Nicely comprehensive review, as always! What is the uptake rate on the M240i in the UK? I'd imagine it might be stronger over here in Canada and USA. Well, maybe with rising petrol costs that will change.

Thanks for the review! Given the price of fuel at the moment it’s a shame they haven’t released a 218i 1.5l, as that’s what I drive currently in the previous model. Do you know if BMW have any plans to release that model in this new version?
I don't believe there are currently any plans to bring out a 218i.
I drive the same. The 3 cylinder didn't turned out to be fuel efficient. The current 318I is a 4 cylinder I believe. So you can forget about it

no one likes the back that should tell BMW to fix it, it looks like a toy. I got one though in Purple I love it all around and the price its a really good deal.

Black is the best colour
Strangely for this day and age, l rather prefer the 220d verses the 220i. Just look at the difference in torque output. A real hill climber without having to rev the balls off it. It's fuel consumption for this type of car is near miraculous.

Every review G42 Coupe has micro scratches and swirls. Is the paint really that shit or were the cars abused?
Something about the grill doesn't look right.
I prefer the older model for looks.
Ugly rear. Mediocre front and usual side profile.
