My friend is finishing up a big bore kit on his ltz400 and I’m looking at getting a warrior. His name is Jakob and mine is Cameron. This was a weird video to watch…
I’ve got a warrior and I have no complaints. I would like to try out an LTZ but I can’t complain about my warrior. It has a lot of versatile parts. It can take from many midsized quads and can be pretty much made to your liking. I’ve got a few friends who have made theirs get to 50 hp and 51 hp while mostve them keep theirs around 33-38 hp and currently I’ve got mine sitting at about 27 off of 89 pump gas and a few mods. It doesn’t have the oomph unless you want to sink a lil money into it but it is much easier to work on and is pretty reliable (unless you get an 87 or 88 since they’re very hard to get electrical parts for)
Warriors are everywhere at least in my area very reliable for there price range in my opinion the warriors most definitely gonna be a better bang for the buck great video
It’s not even so much the fact it is air cooled , it is more so the fact the warrior is only a 2 valve head compared to a 4V head on the DVX which really makes the difference in power levels. That said I’d still happily snag up a clean warrior if one pops up on marketplace and enjoy the hell out of it.
cool hard to find a real comparaison. i have a raptor 350 and a friend has a ltz400 but its like a drz400 engine swaped and runs like a a devil. and my raptor 350 runs fine but lacks power. it feels like a honda trx300ex i had a warrior 350 for a couple months that felt way more torque then my raptor 350.... i never raced my raptor vs the ltz cause by the time i fixe my raptor my friend trades his ltz for a ktm 450 or 250 4 stroke i forgot. so i never did a race but his ltz400 did outrun my stock banshee with a fatboy muffler stock air filter pipes etc.. only in 6th gear i catched up to him. his ltz400 with the drz400 engine has a ixil exhaust open air box, and probably has the most powerfull drz engine u got the 36hp ltz400 drz400 and the drz400e 39hp so i dont know what engine he has the removed the vin. but yeah his ltz was faster then my banshee... his ltz wheelies in 3rd and 4th gear without clutch... btw the warrior has a wider rear axle 5cm more then a raptor 350. they just turned around the rear rims, that is free widing on a warrior, front is small doh on warrior/raptor 350 i never found a real ltz400 stock vs raptor/warrior stock they always have mods... and yeah u sumed it up pretty much warrior/raptor 350 slower heavier (feels heavy atleast) pretty stable and doesnt wanna wheelie really, is not wide, needs spacers (or turn around the rear rims on warrior with wides side outside) they just dont have the punch you have with other quads, my honda trx300ex had more punch but tops at 60mph but was great from 0 till like 30 - 40 then it fell off. raptor 350 just keeps going not fast but has more, its actually a pretty boring quad :) fun but its just there ltz400 more power, wheelies very easy feels lighter, aluminium swing arm, overal wider stock. great quads and more aftermarket parts and yeah for same price ltz400 allll day, here in france, non road legal warrior go fro 1400-2000€, raptor 350 2000-3000€ ltz400 2200-3400€ and road legal with licencre plates etc warrior dont existe, raptor 350 3000-4000€, and ltz400 3000-4500€ prices are wierd cause i would never buy a raptor 350 if a ltz400 is same price... but alot want the raptor 350 look and yamaha, cause i dont know its yamaha... i got my raptor 350 road legal with paper licentce plats etc for 1200€ but it ran lean for years i think, stock jets with green air filter and doma exhaust.. i changed all that fixed a oil leak in the gasket of cylinder piston looked fine not new not worne but about you expext used. it runs good now. but i would never pay more thne 2k for a raptor 350 or warrior its not worth it.. i got my warrior for 500€ it had 4 slicks but a full CRD exhaust, cleaned it replaced carb, air filter, starter bearing some halve used tires i had, and sold it for 1250€ it was a piece of shit not worth my time to restore bearing a arms all had play, i do like the warrior look more. but having a banshee and raptor 350 is enough of both world, trials quad and just full speed quad that doenst like to go slow all i need. had a 450cc quad but i just hate them, demande way to much care and parts and break and just i have enough fun on a air cooled 350cc quad.
I have both a warrior 350 and a dvx400 which is basically a kfx400/ltz400 with different plastics. Obviously, the dvx is much faster, but the warrior ia heavier and takea off road trails better. Both have been great to me the many years i owned them

Does the kfx have electric start and reverse?
Yes
i got a trx 450r what will win ? yfz 450 or trx 450
I haven’t been on either but what I’ve heard is the yfz450 is a bit better all around and faster out the box but both are awesome regardless
@@jakeandcameron7022I looked at specs and Honda has faster take of
