Don't believe so easily without investigating for yourself. He actually lied in this hearing. He came out later in the high court to testify that the assassinations he had admitted to was made up and given to him and another testifier by Prof Osinbanjo (The former Attorney General of Lagos state at the time) and some other prosecutors in order to make sure Hamzat Al-Mustafa was convicted and killed, but they failed to succeed, after the court of appeal found out the case was incredibly bias and ignored evidence, and even the bullet that was used to kill Kudirat Abiola was taken away by the police and no one could get it. And in 2009, just a year after the case was reopened Sgt Rogers was in involved in an accident where two of his car tyres came off as he was driving, that's more than just coincidence don't you think. So the real question is who is actually behind all this because Abacha was long dead, and Hamzat and his family were fighting for their lives. Its really easy to judge a book by it cover or a story from one telling, but i actually went ahead to do some investigation on this case. Because the media will only show you what they want you to see.

In May 1966, General Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi, Nigeria’s first military head of state promulgated the infamous Decree No. 34 of 1966, the “unification decree.” The decree effectively did away with the federal system of government practised by Nigeria since its independence from British colonial rule in 1960. In its place, the general instituted a unitary system of government as a way of discouraging “tribal loyalties and activities which promote tribal consciousness and sectional interests and which must give way to the urgent task of national reconstruction.” The decree suspended aspects of the Nigerian constitution and, with it, the military government arrogated to itself wide discretionary powers. Unknown to the general, the effects of this decree would reverberate well into Nigeria’s sixtieth year as an independent nation.

Abacha died underneath an Indian harlot.
That was the VERY FIRST story we heard. And that is the story I prefer to keep.
Because I hate to consider the possibility that it was his enemies (who were under his finger when he was in power, but free to plunder Nigeria all the more today) that arranged his death.
I am sure it was IBB's "lovers" all over Nigeria that began to spread that miserable rumour about him being poisoned, knowing that it would eventually suggest that their evil-genius master-minded it.
So as far as I am concerned, Abacha died of cardiac arrest while having heroine induced sex with an over sexy Indian hoe!

Sad story of Nigeria sergeant Roger's was assassinated and Mustapha was declared not guilty who will come out and testify against the wrong doing happening in the country again when you know justice would never be served. The judicial system is also not helping matters and its just crazy no wonder the judicial system is now powerless and nothing more than a stooge to the executive and no powers of its own but orders from above.
This country should just go back to either regionalism or we split and go our separate ways. There should also be ways of holding our military heads accountable to offense

The line of questioning clearly showed it was tailored to indict Al-Mustapha. While the real people were not targeted. Sgt Rogers said the Strike force was a sub-unit under the security department headed by Al-Mustapha. The security department also had other sub-units like the Strike force. The Strike force was headed by an OC which Sgt Rogers mentioned but the panelist did not ask who that OC was. Sgt Rogers and his team will act on command from the OC, the OC will act on the command of Al-Mustapha. Al-Mustapha receives his orders from who?
