For some reason, when Barbara "kills herself", her model disappeared for me. So I was left extremely confused watching a floating gun
they must not want us having realistic footage of Barbara blowing her head off.
I had the same bug for when batman took her to the GCPD I tough it was a fear toxin effect and he was imagining that she is alive!

I've been replaying the game and yesterday I got a glitch that meant Joker didn't have any animation in the Johnny Charisma song, he was just frozen whilst the the song played. I sacrificed Robin to restart the encounter and it worked 😂
i got a bug when batman and robin beat up harley robins model didnt even load from the start of cutscene and the fight he didnt have any voice either i was confused why did robin had subtitles when he wasnt here
You can see Bruce Wayne's face in the Hush side mission, when he takes off his mask. I believe that is why the models have fully textured faces.
And when he gets revealed by scarecrow
except if you use the suit you start with in the game, they didnt texture the face underneath
@@simplylemonade9056 no that would be the regular suit and face because it was a pre-rendered cutscene so it ignores what skin you have equipped and uses the default
You can see it on Hush, Knightfall and the ending

There is a mod on pc for it but I wish it was on console :(

Thats the nightmare model that plays at the end when you give scarecrow his own gas and he gets scared himself

Just for you cube worshipers. This was most likely one of my safe spawn zones. Characters spawn into falling mode so if you want to spawn them off screen they need some where to land. Under the floor guarentees the player can't see them

Actually, that thing in the diner that attacked Officer Owens wasn’t Scarecrow. It was Jason Todd
and he didn't just start releasing the fear toxin when officer owens interacted with him, that smoke coming out of the bag was the fear toxin
No the model is Jason Todd, it was the only good model to hide the face and the ‘Scarecrow’ jumpscare is affected by the ventilation which was a thing back in Arkham Asylum.
CIDES no it has to be Jason there’s no way scarecrow who has a mangled destroyed face would be allowed in there with suspicion and if you look at the ac duct there’s no gas coming out of it it’s always been shown that it’s a yellowish greenish color
TheJennafoo1977 not really cause the fear gas can appear mostly brown but also many different colours and m8 I’ve been told it’s Jason. Just leaves me with the question why Scarecrow would risk his ‘Arkham Knight’ within the fear gas attack.
CIDES probably had a gas mask in his bag that he put on when he got inside we never actually see his face
Regarding the Joker's weird effect when he first appears: it's plausible that he still had a burn effect shader applied from the intro cutscene, and the simplest way to get rid of it after moving his model from storage was to quickly reverse the shader's values.

This is probably waaay too late to get noticed, but I may have some insight into why Penguin's arms cache turns into a Titan container (discussed at 7:22 or so).
As many of you know, in Arkham City there is a side-mission that involves Batman detonating Titan containers around the city. Given the similarities between that mission in City & the Penguin mission in Knight, it is highly likely that the code for tracking completion of these two missions are mostly unchanged between City & Knight in order to save time.
To further explain in the simplest way possible: asuming the code to incriment a "Titan Containers destroyed" counter in Arkham City relied on a "DestroyedTitanContainer" object/model appearing in the scene, it can be inferred that the same outcome must occur for the "Arms Cache Destroyed" counter to increment in Knight.
Therefore, given the player is never supposed to see what happens after you destroy the Cache, the devs may have kept the same City code in its entirity & caused the cache to turn into the DestroyedTitanContainer, thus fulfilling the requirements to increment the counter in exactly the same way. This would save time on writing code & making new assets when they won't be needed.
Sorry if that makes no sense at all, it's 2am as I write this. At least to me, it just looks like the most logical way to reuse code for similar missions across games
Close. The titan container code was reused because it could already recieve goo and fire a notification when donated. We simply changed the pre donation model. No point reinventing the wheel

@@Podbod Ah, was about to suggest something very similar that it was simply a reskinned model. But an entirely new model replacing the old one was definitely my second guess.
Also, I have a suspicion about the textureless box, I dont know if you know the real reason behind it, but how big are the odds that it was a reference object based on in-game events or "interactive cutscenes"? Because if you move the location of the level on the grid, you'd also move the box with it and often invisible/textureless objects are dealing with scripts.

About those "post-it notes" on Lucius' eyebrows -- this is actually a sneak peek into how hair is modelled in modern gaming. Basically, you have a bunch of those rectangles, and each has a texture of a few hair strands, and outside of those strands the texture is transparent. You mix and match them, and the result is pretty good-looking hair. So in this case and in this case alone, it seems, those hair textures were not made transparent from the other side -- they were left white.
3:53 I think it was confirmed that the toxin guy was Jason Todd, the character model name in the game files says so
Which is especially interesting to me since there are some faint hints in the game that Jason Todd was supposed to have been Anarky from Arkham Origins (in this continuity, not in main canon of course). Notice that he not only dresses somewhat like Anarky but he's leaving the anarchy symbol scratched on the table!
@@jasonpratt5126 that's sounds very interesting, but if I remember correctly Anarky was called Lonnie Machin and Batman saw his face when stopped him, so I think Bruce would have noticed if he was Anarky when recruiting him as Robin 🤔

I found out the untextured Box at 6:06 is for. It is a fail save to recover you when you have no point to respawn at. I just had a glitch where Batman flew past its Grapple Hook location and kept flying until the map border and fell in the water and since the game couldnt find the last point i touched on the ground it just put me on the cube.
Worst part is that there is no kill trigger down here so i keep falling forever because i jumped off

isn't that a glitch they put into the arkham games to ruin it for people who bought pirated copies or something? not accusing you, I know that it's almost definitely not bulletproof and has affected at least a couple not pirated copies, which uh, must suck

MGSV does have a free cam mod on PC, So you can always boundary break it yourself in the meantime until hopefully a video is made :p
I found a glitch where when you exit the Riddler's orphanage you can get joker on you car and drive so fast his body is separated. If you leave the orphanage before you get rid of Joker, he appears in an area where you can drive the batmobile. Wait for him to stop talking then he becomes movable. Drive the batmobile straight at him in battle mode and he clips to the top of the vehicle. Now you have Joker on car. If you can take him into the streets, and because he is in view, he stays. If you boost, his body starts to fly apart.
I'm really curious about the "THE EVIL WITIHIN" series!!!!
Also, one of the off map islands is Batman: *Arkham City*
If u look closely, you can see the *A* billboard and the skyscraper that ur at at the end of the game.
I think all the other Arkham games are the off islands too.
Just a couple things. Love the show but here's some info you might find interesting.
The camera model comes with unreal, at least it used to I haven't been able to get any work done in months because of health issues. It comes in REALLY handy for visualizing camera movements, where they weren't done in a 3rd party package and just imported anyway. To be honest even then it's great for tweaking or just seeing it run.
The boxes could be there just to align the open world. Unreal handles streaming by loading in entirely different map files into the persistent world. I'm not saying this is definitely what they're for but considering the size of the open world it makes sense that when they were cutting up the world they would duplicate simple objects to make sure the final was aligned correctly and to avoid any holes in the floor for players to fall through
Oh and just because I'm an old nerd. That wasn't scarecrow in the dinner it was Jason

Actually, the smoker in Pauli's diner is the Arkham knight. It's model is "demon Jason Todd". Also, the Arkham knights A symbol is scratched onto the table.

I'm so surprised you didn't include the Johnny Charisma battle, where Joker sings and Johnny's model is swapped out for Joker's then back to Johnny.
I know I just explained how it probably happened, but it still would have been cool to see quick A poses and the swapping between those smooth transitions.

@Matt Poogerman Does have knightmare difficulty, I know because for some reason I 240%ed the game twice

You get 205% by finishing both modes.

When the joker sort of unburns as paper in ace chemicals, ive found that he does this all the time he appears. If you look at another time when joker is messing with your head in free roam, you can see him do the same thing.

just a small thing I want to throw out there:
the character at 3:53 is not scarecrow, it's actually the arkham knight
the A scratched into the table hints at this (A for Arkham) as well as his clothes being red (because he later becomes the red hood, basically a giant spoiler hidden away at the very beginning of the game) and the name of the character model in the game files also calls it the arkham knight
