This unit cured me of being sick for months. Sort of...I suspected bad air quality so I bought this and I was right. This thing shot to the red when I first plugged it in and showed over 250 on air quality. I couldn't get it below about 70 after running for a few hours. I went to clean my humidifiers and while I was cleaning them, I noticed my unit started reading 5 and under. I threw my humidifiers away and I'm reading 1 almost all the time now. I'll never use anything other than steam type humidifying now.
Eli you need a 100psi air compressor and blow it out from the I side. Those little vacuums don't have enough cajones to get the job done. You are right though you will hit a point where it needs swapped but you'll get a few more uses out of one filter
Lol my Winx turns orange and red on farts. When people are over and it turns color I know lol. It just died and I got the levoit vital 200s but it doesn't move air on level 2 like the winix did. Looking at this now.
i clean mine with a shop vac, and it works sooo much better then that rinky-dink toy you got there. clean it about every 6 weeks, takes about 1 minute, and looks new everytime.
Thanks for the review 🥰 I bought it today but its working all day and isn’t going below 10. Is that ok when it comes to air quality? Where can i see a chart or something? 😅 Thanks in advance!
Great video! What was the filter percentage left by the 12 months? If you vacuum the filter does this extend the filter life on the machine? Can you explain more about filters made for smoke and vocs? Is it Levoit branded for 600s? Do you think a better model will be released anytime soon or any other brand bringing in similar competition?
After 6 months each time it said to replace it. And yes it helps it perform better since the first layer won’t be covered. And yes I think their will be more to offer later this year. Not sure when but I’ll most likely be able to review one if I can find one better than this. Also the different filter types are to help the larger particles and or smaller ones so if you’re allergic it’ll help out more
More than enough would help, whenever smoke is involved this purifies it really quickly. I’d recommend to keep it on the fourth mode whenever you cook especially.
My neighbors used meth so i put fabric softners in vents 😂😂😂. High class apartments right there buddy. I think the last thing you need is an air purifier.
Does this work for mold? I’ve seen no claims that it does from the company like on other air purifiers its usually on there box instruction manual or on description on web sites but I’ve not seen Levoit claimed it works for mold
How well do the filter after awhile. I heard once the filter wears on these they don't filter well. And don't even clean the air as well for pm2.5 and etc.
I have mine for about 6 months filter at about 30 percent I vacuum it every 30 days and the filter looks new maybe mine is defective? It sounds fine does have some fan power
Pro tip, do not vacum your filters. the pressure of a vacum is enough to destroy the filter weave and makes it leak particles. If you want more filter life, add a pre-filter, or wrap some microfibre toweling around the unit, a sheet of microfibre is 100x cheaper than a new filter, and will extend the life at-least 50% in most cases by stopping debris from clogging the filter media and preventing active carbon reactions.

Yeah, ultrasonic humidifiers put a fine mineral dust into the air that clogs all your filters. Steam is the way to go.

I’ll get one, your comment will be in the next video for this topic

@@user-lu3yn7sf7k yeah that’s a good rating still, the ring on top will tell you in colors if it’s good or bad
will my 35sq.m. room be almost dustless if I use this?
Did you use vaccume to clean the purifier

@@TechReviewsTV what percentage did you have on the display after 12 months? Thanks so much!
0% each time, the filter is set to be replaced every 6 months by the manufacturer but you can push it to a year max
lamp color for levoit review pleace ?.
I’m not sure what you mean
What brand and model is that vacuum cleaner????

This one?
@@TechReviewsTV Yes. Thank u!
does it humidify the air? tnx
No this is just an air purification solution you’d need a 2 in 1 or a separate humidifier
@@TechReviewsTV That`s what i want, tnx for reply. Do you find your room with less dust, after using the 600s?
When u sprayed it to make spin quieter was that wd 40
you should use electrical motor oil not wD40. WD40 is a terrible lubricant.
Yeah I didn’t use lubricants in this video I don’t think and if I did it was probably dielectric grease
Eli, I have a pellet stove (wood burning) do you think would work for that???

Yeah most hepa 13 helps get rid of mold airborne particles
The 3 green light rings stay on at 66 ppm it doesn’t change ? Any answers
Can this remove dangerous particles that come from burning incense and candles?
Yes
@@TechReviewsTV That's great! thank you
Do you have pets? Looking to get this to help with dog hair and smell. What do you think?
This is great for pets
How did you put the led inside?
I took out the filter and put a video light in there 👍 nice to see you returning

I’d say about a year longer, it depends on what mode you keep it in and the air condition where you live
What was your speed settings?
Normally just kept it on auto

Please is it possible to connect 16ft to 50ft govee rgbic led strip?
Only within the app you can group them
@@TechReviewsTV what about the power supply?

Your supposed to hoover them about every 1-3 months to maintain quality of the filter and air lol

@gregs8678 lol fr adding a pre filter on an existing pre filter is mind boggling 💀 just vacuum and don’t be lazy

do you can translate to bahasa this video?

heh wtf. full of s
Is it normal for dust to collect inside the fan?
the fan and air outlet stay really clean. a bit of dust does collect on/around the inlet holes before the filter.
RGB? How?
It was just for looks i had to remove the filter and add a light in that spot.
