Hey Sam, the recruitment process was very long, multiple interviews, a test and having to pass that test. It took months A typical day at work is me at the office working on my laptop or I can be at home working too. We have meetings with clients or the team and thats it really. The pay is okay, depending on what your contract says you have to contribute towards. I have to contribute towards retirement, life insurance, medical aid etc. those are beneficial things but they do take away from my salary. But I get a decent starting salary
Love the job hunting tips! Especially about researching/doing short courses on words/topics that keep coming up on job specs. That can also help you in the interview to be able to answer questions related to that topic even if you don't have the work experience.
