great question. there are only two options for halos - LED or CCFL. if it just says halo it is probably a LED-lit halo. LED lit halos are dimmer than CCFLs and are visible mostly at night as an accent light. CCFL stands for cold cathode fluorescent lighting. this is a very bright, crisp white light because the halos are actually small fluorescent light tubes. These are more expensive than LED but are easily visible during the day. I hope this clarifies it for you
The socket the far right of the light that does not connect to the truck is for certain model. The Ram has 2 style of headlight from 06-08. there is one style that had a amber strip on the bottom of the light and one without the amber strip. If your vehicle does not have that socket you can leave it alone or tap the wire. The HID problem you will have to contact the company you order these lights from because SPYDER does not sell or have HID kit.

You'll use the headlight adjuster bolts on the backside of the headlight, as you can see them in the link I have attached to the video description. It's easiest to adjust them in a darkened setting with your headlights pointed at a wall about 20 feet away to adjust your headlights up and down and left to right.
I'm thinking about buying these headlights for my pickup. The taillights are easy to install but these look very complicated to install. I don't know anything about wires or any of that stuff

please go to our website and look up PRO-YD-DR06 and we have a back image of the light, The back side of the light where the red and black wire are going to is for the high beam adjustment.
yes, If you wanted to run your LED/HALO/CCFL you will wire them to you parking lights.
yes we offer headlights for 2009-13 Ram Truck Ram 1500 models and our headlights should fit as long as your Ram is not equipped with the factory (OEM) HID system
Sir please note that these light are halogen and not HID so relay harness and "canceling resistors" is not need. those part will only be need if you added and HID kit and you have either a bulb out or lights flickering.

How the heck did you get it so flush?! I bought these exact headlights and there is at least 1/4 inch gap if not more.
I see you tapped the white wire to the park light but where does the red wire tap to and where do I put it? Is it tapped with the white wire with the parking light? You guys need a new video explaining the connection of the loose wires. If anyone has any feedback please help I have an 07 dodge 3500 with only two connection points when I take off the existing light

If I cut the driving light wire from the OEM socket and I put the LED wires to that running light , will I have the LEDs on while running lights but not the yellow bulb while they’re on and the actual turning light will light up the yellow bulb when I activate the turn or hazard lights on? My main point is that I don’t wanna have the yellow running light on just want the yellow turn signal when I activated them.
I bought these and been stuck with them don’t know how to install them

yeah I figured it out. also I found a cheap no name bulb that seams brighter than the ones that came with it. time will tell just how long they last though.

Where can you purchase replaceable bulbs and how much are they?
How do you adjust these lights? I bought a truck with them in and my high beams are where my lows should be.
I've searched it and all I can find are guys saying "the adjustment screws SHOULD BE on the housing behind the light," but I can't funds anything that moves my beams.
A video on this would be very useful.

Hey i have a 2013 ram and i wanna get some lights will the 2012 headlights fit the 2013 ram 1500??
i purchased these headlights. turn signal on the far right side has a plug but no plug on the truck for it nor in the kit for it.
and hid's will not fit into the projector without modification of the headlight.
Can u make it to were the low and high beams come on when u turn the high beams on. It would make them brighter wouldn't it? And would u hav to run it all the way from the light switch in ur cab?
My wires that i must connect are Red and Black, instead of Black and White?
When u spliced into the parking light did u leave the wire connected to the original light bulb?
what adapter is needed to hook up the side turn signal? The front one uses the OEM turn signal but no one ever mentions the side turn signal.

I got everything hooked up and it lights up and reason why the main middle bulbs do not light up ? Is their a connection I missed all the side and the halo around the mains bulbs light up just not the middle main ones thatnk you

Put some in my 07 dodge ram now the clear led's are going out i called the number on web site and they can't find the part numbers for me too replace them need help and i used eeb site in the description and could not find it Help Help
The lefty in the video, turns the splices the wrong way. The splices should always be turned to the right.
Does anyone have any idea how the hell you connect that little orange light next to the LEDs near the bottom of the head lights ? I want that thing to work too!
XzLeviathanzX On mine I took two of the tube splicers that you crimp down and made a plug for it then just ran two wires back the blinker and just use that light as a blinker
that's not a bad idea. I may wire mine into my running lights.
I ran mine to my running lights with a temporary connection. Anyone know the harness male end so I can install it properly. Why wouldn't this hardware be included????
These are a hazard, the adjustment is so minimal that even adjusted to the max they shine about 3 feet higher than the hood of the pickup at 15 feet let alone 25. I can only use the high beams on the road as the low beams are so far off, they don't even offer lighting for the lines on the road. Adjustment of the low beams is complete removal of the assembly. Sold my OEM set too soon and then had to go buy another set to replace these. Willing to make someone a great deal on these but not responsible for you or the deaths you cause by driving blind at night.
Okay so how would i wire these if i want my turn signal to turn on with the park lights along with leds and halos would i wire them the same way as in the video?
Can you replace the bulb for the headlights if they burn out?
mine has three bulb holes. no instructions for the small hole. my original bulb doesnt fit in the new light. 2006 Ram 1500 SLT
the bulb/socket from my truck is oval shaped. the third hold in the new lamp is roumd. next to the LEDS

Why is the turn signal not on the side?
Because the lights were designed that way. Anyhow, if you take a look, you will notice that the light is in a reflector housing, meaning, even from the side of the truck, you will still see the amber light reflecting when the signals are on.
Where can i get the right plug for the little amber turn signal next to the leds on the bottom? I looked on the socket and it says CS182F E1.
Saw the same with mine..I just soldered a couple leads and tied that into my parking lights. And taped up the plug to make it water tight.
I'm having the same issue. mine fits but doesn't latch or seal out water

the socket comes with some RAM models but not all. if your RAM doesn't come with it you can get it form the dealership and wire it.
How do you replace highbeam and lowbeam bulbs?
+Ken Martens pretty much the same method how you do with your factory headlights. open up the back cover the expose the light bulb and replace.

Those wires are awfully small, what 22 gauge?, Thanks for showing these spyder light video, I think I will avoid the brand! It is these tiny cheap ass wires used on the truck that are causing all kinds of problems, Computer, Alter, charging, shifting, even allowing the engines to stay running. On a truck mind you. A few bumps on the road, and that's it.

Hi why in a ram 2006 i can not pull it out??. I tried i Took the two screws on the front and the one down the fender 10mm but At the time Inwant to take it out it Seems a screw At the left top side on the back of the headlights need to be taken out but your video does not shows how . So there are two screws
On the front two on the back one down the fender and one that does not shows the video on the top of the bottom back 10mm screw.can you help me ???
