I have one in Florida. Cleans air in my house and helps with my allergies. I use it in my bedroom. They have a larger model I’m going to buy for the family room. I also have one of their large room humidifiers .
Living in Florida sucks for anyone with allergies. Talking from experience :( I went to Cali on holiday and never ever sneezed ONCE while over there. Shame :(
@@TechReviewsTV well yes . I’ve been tested . I’m allergic to plants and animals and foods . That’s a generic answer for you but it’s to much to go into . As for allergies associated with airborne substances that my filtration systems were bought for they help me a lot indoors .
@@techforever1970 they have eucalyptus trees, a lot of dust there are allergens there if you were on the beach, no and that’s the same in Florida but if you go more inland, the allergens are there I was as bad in California as I am in Florida. The worst that I found personally has been North Carolina.
We've had this model for about a year & a half & after like 9 months, my husband actually did do the "Fart Test". Lol The particle count went way up for a few seconds & then went right back down
Great video. I'm considering the Levoit LV-H134, which I'm seeing for the same price as the Core 600S, but the LV-H134 has a bit of a narrower build to it. Do you know if one is clearly better than the other?
How about the motor voice on sleep mode ? in general, Do you hear any kind of Whistling noises, or something like that? Not talking about the fan noise..
It sounds almost as if it were turned off completely, you would need to sit there and listen to it very carefully in a super quiet room in order to hear it. Even when sleeping you won’t hear it
@@TechReviewsTV thanks for your reply, but can you please answer my question about the motor noise? Because it’s a very common issue, in the 300s,400s so if I go for the 600s I want to be sure I’m not gonna return it because this issue.
Nice review, great information! How is the dust around your house? I'm not expecting this to eliminate the need to dust, but I'm hoping it cuts it down significantly. Does it?
Dust accumulates rather quickly within my house this does make it so none of that is being breathed in. All in all I still like mine I’m going to have to buy a new filter soon however roughly a year life expectancy
What I used to do when I had neighbors that did meth above us is put laundry softeners on all of the vents so you don’t get any of the odors inside. And then you pair it with one of these and it’ll get rid of it completely
In the long run it’s gonna cost more to replace the 3 filters, they essentially have the same performance. If you need an allergy filter that have some for levoit specific to pets, odors, and other toxins. I’ve heard the sensor on that model is hit or miss. The levoit sensor is still going strong with my unit and I haven’t cleaned it yet. Will be making my 1 year review and will try to get the air mega 400s to do a comparison of for you
@@TechReviewsTV I already had my Airmega 1 year now and it’s actually doing it’s job cleaning the air and my son allergic has significantly reduced but now I started notice a wired smell comes from the hepa filter not sure why I might didn’t dry out my pre filter good enough might be the case, but now I placed an order for the 600s Levoit and will give it a try also my concern is the sensor on these machine how can you really wipe it down like I do on the Airmega ? It look like it’s hard to get it 100% clean because its hiding That’s my only issue !!
@@CostantineYoussif I have tried doing a deep clean on it yet, that’s gonna be one of the things I put in my 1 year review. Hopefully it’s not too bad either a brush or a air compressor/ vacuum most likely to be cleaned outside or in a controlled environment
Love the video. Bro on diff note, if there are fires all the time. Maybe spend money on moving away from them instead of dealing with them. Might be a better life plan. R.I.P Cali
You should not use the auto setting and instead keep it running 24/7 the point is to prevent the contamination instead of waiting for it to happen before the machine turns on.

Does the 2nd speed level move a lot of air and is that level noisy?

Thank you so much
If you fart next to it, does it detect and spin up?

I have this one as well, and agree with everything you said! It's been worth every penny!
How is this with dust control?
Great review! Thank you! But Levoit says good for up to 3175 sf. You state 1600. A little confused

The Core 600S is better b/c it's newer, and has better technology. The 600S has wifi and smart features, while the LV-H134 does not.

Doesn’t make any motor noise for me
Do you know how many watts it pulls on fan levels 2 and 3? Your video seems to only show power consumption on low and high. Thanks!
I believe around 20w on 3rd setting I’ll double check
Is it loud on the 2nd speed level for a bedroom.
Not loud whatsoever even after a year the only noticeable noise is the max mode
@Eli Euley awesome!!! Thank you so much!! Think I may buy it. I bought the levoit vital 200s and the fan power isn't great.
How do you clean fan on top ? I am sure after a year or so fan will get dirty.
Yes you can use a vacuum also, I’m going to be doing my 1 year review this month
do the led lights on top shut off for night time?
Yes, but you can also change it to always on if needed
@@TechReviewsTV awesome. I picked up 2 and love them

Not sure tbh, they should be but not 100% certain
