Dam really cause my mate wife was giving birth he had to run to hospital driving fast after work to go to hes wife police pulled him over then let him off with a warning but helping to get to the hospital quicker by speeding down the road and that was in london

American police deal with very different criminals. They're harsher on criminals than we are here. Hence the classic situation of a standard traffic stop going very wrong, most crims over there think it's worth potentially dying if it means escaping another sentence. Our criminals are often not as bold, and the access to illegal guns here is a lot more limited than the states.

It's actually a minimum of 5years by law, but I have never seen a case where the person has got more than 5years without further offences....

They don't change the sights based on what situation, unless it's well in advance. At the start of their shift, they book a gun out of the armoury, the gun comes "as it is", they can't get to change it, or add silencers, etc to it. They just have to check it's functioning correctly, the barrel is clear and it's not likely to jam and has been serviced properly.

Everything is a very lenient sentence here... stab someone and you'll be lucky to get a few years. The only reason few have guns is because of our culture & they aren't readily available unless you're a criminal

They were ARMED officers. Make on move at the K-9 and I guarantee they would ventilate the scouse git.
Rather the dog than the person. Also the K-9 is probably going to fuck you up before you even get your bearings with that chainsaw.
Unfortunately, as much as most people don't like it, if it's a dog's life or a person's life, the dog will go first. I don't like it much either, and in this situation i'd rather be first in the door with a loaded gun than putting a somewhat defenceless dog in there, but it's policy.
