Congrats on the QV! But to remove those camo wraps try the steamer to it & if that doesn’t work then definitely the rubber wheel for the drill will remove that just be careful not to burn through the paint with it!
Man I’ve been watching for a year and first comment is I love yall & yall journey I want my alpha now mad the qv is leaving but I like the guilia price
I curious to learn how the carbon fiber roof is repaired. Proper repair method is critical as the roof is an important part of the structural strength of an uni-body car. The carbon fiber hood is a $4-5K part when purchased new. Have fun!
Love it, can't wait to see what the verdict is with the QV! Personally I'd vote to try and get it squared away and then try to flip it or something. Oh boy oh boy!
Just bought a used 2020 Gulia ti sport and just found your channel. You said in this video that you can get it up to 400 hp. Can you quickly say what is needed to get there. From what I have found so far it seems like the following is necessary. 2. Modify Intake 2. Modify exhaust 3. ECU Flash or Piggyback 4. Hybrid turbo Am I missing anything?
I love my stelvio... but the stelvio and guilia are getting old 2017 ? I dont think any replacement models are coming.... I have a bad feeling Alpha is going to leave the US market again.
Theres a 2017 QV around me for $29k. If only I didn’t have a 15 month old baby, I’d risk it for the biscuit. My 2020 Giulia Ti Sport will suffice for now.
You mean install the QV engine in the 2.0 Guilia? It would be an extremely hard swap due to the huge differences between the 2.0l and 2.9l Giulias. A 2.0 Giulia with the QV engine would not be a safe or balanced car to drive. There are differences in the wheels / tires, suspension, brakes, transmission, differential, exhaust, body control module, rear subframe (QV has an aluminum rear subframe). Also it would not have a VIN for a QV.
@@larrychew1 I wonder if you can swap all the rest indeed. In any case he needs to take it to a custom builder in order to replace the roof and adapt/build a new one, so I wonder if they could do anything to adapt the Quadrifoglio engine inside the TI together with transmission and everything else since everything in the other car is in perfect conditions.
@@adriano8809 It would be an incredible and unbelievable amount of work to do the swap. There would be a lot of coding to update and there are always glitches. Also new mounting points may be needed for front end subframe, motor mounts, exhaust system, cooling systems (engine, turbos, A/C), rear subframe, belly pans are different, rear diffuser, active front spoiler, front fascia, side skirts. Just to create new or adapt new mounting points and make them fit requires much time and patience. It's endless. The wiring harness is different. The QV engine has two ECU's! My earlier list was far from complete. Engine swaps in modern cars is very complex and a QV is not just the engine. The car is very complex and sophisticated. It would be much less work to do the needed body work. As mentioned before, the carbon fiber roof is probably glued on in a specific method with a specific adhesive. It is critical that this is properly done for structural integrity of the car.
Absolutely yes! Fixing the body work is easier and simpler. Nothing is impossible but why do it the very hard way? Endless hours would be needed to tweak every little detail. Think of the infotainment system. I forgot that it has different performance info screens that’s not in the regular Giulia.
Congrats guys! Def got me inspired now! As Anakin Skywalker would say, "This is where the fun begins." 🍀🍀🍀🍀
lol 😂 trying to bring you to the dark side! This is definitely where the fun starts 😅
We're all going to enjoy this journey with y'all. Ready to see how the quadrifoglio turns out. Don't swap the engine!
Appreciate you 🙌🏽 excited to finally be building one
@@ModdedMotorsdont swap the engine x2
5k is insane dude!!!! Congratulations 🎊 🎉
$5000?!? Shesh!! The engine alone is worth that! The Tecnicos are almost that alone! Well done guys, welcome to the QV club! lol 😎👍👍
My vote is rebuild the QV. You have most of the parts to do it and you have enough 2.0 build stuff so would be great time to see QV build.
Congrats on the QV! But to remove those camo wraps try the steamer to it & if that doesn’t work then definitely the rubber wheel for the drill will remove that just be careful not to burn through the paint with it!
excited to see where this goes!
Same brother 🙌🏽

Definitely do a QV build if possible, if it isnt salvageable or isnt reasonable though dont feel like you have to
Holy shit. Congrats guys!! Super excited for this journey 🎉
Congrats! Happy that You give a Second Life to this 🍀. Now will have a Bright Future❤️👍
Love it, can't wait to see what the verdict is with the QV! Personally I'd vote to try and get it squared away and then try to flip it or something. Oh boy oh boy!
I’m excited to see the verdict on the qv as well! See what the hype is about 😅 definitely can see me flipping it!
Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing how this turns out in the end!
I didn’t forget about yours 😉 let me know when you’re ready to sell lol
The Alphamilia ❤
The #1 🫶🏼
Congratulations guys!!!!!
Yall doing great with the channel
Just bought a QV last month after piling up my 2.0. It's a hoot!
I’m in the process of doing the same thing. Can’t wait to see what yall do!!!
Congratulations you guys!! Now fix the beast with videos!! Good luck!
Heck of a project, will be cool to see what direction y'all go in.
Appreciate you brother! Definitely a project 🫠
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you guys! YOU STOLE IT!!! Well done!
i definitely vote to keep it up and fix it, these car rebuild videos are HOT right now!! plus, it's a QV, it'll be a blast when finished
NO WAAAAAAY THATS SO COOL HECK YEAH !!! I can’t wait to see what you guys do w that lol
This is a fun project - way to go!
Congratulations yall made it happen 🫡
The leather dash is known to shrink if the car was from a humid, hot climate, like Florida or Texas.
Rebuild this and build the honda swapped one. I would like to see a comparison 😊
Would be amazing to see! Can’t wait to see both done!
Go Go Ricky! With the Quadrifoglio 😂🤌🙏
Congrats bro 😎excited if you make it happen but if not you can always sell the parts to me lol
You should definitely build the QV
I can’t wait to see how this pans out!
Also don’t swap the engines 🤗
that's a hell of a project.. what's all the yellow stuff all over the body?
Congratulations guys
Oh boy this will be fun!
Hey congrats! The engine alone sells for 6-10k. Whole car, even rough, for $5 is a hell of a deal
qv rebuild plz
congrats! $5000, this is a SAVAGE TITLE QV. Very difficult to sell salvage title cars. Good luck.

Whoa … lots of expensive work

I like to watch ypur channel. You're kind and funny and a cute (Alfa) family. I wish be your neighbour
That roof is going to be your biggest and hardest job. Might be better to swap all the qv parts onto your donor car.
5k for the QV is insane! Should swap the engine over into the GTAm rep car... 🤔

Nothing wrong with the 2.0 🙌🏽 still swear by them till I die! But $29k is super low for the quads

Very sad to said I ordered a 2024 Alfa Romeo quadrifoglio in GA they returned all my money and also said they don’t make them no more 😢😢😢
400 hp out the 2.0?.... OMG....can you help me with that?
🔥
🙌🏽🔥
Excitement overload. Lol
lol 😂 same here , really excited to see the hype
Congrats Let's Fuxking Go
Rebuild the quadrifoglio....
Easily over 30K in parts. I hope I'm wrong
That’s the hope 😅🙌🏽 would be good to strip!
Salvage title?
Steal 🔥
heat gun won't take that wrap off? congrats on the QV!
Heat gun won’t work 😭 so not sure what else to use
