One is about to give birth to the child of God and the other is the child of the Devil and he must decide which one is good and which one is evil before Satan's followers can stop him.

So that we can repent and believe and trust in Him for our salvation. He paid it all in full. The veil was rent so that we can go to God the Father directly in our prayers. The bible says....there is one mediator between God and man. The Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 2:5

Wow. I will admit, as a stand-alone movie on its own, it was decent - a bit cheesy and stiff in parts, but... decent. However, considering the book it was based upon ("Cradle & All" by James Patterson - excellent book, I highly recommend it), so much was changed that it actually ruined the story a bit. ((SPOILERS)) Sister Anne and Father Justin were completely different, and why did Colleen Galaher in Ireland from the book become Margaret Galaher in America? Why make both girls American, and what about the twist of the Real Child of Light not being the child of either Kathleen or Colleen?? I know movie adaptations change things all the time, and normally I would not have a problem with it - but to fundamentally change the whole message of the story really bugs me.
If you actually read the original version which is virgin by James Patterson you would know that it was actually the virgin Kathleen who had the child of light
jonathan torres I read the book "Cradle & All", which was re-named from "Virgin" - by James Patterson - and I finished it for the third time the same day I watched the movie on UA-cam, and therefore the same day I posted my comment earlier. Perhaps if you re-read the book and pay attention to it, you'd know that the Irish Virgin (Colleen) was the mother of the Child of Darkness, Kathleen in America had a normal human baby (NOT a Holy Child) (check Chapter 110) as the result of a sexual assault that her memories repressed due to the stress of it, and the nun Sister Anne conceived through Immaculate Conception and birthed the true Child of Light (a daughter) at the end of the novel (check Chapter 111). Just before the epilogue set years later when the two children are young adults.
