Winter Camping At A Ski Resort

We decided to winter camp with our teardrop trailer in a designated overnight parking lot at White Pass ski resort so that we could wake up and hit the slopes in the morning. It snowed the entire night and we had about 6 inches of fresh snow, which made for excellent skiing conditions!

What size power station are you guys running that small heater off of? And how is it working?

Hi Stace! BLUETTI AC50S 500WH/300W. We use a thermostat as well to conserve power 👍🏻 Heater is 200 watts, so we get about 2.5 hours run time. We usually just turn it on when we get in bed and when we wake up. Does a pretty good job for 200 watts.

How do I convince my girlfriend to get over not having a restroom and a shower when we camp in my teardrop?

Haha!! Well you do have to occasionally rough it, no way around that. However we do sometimes look for areas that have decent facilities near by, just in case. White Pass actually had porta potties in the lot and we could always head to the lodge of needed. We do also bring a portable privacy tent and portable toilet seat as backup. Easy...get a new girlfriend. I bought a new jeep and teardrop and have in 10 months 52,000 miles. I also have the same teardrop they have and it’s awesome.

LOL. Well, maybe just try getting her out of her comfort zone first and see how that goes. Make sure the destination is something amazing. Brad, that's a ton of mileage! You must have been to some amazing spots!!
