23:52 is a hidden gem of advice! the feeling of the club (including the arms/hands) "trailing" behind the turn of the body and only getting their energy/speed from the pivot really creates a dynamic movement through transition and impact.

Essentially it all boils down The Crunch Away Golf Swing with the lead side obliques and then for the downswing push away with the trail knee and foot to crunch away on the trail side. Cheers

Milo is the bomb, not sure what that means but I bet you do! Rewatched this and the air swing has no worries because no hitting is required, forget the ball exists and make the air swing and let the ball get in the way.

I feel that confusion as the elbow begins to fold, and the turn ain't easy to get there without arms momentum fast from the start. Just R/H can get the initial whip and then your on a pivot and don't quit because you feel the top half just continued the club path as you spiral to the top . Time stops as you wait wait for your body to catch up at the top like you took a shortcut . I feel it but cannot produce it under pressure , still fleeting. None the less another bunch of clever well thought out questions you have provided. Lol.

Hey B. Bit off this topic. Great vid btw. Ever since Rory started working with Pete Cowan there was evidence in his bag of using the G-Force 7 iron and wedge to practice his swing. Would love to see your take on this product. Keep up the great content.

Your bad move is like your trying to hit it to the opposite field, or like you’re hitting a run around forehand from left side of tennis court to right. I think it happens psychologically because you are afraid of going left. Hit that forehand down the line :-)

P.S The plane shift height change I feel is when the takeover of path above the waist begins as you spin, turn spiral or pivot, choose your flavour up. Tricky spiral as it's along your angled spine.

In your air swings you would completely miss the ball if it were there. That’s why the swing looks so good at P6 and P7.
If a ball was there then your brain would subconsciously move you to release the angles earlier and all the things you don’t like about your swing would show up.

Does Milo use the handle “pressing” down move at the begining of the backswing with irons the same as he does with the driver? If so, can he or you demonstrate that with an iron.

I have the same issues: air swings perfect, real swings sometimes off at the top, always a little bit of right arm wrestling move in transition, too closed at impact. As in your swings, the main and real difference to me seems to be the head, maybe we must focus on moving it like in the air swing in the real swing.
I have tried this and a lot of other stuff, foam balls, green balls etc., but still have no idea how to overcome it.
We need to recalibrate our cerebellum, a near impossible task.

So is the real question being stuck or the right elbow not transitioning forward enough towards the belly button? My transition is horrendous because I have that overwhelming desire to yank down on the club forcing my arm path down in turn causing my swing arc to become very steep leading to my right elbow to rest on my love handles and not towards my navel. Transition is the single hardest part in the golf swing for me! Really appreciate all the knowledge and incite your sharing Brandon. THANK YOU!

40 degrees seems real flat for a lie angle on any club, standard would be in the 60's (62.5 standard 6iron)for all clubs. Not really sure about that one, I could see maybe in the upper 50's for a flatter lie angle. Here nor there, anyway the concept of lowering is great, something I do not do correctly.

The process to actually changing your swing doesnt have to be this complicated. You just need to buy yourself a big mirror. Make slow repeated practice swings on what you're doing and slowly make the changes. Trying new thoughts and hitting balls at full speed will never work. Way too much muscle memory already ingrained.

      I understand.
The ball is a major problem for everyone unless you are a tour player.
The only reason why these moves wouldn't happen naturally is if you are ball bound.
It's a mental issue not a mechanical one.
This is (in my opinion) why amateur golfers get stuck in an endless cycle of (working on our swing).
I'm not sure it's just what I think I definitely could be wrong.
The main reason I started following this channel was for the simplicity of the Instructors, mainly because my issue is overthinking over working trying to find the perfect swing.
I referenced my teacher Marty Fleckman.
He won the first PGA tour event he played in he then lead the US Open for 3 days the final day shot 80 and Palmer oe Niklaus won it was in the mid 60's
      67?
His teacher was Byron Nelson he went to Byron and said he wanted to change his swing he never won again he played another 5 or 10 years but never got close.
He told me there isn't a perfect swing once you get to a point you just have to trust what you have and play.
If anyone understands that its him.
The first lesson he gave me was the best money I ever spent.
He gave me permission to stop trying to get a perfect position or hit it another 10 or 15 yards he said throw your right hand from the top and shut the F up.

99% of golfers early extend, they do not compress into the ground, retain their posture and hit the ball with a bent trail arm 😂. Milo is teaching us all what needs to happen to proceed the desirable impact position.
