@@introvertdude99you have to remember everyone is different, so certain scents last long or dont, percival on me lasts 6-8+ hours And even on the dry down nearly 2 days
I prefer Sedley and wife prefers Percival! Wearing mostly Sedley on these Hot Days, probably will wear Percival more in the Fall. Sedley has decent (6-8hrs) longevity on my skin and Percival has great longevity (8-10hrs).
I love both of them but if I were to choose one, it would be Percival. Percival has the edge over Sedley when it comes to performance and overall scent.
I know this video is old but I have to say, Percivals performance was absolutely monster grade when I used it yesterday. I sprayed a test strip and put it in my back pocket. The small amount on that little strip gave me a strong scent bubble from my back pocket for 3 hours, it was quite astonishing. It completely overpowered the 6 sprays of Profondo I had on my neck.
I know this is a year later, but I'm just watching this now and I literally had to just decide between Sedley and Percival after smelling the decant. In the end Percival won and is on its way. Love your channel and I love the fact that every fragrance you like is right in line with my taste. Thank you.
I picked up a partial of Percival and it was a showstopper for me. Between Percival and Aventus Cologne I got a lot of compliments and I’m not one that gets complimented often.
I bought Percival like 2 weeks ago for my 19th birthday after smelling it back in the fall. The aromatic slight sweetness it has and spices makes it really suitable in the fall months as well. So far wearing it in the high summer heat, I love it a lot but not as much as I would wearing it in the fall because on my skin the spices come out more. This is the first ever niche scent that was love at first sniff for me and I’ve smelled a lot of niche fragrances that just didn’t impress me. Longevity for this one on my skin is around 8-10 hours, but if I spray it on my clothes as well it’s easily over 15+ hours. I get good projection for the first 3 1/2 to 4 hours and then it sits somewhat close to the skin, yet you can still smell whiffs of it throughout it’s wear. I do agree that I do go a bit nose blind to it by the time it’s near the end of its lifetime, but overall imo best blue type of scent I own that has everything I look for in a scent: spices, woods, florals with the lavender, freshness, etc. It’s way better than Sauvage for me.
@@ftrctyvreycertcewtcwrgcwef6000 I’ve smelled most of the Creed line, acqua di Parma, Tom ford private line, Maison Margiela, other PDM fragrances, Bond fragrances, By Kilian, Penhaligans, and more

Personally, I have Percival and Dua's Legendary Knight. They are almost identical, but Dua is stronger. The PDM seems a little smoother, but the performance on the Knight is no joke. I have a sample of Layton, which I love. I just bought Dua's Royal Chariot Attar. If it is as good as PDM and lasts longer, then it'll be a no brainer for me to get the Dua instead of PDM. I usually will try both original and clones, but will go for the better juice. If an original is reformulated and killed, I'll get the better clone.
@Mr. E.W Layton is not for summer, but it is the best fragrance in my collection, it is an amazing Apple-Cardamon-Vanilla long lasting night out men's fragrance. it is a MUST. Mancera's CB is for summer spring (also night-out men's scent) but "leathery-cedarwood" while Aventus is more gentle and smoky, so CB is much longer lasting and way cheaper than Aventus but perhaps you can say Aventus is more "elegant Chypre" than CB. Anyway I am not going to pay the price of Aventus.
