You are! Good comment. I live in Belarus also and it's interesting when I talk to friends in the west about the cost of living. However eastern Europe and ex-Soviet countries are also riding their citizens. In the west you are just being given large amounts of money to pay back in taxes, it is all essentially slavery. If you work all week and have no money or almost no money left you are a slave. The trick is to get a western salary, for example working remotely and then live in the east. That way you beat the system. I did it for many years.
