- Avoid these 2 sitting positions if you have back pain. Common sitting mistakes which can cause back pain.
In this video Dr. Varun Wasil-MPT(Orthopaedics) from Sukoon Physical Therapy explained about 2 mistakes which most of the people make while sitting. if you want to avoid low back pain then you should not sit in L shape position or long sitting position in bed.
secondly, you should avoid sitting on fluffy or the surface which are too soft it will lead to sinking effect on pelvis, where hip level is lower than knee level. This is wrong sitting position for back and leads to lower back pain.
Avoid sitting for long hours continuously. You should break the sitting movement in short intervals to avoid lower back pain.

Do exercise daily for 30 to 40 minutes dedicatedly without fail to keep all your muscles healthy... you will never fall ill or have any back problem....our forefathers used to work hard, they never had problems...we don't exercise this is the big mistake....so please do exercise religiously....

Dis is unbelievable.. Either u r a genius or a god sent angel.. I met so mny docs n tried so mny medicines n therapies but nothing worked fr my lower bak pain.. I would like to share one more posture that we can incorporate is when sitting on sofa to sit upright at the edge of the sofa. As far as possible to sit on plain hard surfaces ex. wooden chair keeping back straight and never to lean back. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you so much. I have been facing lower back pain for the last almost 2 years. I have undergone physiotherapy as well as various treatments but none of them explained me in such detail. After seeing this, i realized that I have been sitting in wrong position on bed, sofas as well as in my car. I will avoid such wrong positions and i am sure i will get relief. Thanks
