Rode Hagrid's last month with my daughter, got on at dusk and when we took off it was dark and raining!, It was so magical with the headlights and the rain stinging my face, an absolutely magical experience as first time rider(came with my family of 5 from Australia). Everyone clapped at the end!!
The Forbidden Journey blew my mind! I can't wait to get back on it.
It's still my #1, even over Velocicoaster.
Spiderman isn't overrated. It's the best dark ride in either of those two Universal parks. Forbidden Journey is way worse when it comes to making my party feel nauseous but I would have gone with River Adventure or Cat in the Hat. Both were at least in poor shape in terms of maintenance the last time I visited though at least when the TRex is still operating, River Adventure is enjoyable. Cat in the Hat in B mode is awful.
Agreed. Spiderman is absolutely the correct choice for most overrated. The projections seem lower quality than newer projection rides. Also, for those that get motion sickness, it's more jerky than more recent rides, so it is definitely not worth the hype for a very large swath of Theme Park goers.
While Hulk did open with the park, it was refurbished/re-tracked in 2016. Part of the old track is what Hulk is ripping up at the entrance. This is a bit of a ship of Theseus debate, but I can see where people are coming from saying they are two different ride experiences.
By the end of the “original” coaster’s run, it was getting pretty rough. Just take a ride on Kumba, a similar style ride built by the same manufacturer around that time at Busch Gardens, to get a feel for how the old Hulk would be like today.
I love this video series! It’s been fun as a Patreon member to vote and chat with others in discord about our opinions, and I feel like we still learn a lot about every attraction in these videos too.

Would you guys consider doing a different take on 'ask the CM what to eat' where you ask your fans? That is, ask one of the people who say hi when they see you what to buy to eat/drink. But I'd also love to see this series come to WDW, I've been getting them right so far.
You used my comment from the USF video! Made my day! Loved both of these videos. I matched them up correctly but I'm a little surprised Spider-Man was the most overrated. But I kind of understand because so many ppl say it's their favorite & while it's a really good ride, it's not in the same zip code as Hagrid's or Velocicoaster imo. My most overrated is Skull Island: Reign of Kong for sure. It always has long lines and except for the Kong animatronic (admittedly very cool) & the good AC, it's really boring imo but it always has long lines. Storm Force Accelatron is definitely the worst imo, tho Doctor Doom's Fearfall is pretty bad too (and I LOVE drop rides; this one just isn't it imo). High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride definitely deserves to be named the most underrated. Such a fun ride and it doesn't get enough attention. And I can't allow the Rip Saw Falls slander! lol. To each their own and this is all subjective but Rip Saw Falls is one of mine and my wife's favorite rides in all of Universal.

There was more to my comment, but they obviously had to clip it for space & the whole point was us asking for an IOA video so the rest of my comment is irrelevant for this video.
I just love Fearfall, but I always do single rider so I've never waited more than 5 min for it. I can certainly understand not liking that its a 20 second ride after waiting for 30 minutes.
@@jagmaida5074 I get why some ppl like it. It's just kinda boring to me. It's not really a true drop ride. It shoots you to the top & then there's little drops. Tower of Terror at Disney is a much superior drop ride imo (Tower of Terror is one of the best rides in any park imo, tho I prefer Universal over Disney overall). I do agree though that there is a big difference between waiting 5 min and waiting 30+ min for Fearfall. I want to do the Villains Tour at Fearfall someday though

Loved the video. And even though you didn't ride the train, I have to say that when I heard they changed Hermonie's voice to sound more like her, I thought of you instantly. It was pretty bad. I can't wait to ride it again to hear the update.

Listen, I’m a diehard Spider-Man fan so I definitely don’t agree with it being overrated, I love that ride to bits. Also don’t agree with Storm Force! But I’m also biased because I have fond memories of being too short to ride Hulk and just riding Storm Force while my older cousins rode Hulk. Hulk is amazing though, 10/10
I just had the best trip to Universal for HHN! Love IoA so much and the wait time for the Hogwarts express was only 10 minutes
We stayed at the Royal Pacific in October because of your guys’ video and our stay was great. Was well worth the price with the express pass.
My mom surprised me for mothers day with a trip just her and I to Universal Dec 11-13. She told me she would be so excited to see you! lol

Not to be too much of a nerd but the Incredible Hulk coaster is not the oldest because back in 2016 they re tracked the entire ride and changed the queue so technically the name is the same but the original ride is gone.

Spider-Man is my favorite ride at any theme park anywhere, but that largely ties into Spider-Man being my favorite fictional character.

In terms of pure theming I will give it to hagrids but I feel like velocicoaster is the better coaster. Still, shout out to Intamin who have made some of the most iconic steel coasters of all time including one of my personal favorites, Millennium Force, nailing those two admittedly awesome coasters.

I agree with Kong being overrated but I don't hear many claiming Dudley is that great. I believe Popeye's is underrated. It is so much fun. I think one fish two fish is a lot of fun, especially if you have younger children. I actually think Hagrid's is a bit overrated. We've only ridden it around three or four times, waited in line around two hours each time, and it's nowhere near as fantastic as Velocicoaster. The Velocicoaster line is also not bad at all with Expresspass. We've ridden it lots of times and it always seems to be thirty minutes at most. I have heard tons of people say they didn't like FJ and nine times out of ten it is because it makes them sick. My daughter loves rollercoasters and she even got sick her first time riding. She's taken Dramamine the morning before since and has never had a problem with since. FJ is amazing. The first time I rode it I could not get over how fantastic both the castle and the ride were. I remember getting off the ride and the first thing I said was how in the world did they do that? Storm Force and Dr. Doom are both forgettable to the point I'd say you don't even need to ride them once.
Islands of adventure is definitely the better park in my opinion even though I do enjoy revenge of the mummy and diagon alley
I dont know why but only Hulk out of all the coasters I've been on gives me greyouts, I want to love the coaster but wow that scares the crap out of me.

I get motion sickness too so I get Storm Force getting worst but I'm shocked that Cat in the Hat wasn't even in the top 3 of the voting.
I agree with everything except I would flip Hulk and Spider-Man. Hulk isn’t really oldest anymore as it was completely torn down and rebuilt new. New effects and audio were added as well so it’s like a new ride just same layout. Feel like a different ride should have been used for opening day as much of the park is still from that time.

strong disagree on not saving time in single-rider in VC. on busy days with a 60+ minute wait for standby, i've been in and on and out in ten to fifteen minutes. total.
i agree on hagrids. it seems like single-rider on hagrids can take longer than the regular queue.
Kong is easily the most overrated idk what people were thinking on that one. It's already short and barely anything happens consisting of like 2.5 scenes total, most of which are screens, and has an outdoor area that can just be bypassed completely apparently, making it even shorter?
Didn't hate it by any means but once was enough that I will not feel bad skipping it on my later visits.

I went to Disney & Universal last December, and had what I refer to as an escalation in "the craziest ride I've ever been on." That started at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, escalated at Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventure and then peaked at Velocicoaster. I don't believe that there will ever be a crazier ride constructed than that one.

Technically Pteranodon Flyers is the oldest ride in the park as it was actually the first ride completed

Love Storm force!! Far superior than teacups at Disney, but I can understand why people don’t like it. The worst ride is The Cat in the Hat without question. I agree with Hagrid’s but I disagree with Spider-Man. The most overrated ride is The Incredible Hulk

I go to theme parks relatively frequently and this is the only ride that it happens on, but am I the only one that goes on Reign of Kong and just finds the audio way too loud and overwhelming?

I would say Kong is way more overrated than Spider-Man HOWEVER I would totally agree that if the wait time is over 45 minutes to an hour constantly I get it
Hulk was almost completely rebuilt in 2016, so I feel that was perhaps not the ride to choose for the oldest ride.
And, Spider-Man is the most overrated? Seriously? It’s an excellent ride and doesn’t get rated enough.

Kong is 100% most overrated taking wait times into consideration. I have gone a few times, each time thinking I must have underappreciated it the last time. Nope! It's just Fast and Furious with a cooler facade and one great moment with the animatronic Kong.
