Man I played Soleil again after more than 20 years, I'm so nostalgic, looking for some rearrangement of the amazing OST of this game, hope you'll cover more of it.
I haven't arranged music in a while, but maybe I'll revisit Soleil if I ever make music again :) Dahlia Valley was going to be my next, but I didn't like the way it was sounding when I was making it
@lunaticgate Thanks for your comments! I hope I'll be doing more soleil soon... and the most likely to be done is the world map tune... thats my next favorite to Rafflessia Training Grounds. I took a listen to the Dark Night song and it's great... still figuring out how could it be done with my resources... which are not much ;-) anyways, hope I can post a new arrangement soon :-) thanks

I have been tempted to "remake" another one, especially after seeing there are many fans of this game and its soundtrack that still remember it... what about the overworld theme? I always loved that one too!

@UncleTootles well as I don't have a keyboard, plus I dont know how to play one... all I got is an ear I guess... so I did it all note by note with the mouse... it took me ages lol.. dunno exactly :-P Thanks a lot for all your positive comments though :-) Maybe Ill do something else again when I geta new pc... when this one dies... not far away according to the sounds it alredady makes hehe ;-)

Thanks :-) I'm so glad you like it. Maybe one day I'll do something else but I think my laptop must die first so i can use better soundfonts without the pc crashing all the time... soon maybe ;-)

The timbre reminds me of Lunar for the PS1, and that's a great thing. Very nice arrangement!

@Jereplofje I love how you defined my arrangement.. anime-opening-themed... you really got it... though I'd really say it's more anime ending hahaha. I never noticed this comment, sorry for the late reply :D yeah, they were old already when I used them, or at least not the top you could get...and my mastering skills were pretty rough haha but thank you so much for appreciating :) I think the base song had so much potential, it's such a nice melody and chord progression that instantly evokes nostalgia.

Thank you so much. it's not on OCR because I never submitted it there... it was in the WIP forums twice though... never was confident enough to submit it there and probably it wouldn't have made it... as much as I like people enjoying this arrangement, it still has sound quality problems... I lack a proper studio and experience after all. Thank you though :-)

They are indeed, as many tunes in videogames... it's a shame people who've never played them or had any interest in them see game music as something not worhk listening to because some of the catchiest tunes Ive heard in my life I've heard in videogames :-) Thanks for the comment and like :-)

My favourite is Dark Night and also the song that is played in freesia i think thats so beautiful. Amazing the music on a megadrive. Lots of game music lately just isn't as charming anymore. Its too overly complicated and less memorable, or just annoying.

Beautiful. I think it's a bit loud on the ears in some places though. If you can create a good remix of the song that's used when you explore Castle Freesia I would be very interested.

Unfortunately, I don't have the original files anymore to work with on fruity loops, but I guess you can make something out of this?? Let me know if you need any format. I did have so much fun making this, even though it was one of the first arrangements I ever did, and the sound quality is quite amateur :P
