I’m about to put some Rubi shocks and front springs on mine. I have a Max Tow so will leave the rear spring stock and just do Rubi shocks out back. I got the takeoffs for free so hoping for a slight front lift and cool looking shocks lol
Just picked up some fox take offs from a rubi diesel to put on my willeys diesel. Front springs are the same part numbers from the willeys and rubi. I'm guessing because they are diesel. Oh and I scored the take offs for $150! Only 7k miles on them
I have been looking for those for a while, then thinking instead better to go with falcon mono tubes. Looking for a less bouncy ride on the street. Do you think those foxes are similar to the falcons?
Your axle now sits towards the driver side adding any kind of lift will cause the axle to shift towards the driver side adjustable track bar can fix this issue.
Wow. Brilliant. You understand a bit of geometry lol. You actually have to understand the initial condition in order to make that assessment. If the panhard bar was positive before lifting it, it could have actually shifted it the other direction ;) in any case, the amount of shift with a lift is small is negligible.

Tow often, only hunt club trails, duck camp and farm roads and trails. Which best ? Spring swap or leveling kit. Going to run stock shocks until needed then upgrade to better ,more use specific shocks .thanks
What trails are you in? I bought the fox shocks when I got the Jeep and have never put them on, debating on selling them, specially after seeing your video lol.
You got more than you thought in the front because the back was still sitting on the old shocks, nce you put the larger ones on the rear the back pivots lowering the front.
So other than the look (which I agree is cool), is the swap worth it? Im looking for more smooth ride...this is the first Im hearing of max tow and rubi showing little to no difference.
i upgraded my overland to fox shocks because they were cheap take offs n gotta be better then the stock plain ones plus they look good never thought about the rubicon springs id rather have those then coil spacers did ya find out what was making that noise are the springs supoosse to bow out
@@MudPuppyOffroad ya i researched the higher number is stiffer spring that goes on the drivers side because of the wieght of driver n fuel tamk did ya put spacers in the back i see people putting the rubicon springs on the back to
The higher the number thing usually works but is not always the case. There are several different doing sets for just rubicons depending on which bumper and top was fitted and other factors
I have an opportunity to get free rubi take offs. Do you replaced the springs and shocks on the front but only the shocks on the rear? I have the sport and max tow.

They were a perfect fit, same length and everything. I have a 2" leveling kit. And added a .75 spacer on the rear. After i put the shocks, thre corners measured 5.5" from the top of the tire to the fender and driver rear only measured 5"

Have you seen the Clayton premium lift package with the falcon replacement shocks from terraflex for the gladiator ?
Yeah I looked at it. Changes way more stuff than I need to mess with for a small lift

Noise was the ball joints. Springs are also corner specific don't swap em

I would not replace your springs your stock ones are better
