Your Call Is Very Important To Us... | Call Center Tycoon

- Call Center Tycoon puts us in charge of a somewhat bustling call center and asks us to make a profit while putting customers on hold. It's a delicate balancing act of taking calls and making sure our employees don't freak out. Good thing we bought them a microwave for the break room.

Every action costs you time (a turn). You make the decision, do you hire more workers?
Each worker will have traits that can either complement or clash with others.
Employees will also form friendships that can lead to something more. Or maybe they'll just hate each other's guts?
Each interaction affects their stress levels. Higher the stress the less productive they are.
How about firing the underperforming employee?
People will react to firings too, sometimes it can be the catalyst to make a profit
But firing a beloved employee can have negative consequences
Or maybe tell your top performer to take a break before they have a breakdown?
Or try to poach a new customer from one of your competitors
The key is in balancing your actions to get the best out of your employees, fail here and everything will fall apart - Ігри
Dev here, this was hilarious to watch. First with Peter and the custodian, then chuck and his breaks!
A couple of points..
- employees work on their own if they're not seeking happiness, the get back to work button is when you want the employee to ignore their stress and work instead.
- the play button can be used to move to the next block of time not just the next day.
- what resolution are you playing on btw I noticed some text spillage and I would love to fix that and test.
Thank you so much for giving this a try. I'm working on some big updates such as the scam call center scenario and even takeovers.
Ah, that makes more sense. I think I have the demo and was going to give it a shot, but the explanations looked a bit lacking when I first fired it up so I shut it down. This clears it up.
@@portiapendragon thanks Portia! I definitely need to work on the onboarding experience, I might have to prioritize that over some of the scenarios I was working on currently
Seems just as confusing and stressful as an actual call center job 😂
Agreed
Definitely agree on this one.
nobody "asks for raises" anymore-no longer part of corporate culture. Here's my real life experience:
You self evaluate yourself on aspects of your job on a 1-5 scale. Your supervisor also does. Based on the average score you get some % raise. The battle is for a maximum 2% raise. I rated myself all 5s, and they sent it back saying "no one is a robot, you can't give yourself all 5s"- Excuse me, I have to do the captcha thing every day for my job. I've proven I'm not a robot quite aptly. Anyway I got a 1.1% raise in the end.
Beware of any workplace that says you're family. No. My family is my family.
Agreed
Would it be too tongue in cheek to include this line? I'm about to add a feature where you can have a "talk" with the employee
"Mina in account speaking just a moment"
We value your call
Look at this absolute luxury workplaces.
They could lay down on they desk and still had space for they keyboards.😮
I never had a cubicle that big
I work from home, but still call center related. This game is to much like reality
and..I'm taking the headset and running!
That's company property!
No no, no no no.
I need the game where I'm that first guy with major debts, who pawns all the work off to you. That's the game I need.
That would be a very short, but very good game
I worked in a call center for one whole day. Thanked my boss as I was leaving and said I wouldn't be back. He said I'd done better than half of the new hires, who went to the bathroom and didn't return. 🤣😅
It just destroys your soul
Ooh, this is making me glad I never took that call center job...
Be very glad
Glad I never did call center work. Can I take the headset with me when the company goes bust?
No. That's company property. We need to sell that to settle our debts
😂😂😂😂😥😥 funny cos it's true...
I’m not sure I really understood that.
That makes two of us
