Very nice, BUT the playability would undoubtedly be off-the-charts AWFUL. Incredibly unwieldy and heavy with absolutely ZERO spin. Belongs in an art museum, not on a pickleball court.
Did you happen to measure the weights of each paddle? I’m planning on making my own out of some hard wood, but still open to using other materials as well
So the hardwood one i made was 14 oz and felt a little like a boat oar to swing. The plywood one was even heavier at 14.2. I would suggest a super light wood or if you do plywood, go 1/4" not 1/2". The honeycomb one was 9 oz. I linked to it in the video description.
I want to make one too. I want to use a drill press and make a lighter hard wood honeycomb and then veneer and fiberglass... Might make it light but still have the nice grain and even some texture.
Hmm... A mundane object that could be made into a bougie piece of art, just to have that ultra sexy feel in the hand?? TV remote!
Any links to where you got the honeycomb, edging, etc?
Just threw the links in the video description. They honeycomb is available on Etsy too but same pricing.
Awesome build! Great job
How do you feel about these paddles in comparison with market products? Thanks
Can't find the honeycomb panels on amazon or etsy. Advice on sourcing?
How did it play compared to other paddles?
Uh oh might have me beat 🫢😎
i was thinking of making these types of paddles. loved the video. can i buy a template?
so just wondering... how are the three paddles holding up?
can you send me the link of the edge guard you used?
Absolutely stunning paddles but HOW DO THEY PLAY!?
So curious about the differences in play between them. Please, we NEEED a follow up.

This is awesome!
I want a boujee pickleball paddle!!
What kind of substrate did you epoxy that to?
fiberglass, caught it on my 3rd watch through haha. great video!
Amazing
These are sick!
Super high quality video. Can’t believe you only have 510 subs and this video only has 1k views !?
Need a pair of these

Glue sand paper 100 grit for maximum spin. 🤔
You need to patent that pickle jig 5000
Get some skateboard grit and get in on the paddles, thatll get you some spin.
shouldve put some clear grip film... a smooth paddle is the worst
Making the world most illegal paddle… maximum control 100+, power 100+, & spin 100+. 😂
Would you be able to make me a mahogany Smashball paddle for the beach?
I actually could. DM me on instagram if you are serious. @andrew_shotts
the legs on my couch are looking bland and mundane. I wonder what those would look like if someone built some custom boujee sofa legs 🤔
All that for 1 shot of how one of the 3 sounds.. bummer
