This lady and this young man gave me tears....she is a dear heart. You are not your blood. You are your own values. What a gift this boy is. May you have a great life young man.
Forgiveness isn't a Christian thing. It's a human thing. I'm Jewish and Christian teachings are based on our teachings. Jesus was a brown skinned FORMER Jew as was John the Baptist who baptized him. Re-direction is key to making sure that one never goes back to jail. Incarceration not re-direction is the key missing from our current criminal system.
I am crying from the joy of these amazing stories. With the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, I was feeling very sad. This program has restored my faith in humanity. Thank you!
@@tipsysmichigander6483 Damm, are you an idiot for making such a terrible comment? Watch the documentary again and you will see the "kid in the band", it was his father that robbed the old lady at the graveyard. 😠
@@tipsysmichigander6483there was too, and way to miss the point of Steve's stories... Kindness. The young man apologized and gave $250 his father may have stolen to the older woman. She in turn gave it back for his band trip.
im not religious, and i struggle to forgive, but this moves me a bit in a way i cant describe. its special others can do what I cant and Im glad they can.
Mary Is an absolute saint of a woman. I cannot imagine many people willing to forgive someone to the extent that she did. What a story of humbleness between both of them.
A wonderful human being. Didn't let his job as a Judge keep him from helping one who really needed it due from things this man went through in the war. God Bless you Judge. God Bless you!
One person that should have really been featured in this documentary is Judge Caprio of Providence, who is so well known for his kindness towards Veterans, poor people, etc, that appear before him in court. 👍
Absolutely beautiful. If only we all could always do such a beautiful thing. I believe in forgiveness. It feels just like she said. It is just that sometimes it is easier said than done, unfortunately. We should never, ever stop trying.
I don't know which I'm enjoying/ have enjoyed more, Steve: the series you did with your kids or this new series. We need your positive stories. Please keep up the good work!!
Preach it, Mary! I would love it if my cousins would realize what she said is true. Until they realize that forgiving their sibling isn't about excusing what he did, but it's about healing themselves, that cancer of unforgivingness and bitterness will continue to grow and spread, and it will destroy them.
Love all these beautiful stories! I might watch a news channel if stories like these were reported on. 😉 Thank you for these uplifting real life stories. 💗🙏💗
It never ceases to amaze me - the stories Steve has shown us. I pray that others are effected and see that there is good in this world. Thank you Steve and CBS
The woman in the first story is amazing. Im so glad he was able to turn his life around, too. He was a child, who did a horrible thing, but he is clearly doing his best to make the best of his life.
Wow momma your strong . You gave him a new life and to himself. And to so many teenagers that think they are untouchable with a drink a wheel. Wow. Thank you. Thank you. I DONT have the right words for this at all. Not at all. I hope this touches all who drinking and driving and thinks they are fine. I truly truly think this man is sorry. I am sorry for him also. Such a hard thing. And for the deaths.
Thanks for this encouraging video FORGIVENESS a Blessing in a world full of sadness and hate! Trust in Love ❤ and Our Heavenly Father and Jesus! PEACE to ALL ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I forgave my son recently for his treatment of me. The only thing I cannot forgive him for is how he has kept my three grandchildren (ages 20, 16 and 12) from me and turned them against me. He has a sociopathic personality but it still hurts.
Good Lord! You commenting this negative, TMI personal family business on such an uplifting video made to give hope, I think your son made a very good decision. For now. I hope you find peace of mind and unconditional love. I have all the faith that he will come running back to you once he feels your genuine love again.
It is nice to be nice, I love learning about ALL countries, and just because people look like you, there is not any love. Until we learn about LOVE and not lust, we are DOOMED! Happy I moved out of the USA at 79. No problem here in Queretaro, Mexico. Prayers sent to everyone, but MOVE!

Man, the story about that kid in the band makes peeling onions a walk in the park.
Not a single story here about a kid in a band... Are you slow?
