Love the child-like radiance! 3:00 How he clapped as if the footage was played backwards. Everything about this music & visual language reads so honest. Every moment is a killer moment. And as someone who keeps the sheds of her reptile friend, the concept behind this made sense immediately.

wow man. How beautiful year was. This is the year of Radiohead, Ray Lamontagne, Wilco again (you dismissed Star Wars album by Wilco) and Konklins (check Damage Is Done video from this last one). Maybe the Konklins will rise a fucking hype on 2017. They're fucking awesome.
There is a beauty in this video! It's a combination of bradford's body structure and facial expression and the straight real vibes. I could never be a music writer, because those descriptions were helplessly vague, but MAN is this good media. I think I'm becoming a deerhunter fan. Is it to late?

Definitley thought this album came out this week (Oct. 16th). Haha! Told about 10 cats at work to check it out until my man Scott said his wife saw them promote this album "about a year ago". HAHA!! Damn was I late. Either way, it's new to me and I love it and was worth the laugh. Thank you Deerhunter and all you cool fans.

I'm in love.
I heard the entire album yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised. Compared to Monomania (which was a disappointment in my opninion) the new LP has a more electronic, feminine, organic sound to it.
It reminds me only of Deerhunter, but I still think Bradfords Björk obsession is coming through here. Not that I like her at all. Anyway, I might be wrong, but I think he's listened to her albums a lot in the past, and on Fading Frontier it seems to sip into the production. Especially on the track "Living My Life". Also, there are some nice Heaven or Las Vegas-esque guitars on it, and most importantly, some really sweet melodies. 4/5 on the first listen. Looking forward to seeing them live again!
