What a beautiful job bringing your tractor back to factory new conditions. I love your attention to detail. Job well done you'll get many more years of service out of the old girl.
Perfect start to a Monday she's looking as shiny as a new penny!!! Thanks pete!!
Wow, my wife and I both love watching your show. You did such a great job. I’ve always wanted a red tractor after the first time. I drove one at 10 years old in Saskatchewan Canada now I drive one when we work with the kids in the townships, and it’s a C just like the one you did.
Hi Pete, I know that it's a lot of work doing resto work on these old tractors but to me watching you working on this venture is very fascinating and i'm sure rewarding to you. these day the tractors and the quality of the build, will bring a high value to any one that you redo. Great job.
This is not a simple restoration. This is a complete rebuild which brings this beauty back to better than new. Stunning. Love the detail and time.. time, time, time.. and more time. This is a labor of love. Thank you!
She's looking beautiful 🤩 "vroom, vroom" 🤣
The tractor looks fantastic. Definitely ready for a spring parade thru a small town pulling that newly painted hay wagon. As always, Great job Pete
We enjoy your enthusiasm and detailed explanations in these restoration projects. An added benefit for us lazy people, you do all the research and boil down the interesting applicable historical bits into a concisely scripted format that fits within the video timeline. Nicely done on many levels. 👍 Perhaps one day your kids will realize what a treasure these videos will be in the future. 👍
I wish his son was there with him learning.
These old tractors aren’t filled with the computer technology of today’s machines but they sure had a lot of parts to make them do the different things the farmer needed to do their work.
I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about with these different components, but it’s still interesting watching you assemble and restore these old machines that built and fed America so many decades ago.
This is very much not an app on your iPhone. How fortunate some of us are to have and remember those implements of "old". The people of "old" got it done. These red tractors show respect to our heritage. The work ethic, values and requirements of those days probably encourage the homestead longings of today.
My wife and I have loved this build. Today I made a comment to her that even though this is a 99% labor project. It still wasn't cheap.
My wife put it into perspective and said, "still cheaper than a new one". Anyways, thanks for sharing Pete.
Oh Pete!
What a masterful tractor reassembly in this video. I really enjoyed learning about the assembly by functional groups step-by-step. I am now catching the bug for these tractors!!!❤❤❤
“It’s a bute Clark,” as they would say on National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation! I’m amazed and humbled by your skills and dedication to the craft
The. Tractor looks fine it will almost be better than new
She is beautiful!!! What a great job in restoring her.
@tele-gram_on_HilarieLarson Hi Hilarie. Thank you for choosing me. I have been a subscriber for a long time. I am a big fan of both of you. You all are great.
You're doing such an awesome job, I think I will bring my 67 SS Chevelle to you. I bought it in 1970, drove it while in high school. Parked it around 74. It sat in New Mexico for 30 years before I decided it was time to restore it. Brought it to Houston and got it torn completely apart. After a few years, I got the frame and suspension brand new, got the underside looking better than factory and then had to put the body back on the frame due to divorce. It sat in storage for another 15 years and my new wife said it was time to finish it. Got it back to my shop and didn't get much done before hurricane Harvey flooded our house and we lost nearly everything we owned. I did get the mud washed out of the body and most every where else but it did ruin the engine. It has been sitting at my son's house now for another 6 years while I have been rebuilding my house... And that is why I think I should get someone else to finish it if I ever expect to get a chance to drive it again...
Talk about job security. Architect, farmer, master mechanic. You'll never be out of work Pete.
Why did Captian Odvious rebuild his Farmall.....To relive his Childhood.....Vooom Vroom Mmmm Mmmm
OOppss Reverse...Thanks Pete for the great laught and how much you remind me of me!
Great Job. The hitch looks like a real finger trapping apparatus when you where putting it back together
What a great way to start my day! coffee cup in hand, and a long awaited video of the Super C. Man she's looking great Pete.! you have the patience of a Saint. there were a lot of $!@$@ moments there and we did not hear them! good control (on camera anyway ha ha) thank you so much for taking the time to make these video's for us old folk this one does enjoy them immensely Happy New Year Pete to you Hillary and the family. ECF. .
100 YEARS Farmall 1923 - 2023
“You go here”, “This thingy goes there”, “Common now, you know you belong here”. Love it!
Happy New Year to you and the family. Thank you for many happy hours of watching.
Great job Pete, vroom vroom
Great way to start off the year off work, ice fishing and just a few acres farm in the morning with some coffee!!!!
The Super C is coming along great. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season.
The tractor is looking great! I appreciate all the hard work you're putting in.
This tractor has turned out beautiful. You should be proud. Don’t know how many of the past owners would love to see it today.
I was so hoping you started the tractor... lol I’m excited can’t wait . Great job ! Just a beautiful tractor
You are such an inspiration. And it goes without saying how clever you are.thank you for all the content you do for us.i really appreciate it.take care my mate.
You do a hell of a job on these restorations. I love the attention to all the little details others skip sometimes. It really makes a difference in the end.
Awesome restoration! I do agree that the narrow front is so timeless on these old Farmalls, but I sure do love a wide front. I think I like the wide front just because they were very rare when I grew up and seeing one was a treat. I know you will keep the wide front safe. Thanks for the videos!
Your doing an excellent job restoring history! Happy New Years!
Beautiful workmanship. My son will likely start on the A I bought him over a year ago. His current project is a Deere 350 sickle bae. Great to see him work through his struggles
There is something therapeutic about watching you work on the tractors.
Thanks Pete. She looks like she just rolled off the assembly line. She's beautiful.
It has to be very satisfying to see the Super C almost ready to go back to work. Great restoration job and good education along the way! Thanks, Pete.
You were doing a marvelous job Pete on this tractor and it is really looking beautiful❣️♥️♥️
Bar none, you are one of the best restoration video producers on UA-cam. I am now looking for an A to tinker with because of you. Fantastic.
I've got my eye out for a Super A or 140.
Great video Pete, and great job. That Super C looks like new, couldn’t tell that it was reconditioned. Have a great day!
Super C is looking super awesome Pete. Great video. Looking forward to hearing it fire up.
I usually don't commit love just watching but I have to say you show is inspirational to watch. Of course love the tractors you do a wonderful job on them and very educational. You and your family has inspired me to try and bring my fathers farm back to life keep it up from a little ole Campton Ky a small town in Eastern Kentucky. Take care.
Great job. I can’t believe the complexity of the hitch. Must have been designed by a engineer trying for a promotion 😊
As always Pete a great video. Your going to have the best looking tractor fleet in the area
Pete, great work restoring the tractor. I only have three words to sum it all up : Museum. Quality. Work. 👍🏻👍🏻🚜
Wow it looks spanking new is looking beautiful 😍❤️
You have a new old stock tractor ...
It will last another lifetime ..
Pretty amazing.
She's lookin mighty fine Pete!!!
The care & time you put into restoring your tractors show love. Agree that folks that folks that criticize your live stock videos do not realize if not for food you would not put the time & $ into feeling them. They are not pets but commodity’s
Just keep doing what you’re doing Pete! Don’t worry about the Haters. You are doing a great job of educating UA-camrs on what goes on on a small farm in upstate New York. A big hello from South Texas!
As usual a great job Pete! I love watching these videos, they give a person the perspective of the tractor and the effort that it takes to keep them up in good operating condition. I am going to attempt to do some restoration on my 1963 Massey Ferguson 65. I won't do a full restoration, like you, but I am going to try and get it running. Looks great, thanks for sharing, have a nice day!
You peaked my curiosity.
I had never seen a pulley safety shield.
There was a Super C on the farm south of us.
In fact I bid on it at a retirement auction.
Thank you Pete.
Pete! what a pleasure it has been watching you restore that wonderful old tractor and thanks for taking us along.
The satisfaction that one gets by doing it yourself is gold! Great job Pete!
I am just speechless...Pete.. your Super C is a thing of beauty.
LOL!😂 I do not know why I found it so funny when Pete put the “coups de grâce” of the lever knob on and said he didn’t know they had knobs till he started restoring tractors, all the tractors he ever used never had one on it!😂😂😂. I was driving in my truck listening and almost had to pull over I was laughing so much! 😂🤣😂🤣😂😅🥹That’s comedy folks, and that dad humor is just one of many reasons I love Pete, his family, farm, and all his amazing animals. Keep up the good work Pete, look forward to the next episode 🎉
This is a very hard thing to do consistently and you are very self disciplined. Good Job!
Thank you for all of these. Wonderful videos! Man she is looking brand new!
Always a pleasure and a joy to watch the Super C rebuild. An excellent re-build of a vital part of farming history
Hi Pete & family. Happy New Year! Just took a Google street view near my house. But not sure how to upload. Address is 166 West Rocks Rd., Norwalk CT. At one time all this property was farmland. All developed after WW2 into homes. But the photo shows the original farmhouse and the Farmall tractor. Can’t wait for the Super C to run. 👍
I was overwhelmed at first but it is looking so good! So many parts and amount of work that you make it look easy. Thank you Pete and Hillary!💖
I'm an ole Ky guy 85 yrs old. I love the tractor video's.
It looks like new. I can imagine the farmer going to the showroom 70 years ago and deciding this was the one they needed.
Thank you Pete for that smile you gave me at 20:35 - "vroom... mmmm... whooops, reverse!"
Enjoyed the video Pete, even though I know nothing about tractors. It looks like new. Will be nice to see and hear in running!
And my favorite: vroom, room, room, oops reverse!
Great restoration Pete!
Man! This video makes me appreciate the 3 point on my N- series Fords!
Hey Pete! Thoroughly enjoying the Super C restoration. On the last video can you do a little before and after action? You’ve put in so much effort be nice to look at where you started as a reminder. Just a thought. Great content!
I grew up learning to drive on a Farmall C. One of my favorite tractors, still remember the first time driving it! It looks amazing, Pete!
Pete, thank you for doing these restoration videos. I really enjoy them! I'm painting a 1086 this winter and watching your Super C project really helps keep me motivated.
You have to have a extreme sense of pride for the work you have done on this tractor!
Awesome video as always Pete, you sure got that C looking better then factory. It's been very interesting watching you go through all the steps and the amount of detail you do.
Great job on all the hitch parts! After seeing that design, I'm very glad that 3 point hitch became the standard.
I am amazed the amount of engineering in that one tractor. Imagine what that tractor would cost new today.
Pete you should get a hard line bending tool. That eases the way in making new fuel and breaklines. It should not be very expensive. I got one and it helped me a lot in getting the right bends. Before that i used a wooden towl to bend. That hitch is very complicated for its day when they made these. Also the PTO cover on the old Belarus 500 that i have worked with are 90% of the time missing or a mangled lump of steel. Rarely see on still in a good shape.
The super c is starting to look like royalty!
Your commitment to doing it right and not taking shortcuts is both impressive and inspiring. Your Super C will age as if it were a new tractor, and I always look forward to seeing your new videos and progress.
Best line ever; I didn’t know they came with knobs. I couldn’t stop laughing. Thanks Pete!
You do a remarkable job on the restoration of this tractor! Certainly a "How to Guide" for anyone undertaking a restoration. You are one fine teacher! Best wishes.
Pete, I'm amazed at your mechanical skill and patience. Good job.
"VROOM, VROOM.....your a kid after my own heart!
That hitch must be part of the Rube Goldberg option package !
Anyway been loving your offerings both action or commentary for quite some time now . God bless and Happy New Year to you all !
That's a lot of doo-dads Mr. Pete. When I have to work on a very heavy pump, I pull out my assortment of cut 4x4 wood pieces. They help a lot when you need to support a heavy piece of whatever so you can get pins or bolts installed and you're doing it by yourself. Saved me from getting a sore back! And The Super C is looking Super! I can hardly wait to hear you start it up.
😅laughed so hard!! Making tractor noises 🤣🤣🤣🤣 what a great job. You truly work very hard on your restorations wow just wow
I don't know if I love these old tractors or if I just love watching you restore them. Thanks so much for the video. Hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year.
Honestly, I didn't think I'd be interested in this rebuild/restore series at all... I was wrong. I've really enjoyed watching you work on this tractor along with the commentary you provide. It's been very informative.
I can only imagine the pride you must be feeling. Simply amazing - You made it feel like my own.....
You do such great work! Seeing the Super C brings back many fond memories of growing up driving ours. Cultivating corn with a two row cultivator on a hot sunny afternoon and falling asleep, taught me a lesson I will never forget!
Gee wiz, Pete! I’ve watched again and this tractor, I must say, looks brand new. Well done, sir.
So far the tractor is really looking good! I enjoy some of the terminology for parts - (eg) "do-hickey" LOL!! 😆
o.k. Pete...the quote of this video is "I didn't even know they CAME with knobs..." Yer a hoot!
Gonna need a new tube of grease to get everything back up to snuff once all those purdy red pieces are in place. Lookin' mighty fine there Pete, mighty fine.
Great work Pete can't wait to see it back to work in the field!!..
Looks great, can’t wait to hear it run
She's a beauty, Pete.
I can't wait to see it finished, you did a outstanding job!!!!
That SUPER C sure does look sharp !You do a proper 100 point restoration on your tractors, it looks like it came off the assembly line back in the day!
Oh that hitch!!! Looking good!
This is great, I enjoy seeing you work on restoring your tractors, I try going back on your videos to see the before and after to see all that you have done, it’s awesome to see the difference, Thank you
I love your restored Farmalls. My grandfather had an M in the early 50s, from the 40s? but I don't know what year. He did have a set of rusty steel wheels leaning up against the tractor shed. Dad said they were originally for the Farmall. He remembered them as a teen (30s).
I remember driving the Farmall as a six year old in 1951picking up hay bales with my grandfather and dad picking the bales up and throwing them up to my uncle Jimmy on the wagon. I barely could reach the pedals, so when one of them shouted "whoa" I kicked the clutch in (I couldn't reach the brakes and clutch simultaneously).
My grandfather died the next spring. Whenever I see a Farmall M I remember "driving " the M that summer as a six year old. Thanks for the memories, Pete.
Looks fresh off the showroom floor. That hitch took some engineering back in the day.
