6:36 - 6:41 Something I discovered that might help speedrunning. If you use the 'look back' camera on the car just before, you avoid the 5 second slowdown. Just thought I'd share that.
If you don't watch the car the militia won't fire the rpg that kills them which loses time since the car is invincible till that happens and you can't run into it.
Actually, the trick is just to look back for a couple of seconds when the officer states ''They just fired an rpg." Resume the normal camera just before Gordon starts talking - the slowdown doesn't occur and the militia kill the cop car immediately. If you try this out yourself, it does work. Saves 5 seconds, better than nothing.
Man at the beginning of the game i feel bad knowing that if you shoot the people you can meet the cop later and hes very shaken be it all....now everytime i start a game i dont shoot them because it makes me feel bad, plus he isnt sad
@@jt8892 3:23 the fiirst shot is forced but once you have control of the cop dont shoot or shoot. later when you go to the GCPD you can find the cop that shot all of those people or didnt shoot them.

Did the same on NG+ so everything except the riddle trophies and my time was 9h57 min
