments too. I have a couple of very nice canvases with double sided tape so will see what the stick is like and will give this a try. I have the Diamond Dotz glue along with Aileen’s Tacky Glue. I have used the Tacky Glue a few times on canvases where there is no stick and it worked…put a thin layer then the drills right away. Have a great week! 🥰💎
Thank you for this Liz❤ ohhh something else I can try out. I got a cheap box of Diamond paintings ages ago and have discovered some areas have no stick and it is a full drill canvas. It just seems to be the one I'm working on.Great video x
Very good experiment! I have used the Diamond Dotz glue and have learned that one slightly thick coat (slight white) is plenty. Do let it air dry to clear before putting on a cover sheet or the sheet will stick down too much. It smells just like the poured glue canvas so I think it is the same stuff. As far as the DSA canvases perhaps test on the overhang edges (they always have a spot) with a drill to see if it is forgiving or not. If it is not then do the poured glue conversion. I prefer special drill too and sometimes I have seen them move too. I started single placing and prefer to multiplace with square drill canvas. I started out with a 3 placer for a while and then moved up to a four. I prefer the plastic thinner multiplacers for as they are used the drills make little grooves in the multiplacer and start lining up on their own. It becomes quite fun. Squares become more about lines then dots. Thank you for doing this experiment. I really enjoy your videos.
Hi Liz, interesting experiment. As for your brush isopropryl alcohol may help, not sure how good it would be for the brush though! As for keeping out the bottle your using, i have to do it too or I too forget which symbol I was doing. I've also put back wrong drills in wrong bottle before now by not keeping thr bottle out. Thanks for this Liz, I love watching your experiments 😊 Have never tried CB magic glue must give it a go. I always tended to stay away from DSA canvases as didn't like them! Do have 2 in my stash which I got when I first started diamond painting, maybe will give this a go! 😊
Good question, I’m not sure . If the picture is in a frame , I would think the glass would keep everything together. If it’s not in a frame with a cover it could do . I haven’t tried Aileen’s tacky glue . I’ll have to look it up . I’ve got some diamond dotz on order 🥰💎🥰💎

I may do this ( not Finnish watching) if it works as have som tacky glue
Have you tryed white spirits or paint brush cleaner on the glue brush
I may do this started to like poured glue. And yes I have noticed the movement in the poured glue
