I was at Ikenne then at 13yrs and living close to his house. The mood in the town was like the earth had fallen. We had the opportunity to see many prominent people all over the world came in to town. It was a time I can never forget. I remember when chief MKO Abiola visited him to call a truce before Papa passed. Those were many times I can never forget. Dr. Dosumu that you watched being interviewed trained as a medical doctor. She gave her medical service from day 1 to date to Nigeria. She has given hundreds of hours of free medical service. This is what we Yoruba people want to emulate. A life of service, humility and having a close relationship with God. Papa Awolowo is gone but his legacy will remain forever. It is not the medals that we win here on earth that matters but the medal God gives us. Build your relationship with God. It is not too late to start
