Thanks for making a video about my game! It means a lot to me :)
I've never seen that many bees before! I might have to fix that lag issue...
That fact that the game lagged that hard without crashing is impressive. Fair play
cool game bro, we need more chill games like this. btw are you by any chance inspired by thin matrix? because I enjoy watching his vlogs and this game reminds me of his game equilinox
Do you have any thoughts on making it connect to a riparian system? A swamp, lake, coastal, and or marine ecosystem.
Inspired by SimPark (1996)? Excellent game, kind of inspires me to make something similar, but maybe slightly more automated and 2D like Sim park :)
i would suggest putting a clicking cooldown on the actions, even if it's just like 1-2s for each animal/hive/etc., that should prevent "autoclick-abuse" and probably save some people from getting insane because they spam-click everything for fast bp
On the size of mooses, I have heard the following guideline to determining how big they are: however big you think a moose is, double it.
Seems videos of them walking in Canada, they're like, I dunno, much bigger than a horse.
@@Deathraven693 taller than a buffalo as well
okay thats much bigger than o thought it was wtf. i thought i over exaggerated it in mind @@Deathraven693
I’ve never actually seen a live moose but there is the skeleton of one in a field where I live and I can attest that just the back leg come up to my chest. It’s also really heavy
I’ve seen a couple of them in person they are big. But one time I walked very close to one and I didn’t even notice it was there.
Hey RCE regarding Moose,
I explained Moose to an international student, "It was a young moose, so only the size of a horse"
If you hit a deer with your car, your car has a dent in it and the deer is spread all over it and the road.
If you hit a moose with your car, your car is totalled, you go to the hospital or the morgue, and the moose gets up and walks away (many still die afterwards of internal injuries though).
@@raznaakI think I might have responded to you on another comment but either way I have seen cars and trucks after collisions with deer and they are totaled after it but you probably won't have to go to the hospital.
@@raznaak The biggest difference between the two is that when you hit a deer your front end hits their torso, but when you hit a moose your front end just takes out their legs and their torso lands on your windshield.
Moose are enormous, very dangerous, and agressive. They can grow to be over 2m tall and weigh 700+Kg; they can also run over 50km/hr.
This does not stop people from coming to Canada for Moose cuddles ... it rarely goes well.
And they run at that speed in a thicket you can't even see thru
As a Canadian, can confirm, was shocked when Matt said he thought Moose were the size of deer.
If you hit a deer with your car, your car has a dent in it and the deer is spread all over it and the road.

For people (like me) who don't live in Canada, just remember they are bigger than horses.
Moose can literally derail trains. Yes, they are absolutely That Big.
"How high can the squirrel get?" - depends on the substances, I guess...
"when there is a breaking bad joke to do don't do it

-sun tzu
"If you're a user you probably turn into a squirrel to be able to consume small amounts but buy for bumans"
@user-nf8ho4gi7m u gt me rolling on the floor, out the door and down the road😂😂😂
hahahahhaa
Have you seen Over the Hedge?
9:51 I think this is the first time I've heard the phrase "there's ants everywhere! This is cool!"
You need to make a few more Entymologist friends!
Yeah, here the rainy season started and we have ants everywhere, not saying cool.
@@Qlmmb2086 Do I though?
@@slappysloth7987 yes you do, ants are sick
Yes Matt, moose are that big. They're actually even bigger.
Moose are GINORMOUS.
They're okay
if you include antlers, a fully grown moose is 10 feet tall, they're terrifying
@@jonaut5705 Your mom is terrifying.
Yes Matt Tree roots touch each other
Yes they also stay pretty close to the ground and not go that deep as shown in the game
Depends on the tree. Roots can go pretty far down if you have a deep rooting tree. Birches tho, not so much.
I live on a faram where I have planted many trees. The "WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ANIMALS THAT EAT BABY TREES" complaint is a whole ass mood
I think it depends on the tree. I know beeches are famous for murdering anything that isn’t a beech, that’s why the only thing that grows under a beech is a son of a beech. That was one of my mom’s jokes.
But with most trees it isn’t the roots it’s the shade cast by the leaves.
The answer to "do bears poo in the woods ?" Will never be answered 😂
I enjoyed watching you spread your seed with the assistance of various animals.
I got to 2:25 in the video before immediately pausing, looking to see if the game was purchasable on steam, and then downloading and playing the demo in freeplay until I had all the plants and animals with autopooping. I'm not even going to finish watching the video, I am sold.
7 lynxes staring at someone through a window sounds like a Rimworld art piece description
Hi, Canadian here, yes moose are MUCH larger and MUCH angrier than Deer. If you want to see how large they can get look up moose from Alaska, they get massive
0:14 finally Beaver power oh wait wrong game
I can confirm pine kinda grows through winter and doesn't lose the needles during fall... spring is beautiful with the new lime green ones on the tips, so cute, but a nightmare after the old ones fall and die... 1000s of leaves vs 10000s maybe 100000s with a yard full. I love Washington (this why we called evergreen: pine, and all its cousins) but the needles get everywhere
theres a channel called "Real Civil Engineer Game" and im pretty sure theyre stealing you videos
Matt is like one of those youtubers that does things in the weirdest way you ever can do in a Video Game and still made it look easy.
"Oh no my hand-eye coordination, WHY AM I TOO OLD"
Me externally: HAHAHAHA funny
Me internally: .... this is my reality
I don't get it. Source: Now old and still do fine in competitive FPS. It's just a skill issue.
"Moose the size of deer" lol. Those thing can destroy some cars if hit on the highway.
Moose are HUGE! The last of the megafauna.
Uhh, elephants and giraffes? Or do you specifically mean North American mega fauna?
Technically speaking we humans count as megafauna. The threshold is surprisingly low, actually, above 45kg/99lb for the average adult size is enough to count. Some experts put it higher at 100kg or even 1000, but others still lower it to 10kg. The vast, VAST majority of lifeforms on Earth are safely below that threshold.
My daughter and I were driving through a marshy area in central Ontario, when she said to me, "Daddy, why is there a horse in the swamp?"
Moose are BIG.
Moose are incredible, but in day to day life they're a bit of a menace - they're territorial and aggressive, the *average* male is over 800 pounds, and they're built in such a way that if you hit them with your car their body falls directly on the car's occupants.
Only for small cars.
That is very much a correct size for a moose. They are basically the elephant of northern forest. Even a grizzly bear is smaller.
Yes Matt, it really does need 2 ant hills to make more anthills, since new ant queens need to mate make more ant hills
17:15 Moose are indeed HUGE. They are taller than people, and their antlers can grow as large as a white water kayak.
Nice video Matt, though could you consider doing that math game again? I really liked that video!
Same
Matt, for reference if youre driving a semi truck and you hit a moose, the semi driver is likely to not be okay after
The semi driver is going to be perfectly fine, with his vehicle barely damage. The moose will also likely walk away, although it may die of internal injuries later. This happens all the time.
@lyrlwestrum3971 what? Even older semis made our of only metal still need major repairs after hitting a moose
I really love when you play these indie games and show what absolute gems they are. Definitely downloading the demo for deer poop-nados.
The fact that these are the only games that actually entertain me and RCE, means that we’re all brainrot
Trees irl will strangle each others roots if theres a resource shortage, that said they and other plants will share excess resource if the roots grow down into a mycelium patch.
Somewhere I watched or read that trees can and will share resources through roots. I think they also use fungi "highways" which keep some of the resources but I'm not sure about this and the exact way the it works.
To answer your question: Yes mooses, meese, whatever they are called, are giant. The thing you might think about are elks, they are kinda the same but smaller.
A man who knows the difference between a mouse and a vole is shrewd man.
How many BPs before you get an oil spill? Surely it's just one.
The inaccurate root growth is painful to look at. That's not how tree roots look under the soil, they're more like a carpet because they need to be able to breathe. The root that does reach deep are tap roots or anchor roots. If normal roots grow like that, they will suffucate.
How do you think tree roots were able to function as frame for the soil if not by growing close to the surface?
Poo, dropping your seed and Bee Pee?! Matts in heaven
That whole video had a very "Let's game it out" vibe in the best way possible
Oh Matt, you need to get outside more. Moose are the tank version of deer.
When driving and a deer is in the road it’s better to hit the deer than to swerve off the road. However, when driving and a moose is in the road it’s better to swerve off the road than to hit the moose. The moose is tall enough that some pickup trucks are shorter than the moose.
Figured I would let you know it does actually take more than one colony of ants to reproduce. Most ants that you see are female, the only time they are not is if they have wings during breeding season and the queens mate with as many males as possible so they birth ants all their life. There is only a few types of ants that don't do this and they are rare.
some weird things he said this vid:
it's so hard...12:47
they touch each other's tips... 2:22
spread your seed everywhere... 2:32
how high can the squirrel get... 1:31
RCE is becoming a serious PooTuber.
Starting with the Timberborn poonami, poocano and now building a poocosystem
BP=Bridge Points
22:15 You need two anthills because all ants in one colony are related.
Technically speaking, that moose is probably a little SMALLER than they are IRL. Real moose are ENORMOUS. Just look up some photos of em.
Please make more of this game
Trees in the same family with recognize each others roots and avoid competing in the same soil for water (or will share those resources). Unrelated trees dgaf and will comingle roots and grow at the others expense (or compete for those resources).
Him thinking moose are similar size to deer is the most non-Canadian thing ever. Yes they're that big, bigger actually, and yes, they're terrifying, and count as megafauna
Moose are indeed that much bigger than a deer. They're quite scary when they get mad
Plants DO share resources with each other, though mostly to their own families.
That previous thumbnail was wild.
Matt should make a remix of a song with the premise around "robbing the squirrels"
I believe there was a moose who stood eye level with a semi trucker's window
Oh wow no saves one crash and everything is lost. The devs need to fix that asap if they want anyone to play this.
The editor of this video deserves an extra helping of gruel, they did fantastic!
I got national park forests and poo everywhere, and when the police catch me I say I’m fertilizing the ground.
23:29 7 lynx?
Where did they lynk to❓
I already played polypine, nice relaxing game.
So good vid. I know that without whatching it
I like how matt is flabbergasted at new stuff yet knows how to cheese them 😅😂
For reference, mooses are larger than a SUV. Not super larger but still larger.
Moose are bigger than an suv. Those things are frkn massive even with out their racka which are massive as well.
Can you play more of this?
I just love hearing Matt say squirrel.
I hope, there will be more episodes on this game
Keep playing and get them to add an RCE who can do a massive super-poo in the woods as an end-game achievement!
I hope down the line you can unlock laxative trees.
How TF did "BP" as in British Petroleum become a currency in a game about growing an ecological habitat?!?!
It's only a matter of time before someone goes for a squirrel juggling world record in this game.
7:34 Skitter, on her first night out
Hearing a British person pronounce "squirrel" is much funnier than I expected
Matt breaks game...
Now I want this game 😂
Dw, my pet mice are not Mad, you good.
Moose are that big. I've seen a moose run into a road and the car it ran in front of drove underneath it.
1 minute in and I'm going insane from matt pronouncing squirrel as "skrwill"
Came to see if I was the only one! It’s all I can hear 😂
Him this doesn't look like 15 years also him cuts down baby trees
Keeps culling new trees to "keep his forest looking neat and clean" ...RCE, are you secretly an Architect?
Too many BEES slowing down your game?! A large influx of BEES aught to put a stop to that!
You need to do bridge review on brick science's video!
awesome video
Some trees are basically just a forest of one tree that grew from roots or some thing
I can't counted how many an engineer already makes content about of literally poo on the games.o_o
I want to see RCE play helldivers 2. yes, very far removed from his usual (highly entertaining) catalogue. but as a very very longtime fan (circa 2021) i don't know, it would be hilarious. (bile titan nadooooooooooooooooo)
I've seen so many moose and i've only lived in Alaska for three months.
2:13 most of the earth isn't 2D if that helps.
12:30 :RCE having fun making a rabbit fly and make it rain poo on the other animals
NOOO NOT THE BEES NOT THE BEES!!!!!!
If you enjoy games with poop you should try Ark survival ascended the poop is a key factor
This is great
2:23
2:22 2:32 AYO
This video is very seedy
Hello to the PolyPlague (you definitely describe our goverment :D space squirel is the way we go.. the little one should be a synonymum for our Robert.. But afterall, I like your show, I am looking for you for 4 years :3 here we go .. I do like you
That's pretty weird becuase I had a similar situation like in the "Story Time with Matt" just with leopards.... Weird matrix error
If I said leopards before it was a mouth typo 😂
Even with autoclicker running game maintains solid 60 FPS. Top optimization.
hah, I saw the title and assumed it was Timberborn
“Omg, this deer has been to Taco Bell.”
👍
I don't think the lag is due to the autoclicking in of itself, but rather the delay of 1 millisecond between clicks for a whole couple of minutes
