@Esse And Essence Bro satan was already in Jannah even after he refused to accept Allah's command and after being casted out from God's presence. This is where he deceived Adam and Eve. But in anycase, I used to think that Allah alone will decide the fate of His creation and I had a hope that Allah is above this poinless eternal torture which will be of no benefit. But it seems that the belief that the most merciful forgiving God is Malik e Yumiddeen is atleast heresy if not Kufr and God will ask muslim scholars first before deciding the fate of His creation. Bro, here is a request, when Allah will ask you about the fate of His creation, please ask Him to forgive me for believing in heresy. 😥😥😥
I explained something similar to my dad about a month ago. He's a non-muslim and he was asking questions about it. I told him that bad things cannot be in the presence of Allah, so if after your life you still have some bad in your soul, hell is there to purify your soul and then you'll be ready to go to heaven. This makes 100% sense with Allah's mercy.
@@trillanthropistgawd8488 I think it has more to do with being fair and just; If someone was a good person then it makes sense to put them in heaven. If someone was a bad person, then it does make sense for them to be punished. Why would god just purify them on the spot and put them in heaven? That wouldn't be just for the person who was good. But then again, this is my understanding of it, it is also possible that I am wrong.
ONLY those who believe in ONE GOD and belive that prophet Muhammed peace be upon him is the last prophet of God will go to heaven, don't rely on this scholars view because it is mentioned forever in hell in Islam. Tell your family/dad to convert to Islam if he wants salvation. The truth is the truth.

It brings controversy cuz he wrong. Ibn al qayyim Is free from his claims on him. Ibn al qayyim believed that hell ends for the believers yet people twists his words
Keep in mind that this was around the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) towards giving out the warnings/signs on Non-Muslims, and some of those people immediately rejected him. Are you telling me that the same is applied towards Modern day Non-Muslims based off of what happened 1,440 years ago? How are they supposed to accept Islam if there's no signs given to them?
you realize that would mean most people go to hell if i ever join a religion im joining when where either nobody goes to hell forever or there is none ngl
@@MurataSolosso you’ll join a religion if it says the things you want. That sounds like you have determined yourself as God. If you seek truth then you don’t care where that truth takes you. Since God is becoming more of a fact even in science. They just change the name to simulation theory or creative designer. The next question why would God create something from nothing. What is our place. Well in the Muslim story of Adam and Eve it tells our place. Humans would never appreciate heaven unless they experience the hardship of this world. You have to earn heaven. Do you think most people are earning heaven? Traveling around USA you’ll see Satan is running most people lives. These people think well since they haven’t killed anyone they going to heaven. When I’m reality all yourself what is a believer. God says for the true believer death is a gift because he gets to meet his creator. How would you live life if you knew for sure their was a God. Most are living like they do what they want and they say they believe just in case Y the people that really believe pray. They follow the book. When everyone else is a slave to temptation they keep on the path because they know there is a God. When death looks then in the face they smile. It sounds like you need to decide if you believe. If you know there a God then how would you move. If he literally talked to you how would you move in life. Then I’m sure you will be rewarded with the real world. If your like most people who like to give the devil a hug your probably screwed.
I've always held this view but I never knew there were other scholars who had this theory! Even though it's a minority opinion, to me it 100% reinforces the mercy and love God has for us and makes me want to do better because of it. Thank you so much for sharing!
I'd disagree it's simply going against basics and is not understanding God is the full capacity of the attributes such as mercy, majestic etc so thereby his punishment should be as befits him as he is truly the most just the Qu'ran emphasises it too that God could've put all the good on jannah and bad in hell but to be fair he put them through life.
But i understand one's issue with it from a emotional standard we obviously understand its a painful punishment but God knows best hellfire is truly for the evil.
@@omaribnalahmed5967 Well I'm still figuring out the whole free will problem, which is also related to that. But yes, from an emotional and practical perspective, how many times have you forgiven your kids, parents, siblings, or pets despite them deliberately doing something you told them not to? Even though I'm not a particularly forgiving person and I can easily hold grudges, it's hard to not forgive the ones you love most. Of course God is all-powerful and can do whatever; only God knows what will happen in the end.
There actually have been medieval scholars who didnt believe in the eternal hell. Even today for every verse that implies eternal hell there are tons of other verses to support the non eternal hell.

@@rockhard9369 Well yes, if you look at it from a literal sense. But in the verse when god said that heaven will remain forever unless he wills it then we would understand that one day he might will it to not exist anymore, but the verse also says that god keeps his promise (and here i believe the promise that god made for humans that they will live forever in heaven) meaning that god will do what he wants but won't go against his promise meaning that heaven will exist forever because gods promised it will and he will never will for it not to exist. With hell god doesn't make a promise that it will exist forever, he said it will exist forever unless he wills for it not to, but there is no promise here that states that hell will remain forever. Meaning that although he said that hell will remain forever, his addition to "unless i will for it not to exist" means that a time will come when he will remove hell. One might say that: well, he could just leave it there forever, after all he said IF he wills for it not to exist. This argument makes sense but in the quran god shows that he is more merciful that angry and vengeful, so by that definition it means that in the end his mercy will drive him to remove hell eventually.
I like Sheikh Shabbir, but I think there is a misunderstanding. Ayat 9:68, 2:80, 3:24, 10:52, 3:88, 45:34, 5:37 & 5:80 refute the concept that Hell is finite, and Hell is described as "the eternal punishment" many times (eg 32:14). Ayat 52:18, 4:147 and 44:5652:27 state the believers never enter Hell. Regarding duration of Hell, 19:79 & 20:127 emphasize the continuity of Hell. Qur'an 6:128 is a key Ayah regarding the subject and should have been discussed. It says that God, in His Vast Compassion, may save a group of hellbound people at the last minute. However, after the destination is assigned, there will be no change; that is part of (mathwa). Regarding philosophical thinkers, it is critical to explain that the Qur'an says things will 'resolve' in the Hereafter (eg 37:39). In 37:31, the inmates of Hell say, "So God's decree is justified! We are partaking [of Hell]." In other words, the justification of Hell is validated by the inmates themselves.

you are right, Quran says that Jews and christians used to say none other than jews and christians would enter paradise. "The Jews and Christians each claim that none will enter Paradise except those of their own faith. These are their desires. The best reasoning to hell not being eternal is justice. The only reason someone would be put in hell is to fulfill justice. An eternal hell means god doesnt have power to bring justice as an infinite punishment would mean justice can never be fulfilled. An all powerful god would have power to bring a punishment fitting to justice.

Dr. Shabir has a lot of minority views that I really appreciate. He gives another side to what a lot of the classical scholars firmly believe and it's nice to have other viewpoints
You do realise he is effectively trying to appease people. Ibn Ul-Qayyim is free from this. If you read from those classical scholars you'd also realise hell is forever. This is a christian concept that God is all love which is why they are free doing what they want, Allah is just no one who will be in hell did not deserve to be there especially in this day and age where Islam is everywhere.
As one who believesin both the Bible and Ahsana al-Hadith, would like to point out that even in Torah and the Gospel, Hell is not forever, for it is written, "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before the throne; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." The term "second death," although a synonym of "perdition" or "utter destruction," more literally refers to the destruction of souls. Isa al-Masih himself said, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both the soul and body in [the fires of] Jahannam."
@@lerobarns1048 Can you read Koine Greek? Most people don't know that "αἰών (aiṓn)" is a synonym of "καιρός (kairós)." And while "καιρός (kairós)" is translated by most Christians as "time;" its synonym, "αἰών (aiṓn)" is translated by most Christians as time even though that it is a bad translation, based in a misunderstanding of Koine Greek. The most literal meaning of "αἰών (aiṓn)" is "lifetime" or "age;" while "καιρός (kairós)" is most simple "time" or "season." Know this, Revelation 20:10 should translated as, 'And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tests with a touchstone night and day for the ages of the ages.' As for what "the ages of the ages" means, because "αἰών (aiṓn)" means either "lifetime" or "age," I would say it will be over a thousand years at least.
The beautiful thing about this question/discussion is the opportunity to think about Allah's mercy. Please share this video as it could be good dawa. Many would find these ideas inviting.

Allah says in the quran "abadah" forever and this sheikh is telling me that allah was bluffing? Allah also says sin of shirk will never be forgiven if he dies without tauba. I think people being in hell “forever” means that after all the punishment is complete the hell and the people of hell will not exist. It will be turned into nothing. Hence “forever”. This makes a lot of sense Allah is the most merciful and he says everything he has enumerated in a clear register which is seen. He is the most merciful and provided us with life as well as judgement for our actions. Hell is created by the anger of god which is from the sins of man solely, not from god himself, however the mercy of god and his eternal giving is from god. Hell is created from the sins of men which means it will only last until the sins of mankind have been gone. The universe is created for so long that humans have been sinned so much it feels like it will be forever for a creation of man. But remember that people will abide based on their sins and no single soul will be unjustly put in hell. Since this universe is finite, although there is a long time that hell will last, it can’t last forever. But the question that remains now is will god’s mercy be bestowed upon those that suffered hell and will they go to heaven after that or will they cease to exist. But since god's mercy encompasses everyone they may go to heaven after they suffered hell. In this case everyone would be in heaven at one point in time but why doesn't god mention this to us in the Quran in a clear way? Maybe that's part of the test to see how much you trust in god's mercy.
I am mostly in agreement with Silver scorpion 17 (ss17) it is true mostly that if u do the right actions together with right intention u will be in bliss but at a higher level the mercy of god overides everything including punishment that is why he destined a prostitute to bliss because of her pure intention and right action So I this world do what u du is right and inthe next uworld u will be in bliss God's mercy overides everything else in this world and in the next So samianaa was athaana (I believed and did the right action ) Hence come what may continue doing sujood till u are no more

But what about the Q saying that the Jews said Hell will only touch us for a few days? Isn't it better not to fall into that trap? On the surface of it Hell isn't viewed as temporary in the Q.
06:06 when I was a Christian I had a similar perspective but this system of thinking only works without hard predestination which is common in many Muslim circles. In my view omnipotence means being able to do all potential actions but God (as he's all good) doesn't have the potential to be evil. He's still omnipotent because the action of God being evil is like asking if God could make a squared ball : no but that's not even an action. So he's omnipotent but due to his goodness he imparted free will on people and people's sin create hell. I don't think such a vision can be held in Islam though.
In my understanding, our time is on the 4th dimension, Hell's time is on a further dimension while Heaven's is further still. Eventually time becomes space as its dimension is completed. As time ends on a dimension space is born on the dimension above, and the Quran says the Heavens are being expanded, Hell will end too because its time will just become new land for Heaven and the souls of the inhabitants of Hell, purified in the process, will naturally be raised to Heaven as their infinity is but a finite struggle looked at from above.
@@Design--om2zx Perhaps more than that. Who knows, maybe in Heaven each believer knows when their loved ones are bound to ascend from Hell at the latest. It is Heaven after all, and I fear the cries of mothers separated from their sons as they see their suffering might just drown Heaven in sorrow otherwise.
The wisdom behind eternal hellfire is that if a non believers were to live eternally he would never believe in Allah, therefore he deserves eternal hellfire. Dr Ally always brings forward most controversial opinions
With all due respect, this is absolute nonsense my friend. Nobody knows that, if let’s say someone rejects a certain religion at one point of his life he may come back on his word after deriving to different conclusions, it happened to me many, many times. A longer life implies changing your mind over certain topics. Let me use a different example if someone is a Muslim one day, there’s no assurance he will still be the next day and this is why we ask God to “Guide us to the True Path.” Also, your analogy is greatly flawed because you said IF, let’s say for arguments’ sake that you were right then what would be the point of creating him in the first place knowing he would never listen to his Creator? No, Dr. Ally does not bring forward controversial opinions, he’s using some evidence as well as his intellect but if you don’t want to listen to them then what’s the point of even watching his videos? 🙂
I have been absolutely HATIng what Ive been hearing about the Islam religion lately but Dr Shabir Ally is such a refreshing voice of logic and If I were god, I'd make him my "front man." The things he says and his adherence to the words of the Quran instead of every other hadith seems so reasonable to me. I could see Islam becoming a kinder and embraceable religion if more muslims were like him.
Allah doesn't contradict Himself when he saya Halidina fiha Abadan. Some people choose evil, pure evil and they admit evil, some embrace evil, some are proud Of evil. Eg, Hitler and Iblis. If they happen to hear this they'll smile atleast. Allah says Forever! If it's true that hell is not forever then Allah will surly state it clearly that hell is temporary and Allah is not the author of confusion. May Allah increase us in knowledge. Eh.
Exactly what i was thinking. Imagine living in jannah and seeing Hitler in there because his sentence is over. Doesn't make sense. Such people just Didn't deserve it. Again, eternal hellfire is too much as well. I just don't know what to believe now. I'm in the middle. They didn't deserve to ever enter Jannah, but eternity in hell is kind of bad as well.
@@Design--om2zx just look at this this way Allah will free anyone in a hadith Allah freed everyone with a coin of good deed and then Allah said that he will anyone with half a good deed and then Allah freed everyone who didn't even have a good deed so imagine hitler but worse because hitler had to alteast do one good deed but these people had no good deeds but these people might have been believer but they are worse than hitler. Not everyone will be in the same place though, some will be In weaker levels of jahannam where they don't experience much pain, while others who were terrible will be put into depths of hell in most extreme pains. That's pretty much it. This world is a temporary place where we build our homes for hereafter. The home you build for yourself is the one you'll be in forever, be it a good place or bad place. Take an example of the school system. Mainly the final exam. You have few days to prepare for it, and your entire life depends on it. That's fair. That's why it's fair for hellfire to be eternal because it's what you have built for yourself.
@@Design--om2zx still I think even hitler being tortured for all eternity, philosophically seems quite saddening. And if I apply that to the greater world, I feel sad. I just wish for God's mercy to encompass it so that hell is not eternal.
6:03 the blank/confused look on the lady's face so point to take away is that in the Quran, when Allah says he'll is forever, He me and it metaphorically, like when we say "this is taking forever" (Dr ally's words) I like Dr ally but this i don't agree with Hell in the Quran in eternal for some
Sometimes things are metaphorical, sometimes the text has to be understood literaly. Whenever it's suits you. What a mess! Another addition to the interpretation industry of islam.
@@Hamza000h This is true, I agree. The problem is eventually the bias in the choice of what is metaphorical and what is not, depending on your preconception and own ideas. I wonder if allah, the all-mighty, could not be consistent and clear. Maybe to choose the "right" interpretation is just another test which can send you to hell or paradise. The message of allah is not very credible, isn't it ? What is a scholar in the supranatural world, where nothing is grounded on hard facts and evidence and logic.
@@AS-jj4dv God allows room for interpretation, the same way god allows for free will. If everything would be set in stone with no room for thought then this would be a lack free will and so synonymous to the world of the angels. However god has given humans intellect for interpretation and allows this as part of his overarching plan. The matter of interpretation is one found in any field, not just the Quran or even the bible, it can be found in concepts such as science aswell.
@@Hamza000h And for those with free will who got it wrong, choosing one of the numerous false interpretation, god send them to hell. My interpretation: there is no god, and if there is one, he is pretty incompetent in communication, and very immoral.
My basic opinion, from the consideration of this opinion and what I understand is that the disbelievers will never be able to enter paradise, but that doesnt mean they will be destined to the worst severity of hell. It was said that the prophet saw uncle Abu Talib would end up in hell because he could not except Allah, but the hadtih narrated that his punishment for eternity will be akin to an uncomfortable sensation on his little finger. I would consider that even among the absolute disbelievers that should have no chance of Jannah, there may be ones akin to Abu Talib and worse sinners, perhaps when those worse sinners experience the punishment for their sins they will be given to the lesser levels of hell, that is a punishment, but more in the sense that they can never enter jannah then to be eternally subjected to hellfire.
Thank you for a though-provoking video. What I would like to ask is: Even If Allah (swt) eventually ends hell, will the mindset of the evildoers change? Like when they go to heaven, will those people start causing trouble again? And in that case, will Allah (swt) punish them again? I also would like to know another point. I understand people who are judged to go to heaven on the day of judgment will remain in heaven forever. However, none of the people are perfect. It's just that their good deeds outweighed the bad deeds. In that case, is it possible that some of their actions in Heaven may be opposite of good behaviour? So, will they be punished in that case?
Very interesting questions for sure. its believed that people who qualify for heaven would be purified before entering, think of bathing in some sort of magical water that purifies you. There are scripture verses saying people will be removed of all spite and evil tendencies. This purificiation also makes sense from a psychological view of life burnout. People would hold all sorts of baggage and trauma from the problems of the world. This purification would cleanse all the baggage and heal people as if they were innocent kids unaffected by adult problems. Anyhow thats just my theory that i think makes logical sense. The evils in the world affect you and some ppl go through pains to a point where even the thought of going to heaven is meaningless to them.
@@Yameen200 if reciting the shahada and becoming a believer wipes your previous sins then it would make sense your remaining sins could be wiped when you enter paradise. But obviously, this is all just speculation
in paradise only happiness, no sadness, I think we all agree with this. this leads us to another conclusion: the people in there must be perfect in their actions.
Allah the almighty and the most Merciful will never reject anyone that turns to him and repent and ask for forgiveness from him. May Allah give the kind souls his mercy and Jannah.
The Bible says God will not keep His anger forever, but it says His mercy will be forever. It says all flesh will come to Him, the spirit of all will return to God who gave it, Rev 5:13, all created beings will eventually give praise to God in worship, Psalm 66:4, All the earth shall worship You And sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.” Selah 1 Cor 15:28 God will finally be "All in all", Act 3:21 God will restore everything, everyone. Rev 21 God says "Behold, I make all things new!" Death will be destroyed, which is the last enemy, so there will be no more death, no more second death, no more hell, which was included in the second death, hell will be no more. God desires all to be saved, He has the power to change our hearts, He will do everything He desires according to Isaiah 46:10.

First.., just like what the prophet teach us before reading Qur'an.., seek protection from God to protect us from Syaithon. Pray to the One God, whoever it is (just simply ask). There are too many knowledge man, being astray by their knowledge. Even Satan has the more knowledge about Qur'an. That's the important for seeking protection when reading Qur'an. second, my personal advice : be patient. avoid prejudice, or being too early in making assumption and justification. recheck things, rethink things, re-evaluate things. Don't be too haste in making a justification and conclusion. when you understand one thing, you might find a deeper understanding if you patient with it.

Bro satan was already in Jannah even after he refused to accept Allah's command and after being casted out from God's presence.

This makes 100% sense with Allah's mercy.
but is that true?
Did u tell ur dad that he will go to hell becoz he is non Muslim.
It does not make sense at all. If the purpose is to purify as you say, he can purify without subjecting unimaginable torture in hell

OBJECTION! There is no proof of this other than the word of one man
@@MurataSolosso you’ll join a religion if it says the things you want.
By no way philosophically speaking hell fire being eternal is not against God it'd just a very intense punishment as it should to befit God.

In Quran 6:128, it is mentioned that hell will be forever, but then the exception is given, that is, except if your Lord wills otherwise.
In Surah Hud verses 106-108, there is description of people of hell and heaven. When God describes heaven, He says that heaven will remain forever except if your Lord wills otherwise, but then the verse continues with the expresion that your Lord will not go against His promise.
But when Hell is mentioned, Allah says that Hell will remain forever, except if your Lord wills otherwise and then Allah says that He will do whatever He wills.
This difference should be pondered upon.
Good Observation
unless God interfere, hell is forever?

MALAY SUBTITLES Part 1 of 2
01:33
Seperti gambar Tuhan anda
01:35
adakah seseorang yang disebut benda ini neraka,
01:38
dan dia akan meletakkan orang di sana
01:39
dan dia akan menyaksikan mereka terbakar selama-lamanya.
01:44
Oleh itu, apakah maksudnya bagi Tuhan?
01:48
01:50
Jadi bagaimana kebaikan dan rahmat ini
01:53
dinyatakan dalam keadaan itu?
01:55
Jadi ini memerlukan jawapan,
01:58
dan dalam menangani persoalan ini,
01:59
Saya mendapati bahawa terdapat banyak sebab
02:02
kerana berfikir bahawa ...
02:06
Untuk mengatakan bahawa neraka itu selamanya
02:08
bukan idea yang baik.
02:09
Dan saya berasa lega untuk mencari
02:12
bahawa terdapat sebilangan sarjana Islam dalam sejarah kita
02:15
beberapa sarjana penting yang sebenarnya berkata
02:18
neraka itu tidak akan selamanya.
02:21
02:23
Dia adalah pelajar terkenal Ibnu Taimiyah,
02:26
yang dianggap sebagai sebilangan besar Syeikh ul-Islam.
02:31
Inilah gelaran yang telah dianugerahkan kepadanya
02:35
oleh penduduk yang ramai, sarjana Islam.
02:39
Bukan hanya seorang sarjana, tetapi anda tahu, seorang sarjana ulama.
02:43
Dan tentunya dia terkenal
02:46
untuk banyak tulisannya, koleksi besar
02:48
fatwa atau keputusan yang telah diberikannya.
02:51
Anda tahu, hanya koleksi fatwa seperti ini
02:53
selebar ini di rak buku,
02:56
mengisi keseluruhan rak.
02:58
Pelajarnya, Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah
03:00
juga cukup berjaya
03:02
dan sangat dihormati.
03:04
Dia menulis sebuah buku berjudul (bahasa asing)
03:08
"Petunjuk untuk jiwa ke tanah kebahagiaan."
03:13
Dalam buku itu, dia mengemukakan persoalan
03:15
03:26
dia mengambil kedudukan dan dia berkata
03:29
bahawa ini adalah kedudukan gurunya juga,
03:32
neraka itu tidak akan selamanya.
03:36
Dan bagaimana dia sampai di sini?
03:38
Baiklah, dia terlebih dahulu memberikan hujah
03:41
04:57
Mereka bermaksud beberapa minit.
04:59
05:01
- Baik tetapi maksud Ibn Qayyim tepat
05:05
05:20
dan mereka akan kekal di dalamnya,
05:22
itu bermaksud selama neraka.
05:25
Jadi selagi neraka kekal.
05:27
Tetapi jika Tuhan memadamkan neraka
05:31
seperti ia membuahkan hasil,
05:33
maka neraka tidak kekal.
05:35
06:15
yang mengatakan bahawa saya mesti mempunyai neraka.
06:18
Maka neraka itulah ungkapan kemarahan Tuhan
06:24
menangani dosa melainkan rahmat
06:29
mengatasi kemarahan, menurut Hadis yang terkenal.
06:31
06:36
Rahmat Tuhan sangat kuat.
06:38
Oleh itu, dari perspektif ini, mudah difahami
I like Sheikh Shabbir, but I think there is a misunderstanding.
Ayat 9:68, 2:80, 3:24, 10:52, 3:88, 45:34, 5:37 & 5:80 refute the concept that Hell is finite, and Hell is described as "the eternal punishment" many times (eg 32:14).
Ayat 52:18, 4:147 and 44:56 52:27 state the believers never enter Hell.
In the Quran Allah says ... those in the hell will stay as long as he (Allah) want ... that clear its not infinite .... Alhamdullilah

Allah knows that everyone will eventually end up in paradise, but there will be purgatory hell to punish this life’s actions. In this way Allah doesn’t predestined eternal hell for everyone, not only temporary for those who did evil out if their own free will which He has granted.
One should take account that people who goes to Paradise goes there because of the mercy of The Most Merciful (God). But one who goes to Hell goes there because he deserves it.

A difficult question answered very well. Muslims like Dr Shabbir are exactly what our Ummah needs; familiar with the Islamic sciences; Academic and well spoken. Most people are hesitant about Islaam due to false misunderstandings and misconceptions which are widespread. If more Muslims study their faith tradition and are able to express and articulate a conversation on this level then there is no reason why Islam cannot spread.

Though We will repay every ingrate”

you are right, Quran says that Jews and christians used to say none other than jews and christians would enter paradise.
"The Jews and Christians each claim that none will enter Paradise except those of their own faith. These are their desires. Reply, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Show ˹me˺ your proof if what you say is true.”" Quran 2:111
Now some Muslims seems to say the exact thing. The judgment is for God, we are not to judge anyone, we should only see if we are on righteous path and think where we will end up, in Hell or Heaven

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
The term "second death," although a synonym of "perdition" or "utter destruction," more literally refers to the destruction of souls.
Isa al-Masih himself said, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both the soul and body in [the fires of] Jahannam."
If you claim you believe in the bible then don't say hell is not forever. Go back and read revelations.

WHATS THE POINT
But the purpose of hell is to recompense the wrongdoers for what they have earned. Thats makes much more sense to me and that is what Allah says in the Quran rather than just expressing His anger or purifying them. Hell is something we earn if we do bad.
But how could anyone earn eternal punishment? Especially a finite weak human being.
Allah says in the quran "abadah" forever and this sheikh is telling me that allah was bluffing? Allah also says sin of shirk will never be forgiven if he dies without tauba. If its unforgivable sin of hell, the hell should be forever to punish those unforgivable sins though.. there's nothing to argue here. Allah says forever. It means forever. Allah never says something and bluff
VERY INTERESTING! As long as Hell REMAINS, so one day Allah could erase it, very mindblowing for me!
with although respect, Dr. Shabir ally did not let the Quran speak with not referring to even one verse of Quran about the topic. he spoke from himself
The video did make reference to Surah 7:156
In Quran 6:128, it is mentioned that hell will be forever, but then the exception is given, that is, except if your Lord wills otherwise.
In Surah Hud verses 106-108, there is description of people of hell and heaven. When God describes heaven, He says that heaven will remain forever except if your Lord wills otherwise, but the. The verse continues with the expresion that your Lord will not go against His promise.
But when Hell is mentioned, Allah says that Hell will remain forever, except if your Lord wills otherwise and then Allah says that He will do whatever He wills.
This difference should be pondered upon.

Respected sheikh, i would like to ask one thing, u said hell will be there for a long time but not for infinity as it will serve its purpose and will be removed afterwards,,does that mean even iblees will be taken out,,he has not stopped since creation and knowingly rebelled against Almighty, and maulana tariq jameel i saw in his video said after spending a long time iblees will be taken out of hell fr a moment and asked whether he will repent but he will not give up his arrogance(ignorance) in that context i fail to see how hell will ever cease to exits,,,kindly reply.
God be like: BEHOOOOLDDDD I'm coming with the clouds~

How can they go to heaven though? It's a reward for believers only.

I am mostly in agreement with Silver scorpion 17 (ss17) it is true mostly that if u do the right actions together with right intention u will be in bliss but at a higher level the mercy of god overides everything including punishment that is why he destined a prostitute to bliss because of her pure intention and right action
So I this world do what u du is right and inthe next uworld u will be in bliss
God's mercy overides everything else in this world and in the next

Jesus Christ is the author of life, the perfecter and finisher of our faith, this is grace upon grace -love immeasurable forever.
You just gave me an idea that in hellfire time passes differently and although it lasts forever, it won't be unjust.

But the real question will disbelievers ever be released that is the question only Allah knows that but Allah will forever anyone even worse than hitler
@@mohamedbinishaq3169 disbelievers will abide in it forever. I can't believe that it's been 3 months since I've wrote that comment. It honestly feels like 3-4 weeks. But yeah, Dunya is short indeed. Anyways, as I was saying, disbelievers will be In jahannam forever, with no parole.
Hitler and Muslims both hate J... So there is a possibility that Hitler might go to heaven but he won't because he committed suicide.
@@Design--om2zx still I think even hitler being tortured for all eternity, philosophically seems quite saddening. And if I apply that to the greater world, I feel sad. I shouldn't be attached to this world, but still, I'm human and think about fellow people. Imagine having non-believing family members that you love, non believing friends? I just wish for God's mercy to encompass it so that hell is not eternal.
Quran mentioned it : 11:106-108
interesting, thanks!
6:03 the blank/confused look on the lady's face
so point to take away is that in the Quran, when Allah says he'll is forever, He me and it metaphorically, like when we say "this is taking forever" (Dr ally's words)
I like Dr ally but this i don't agree with
Hell in the Quran in eternal for some
Sometimes things are metaphorical, sometimes the text has to be understood literaly. Whenever it's suits you. What a mess! Another addition to the interpretation industry of islam.
Its not so simple to literally interpret everything. This interpretation was put forward by some of the greatest scholars in the tradition.
@@XavierBodd Look into NDEs. These people feel free of the worldly problems.
in paradise only happiness, no sadness, I think we all agree with this. this leads us to another conclusion: the people in there must be perfect in their actions.
@@Yameen200 and maybe hell is the more violent purifying process? he said the same way metals have to be heated to be purified
Allah the almighty and the most Merciful will never reject anyone that turns to him and repent and ask for forgiveness from him. May Allah give the kind souls his mercy and Jannah.
Aameen.
Asagfirullah asagfirullah asagfirullah may Allah paak bless forgive all our sins ameen sum ameen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Any advice for a Christian studying the quran?:)
Visit bayyinah. Tv on youtube
Ask questions to smart muslims what you don't understand
Read "no god but god" by reza aslan! I was a christian, ask me anything. Also he has a book "Zealot" about Jesus. For Quran check out "The message of the Quran" - Muhammad Asad. I'd recommend "No god but god" before anything
"those who impatient in enduring the difficulty of studying will find the difficult being the ignorance" - Imam Syafi'i
Be patient with passion. Don't be too haste in making a justification and conclusion. when you understand one thing, you might find a deeper understanding if you patient with it.
Yep. Take a deep breath, pour yourself a tall glass of whiskey and keep a very open mind. You will be blinded by its beauty only to be sickened by its words. Good luck.
Scholars means nothing in Islam, different scholars have different ideas. But important is what the Kuran says about that, answer must be either yes or not mentioned.
The shirk sin is unforgivable. While all others are not pardoned by Allah.
There are some more sins beside Shirc which shall not be forgiven like denying angels etc.
That is why many declared Sir Saiyid out of the folds of ‘Isla:m
@@esseandessence4421 that's shirk when you admit to tauheed once it means you must believe in everything Allah has created. So shirk is not a word but a whole definition.
The quran needs to be interpreted by scholars, not by laymen like you.
I found your explanation very informative and gave me something to think about because it's a subject I've wondered about I'm non Muslim and I've thought about becoming Muslim. It's troubled me that as a non Muslim I won't go to paradise and your explanation has eased my mind a lot
I think u should consider becoming a muslim like the fact that ur here means that u have faith in ur heart may allah guide u 💗
Search for a video called "Laughing at Unbelievers in Hell?". It will give you some good ideas.
The interpretation of this man is wrong. The Qur’an says that non-Muslims will be in Hell forever
Hellfire for disbelievers is forever. This fool doesn't know what he is talking about.
Sahih al-Bukhari 4730: Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "On the Day of Resurrection Death will be brought forward in the shape of a black and white ram. Then a call maker will call, 'O people of Paradise!' Thereupon they will stretch their necks and look carefully. The caller will say, 'Do you know this?' They will say, 'Yes, this is Death.' By then all of them will have seen it. Then it will be announced again, 'O people of Hell !' They will stretch their necks and look carefully. The caller will say, 'Do you know this?' They will say, 'Yes, this is Death.' And by then all of them will have seen it. Then it (that ram) will be slaughtered and the caller will say, 'O people of Paradise! Eternity for you and no death, O people of Hell ! Eternity for you and no death."' Then the Prophet(ﷺ), recited:-- 'And warn them of the Day of Regret when the case has been concluded, and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness and they do not believe.'(Quran Surah Maryam 19:39)
Thank you.I have been looking for this answer forever.
4:40 what nonsense. Does he even know that the expression equivalent to “taking forever” was present in the Arabic dialect, let alone in that historical time period
Astagfirullah, Jahannam is forever for some people - clearly mentioned in Qur'an. Unbelievable 🤦♂️
Exactly!
As mentioned here
So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do."
They should also say heaven is not forever and we will die again 😂
