@Suleiman _38 since u said there is no sections in Islam. All religions have sections, But Islam is unique since they kill each other saying we are right. After few years of Mohammed' s death, his all relatives were extinguished from earth because of the rule of kill the one who speak against me.
Killing Muslims in many parts of the world!!!!! Explain me about what is happening in Nigeria, Syria, Pakistan, Egypt, Iran etc. Where is the Christian population there. When Islam in power they kill innocent Christian, Hindu, other religions including Ahmadeeyas by just claiming religious blasphemy. Even some one say Mohammed's sunna from hadees, it become blasphemy if they are not Muslim. Why you speak against China? It's favorite of Imran Khan. China and Pakistan are good brothers.

Well in your world view, the example that you have given about the cheetah and the buck, there seems to be no evil there, because for the cheetah, it is good that he'll be having his dinner. How do we know that the buck thinks that the cheetah is evil if they both don't work within the basis of morality?

@@Yameen200 I don't agree with that and here's why, yes I am a Christian man however to answer your question I don't want animals to be hurt, but at the same time when I go hunting I'm shooting that duck for a meal to provide for my family and have them eat, I'm not out there just to shoot it to just go out and torture it, I'm out there for meat and to provide food for my family. Or like if I go shoot a deer I'm not there to torture the deer I'm there to go get meat and possibly even a blanket, food warmth meat. Have you ever been to a fish market? If you've been to a fish market you see fish all in a row on ice on shelves, was it wrong for the fisherman to go and fish for that food that people want? No. I'll tell you a quick story, at my Mom and Dad's house we had raccoons eating insulation out of the barn, and there was a raccoon standing out by a tree the one day ready to die, I bring the BB gun out, the creature looks at me I look at it and I shot him. It took me several hits just to have him killed, he didn't die by me shooting him, he died on his own because of the insulation, however I did pick him up and toss him into the field and yes I used a shovel to scoop him up and throw him into the field. So when you say that animals can feel pain yes they can you're right, but animals can also get scared of you, animals are very territorial, and some will kill you. So naturally it's not wrong for an animal to eat another animal nor is it sinful for an animal to do that because animals don't know what sin is they have no concept or knowledge of what that is, so if a duck is getting bitten by a cheetah yes the duck is going to die but also the cheetah knows it's getting food for it's Young. So you got to think on the outside of the box a little bit, Brian May who's a strong animal rights activist said I don't know why people go and kill animals but we kill them not for sport but we kill them for the meat and food, I don't believe the dinosaurs were destroyed by an asteroid I believe that the dinosaurs were killed off by man to eat them and use their skin as pelts and use their meat for food that's why we killed them.

@@viiplayer1 assalamualaikum sister , We as humans have been believed to think that our minds are super i mean that we can think everything throught it , but if you observe everything around you you'll see it's abilities have a limit , even the universe has a begining and an end
Eg you can lift up 5kgs maybe 50 kgs but can you lift 5000 kgs , No same for machines it might hold 500000 kgs but not in millions,ok almost everything is limited
Theferefore the human mind must have a limit and this is also backed by many empirical evidence ie scientific evidence
This question arises when we tend to think about this test through our knowledge and experience of this world which is highly limited already and is highly faulty as we make so many errors big and small in our relationships, worklife even daily chores everyday
But then we forget that it is us humans who have the highest intellect , we think that if i were God why would i do it , or why would someone do that
Secondly humans have a very limited life lets say someone lives for 150 years and has tons of knowledge but even then he can't be an expert on every issue and can't be knowledgeable in all fields of knowledge ,
So without knowing a lot of things how can someone think that he has reached an intelligence which is higher than his creator
It's like cats and cows think that why does this human hushes me away from his house or maybe they might think they are superior than us, but in reality are they?
Similarly their are billions of things that we as humans still don't know the answer to even on this planet so what about the infinite universe,
Yet man dares to challenge God
The answer is there are some things we'll be told in the hereafter
If everything was told here then there'd be no test
Also we can't do anything about this
Believe me I've studied hundreds of philosophies and religions and none of them practically comes near to Islam

However, I always reason with this question by concluding that we are limited in our ability to differentiate net positives and negatives as well as understanding the process of creation. The Qur'an reminds us of two things relevant to this. First is that we inherently lack knowledge and understanding. Second is that we may incorrectly perceive what is good for us vs what is bad for us.

    Salam Aleykum
There is not an ultimate and universal answer to this question that will satisfy everyone because people are different. People do not relate to every „because“.
The „because“ must be one that he or she finds compelling rationally, intellectually, and spiritually.
I mean to ask why suffer is like asking why are we here? What’s the purpose of creation? By the way, even the angels asked Allah in the second chapter of the Quran the same question regarding the creation of humans.
So if the Never sinning, perfect angels can ask this question then certainly we should ask it, too.
I thought about it and I think that if you create humans with free will, by definition they must make choices. Otherwise it would be contradictory to the definition of free will when decisions were already made for them.
However, free will has certainly consequences. When choices are made they might affect other people in a negative way and cause harm. Because if you have to make a moral decision you might decide in a way that benefits you the most. However, in order to feel for your fellow human beings and to show compassion, it also requires some suffering on your side to at least get and intuition of what pain this Person might is going through.
Because the good things and the bad things in life help our personal moral, mental and Spiritual growth.
No matter how much you love your pet fish, no matter how often you feed it, the Fish will never be able to relate to you and to develop a real empathic, loving and caring relationship. It might not even realise that you care for it as the fish is such a primitive creature.
Now, you might have a dog, and the dogs capacity to give back your love is of course much more developed but still limited to a certain extend.
But let’s say u have a child that grows up in front of you, that you support through good times and bad times, that you care for in sickness and that you laugh with in times of joy. The relationship, the love, the compassion, the friendship, the laughs but also the pain, the suffering, the tears, the sadness, the worries and the struggles u both have gone trough is what eventually helps you to develop and grow a bond that is almost impossible to destroy. This life is our personal stage of growth and to grow you must leave your comfort zone which only can happen if things are challenging physically, mentally or spiritually.

First at all, the same question was also once questioned by angel before God want to create adam on earth. He simply replied that He know what angels don't. Then, adam taught by God, and he demonstrated his ability to gain knowledge to angels. The point is, in this world, we have good and evil, and human have the ability to learn something. For example, even in the time of prophet there were slavery existed in society. Then human learn the slavery is a bad thing and the common sense today will agree that slavery is againts human right. That also apply to covid 19, where human can learn from it and try to fight the desease and improve life standard.

Excellent explanation, one of was thinking as well. The problem is that if God created the world that we are in now as purely good then it totally negates the freedom of choice that we have. Because then there is no possibility of a drive to compel us towards evil. The issue with this question too is that, when there is goodness in this world, many would think "God has nothing to do with this", and that it is just cause of nature and goodness decision of humankind, but the moment there is an evil, immediately we say "Where is God? ". We blame God, negating the cause of nature and decision of humankind. It is simply the hatred of the premise of believing in God not arguing the premise of law of creation at all.
Let's assume that we are all Gods. So when good things happen, yes we exist, we do good. But the moment evil happens, suddenly we don't exist, and we are all evil too? God created this world (a sandbox), and given us a manual, for us to operate. If he interferes with this, in some ways for example in Quran Allah said that if He wishes he could make them all believers, but this is a test for them. This is what he meant, in Quran (67:2): [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving.
If he made us all believers and all good, why there is a need of a choice, or judgement who has conducted the best of actions, or even a manual at all? That's why Dr Shabir said the other world that this exists is the world of angels (they don't have the manual or Holy Book) because there are already designed in such a way the predisposition is only good and no evil at all. Now given this establishment, the question is that those who follows the manual, where are they to bring order to the sandbox? Or where are those other human beings (even those who does not follow the manual)? What do they do in this sandbox to stop evil or propagate good? That is why hereafter exists, heaven and hell exist too; to reward those who choose good, and to punish who choose evil.
That is why if we look at Surah Mulk (The Dominion) again, (67:8-10) “....Did a warner not come to you?” They will reply, “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied and said, ‘Allah has revealed nothing. You are extremely astray.’” And they will lament, “If only we had listened and reasoned, we would not be among the residents of the Blaze!” In this chapter God clearly explain that he created the world perfect, and then he made the animals and other creation perfect for their one or many functions, then He mentioned human, immediately the premise of choice and consequences were introduced. Along that too, the premise of a warner was introduced to indicate that there is someone or groups of His creation that tells us to do something, to make the right choices etc. I think reading the Quran with an open mind and refresh mindset is important. Allah knows best.

Great answer. I was thinking the same. What if there was only good in this world and no evil? Then we would be good by nature like angels. There would have been no free will to choose since there would have been no choice to make! So we can say that evil comes from our free will.

Then how will God grant those children on Jannah or hell and on what basis. Also let me clear you that according to Islam there is no re-birth for any soul in this world.

MALAY SUBTITLES Part 1 of 3
    00:00
    - Selamat Datang Membiarkan Al-Quran Bercakap.
    00:02
    00:04
    penulis utama pasukan kami.
    00:06
Alex mempunyai beberapa soalan mengenai Islam,
    00:08
    jadi kami mengajaknya ke panggung
    00:10
untuk meminta mereka kepada Dr. Shabir.
    00:11
Inilah yang pertama, mengapa Tuhan yang baik hati
    00:14
    00:49
iman mereka semasa mereka memikirkan masalah itu,
    00:52
mereka tidak dapat memberikan jawapan yang munasabah.
    00:55
Soalan ini termasuk dalam topik umum teori,
    00:58
masalah kejahatan dan bagaimana kita meletakkan penjelasan teologi
    01:04
    untuk masalah kejahatan?
    01:06
Bagaimana kita memberikan penjelasan seperti itu?
    01:08
Kita boleh mengatakan bahawa dari perspektif Islam,
    01:12
Tuhan akan mencipta dunia jika dunia itu
    01:17
    mempunyai banyak perkara baik,
    01:20
walaupun mungkin ada kejahatan berbanding dengannya,
    01:23
termasuk di dalamnya, kadang-kadang kesan sampingan
    01:25
    mencipta perkara yang baik.
    01:27
    01:33
    yang benar-benar baik.
    01:35
    Jadi itu benar-benar baik.
    01:36
Pasti, Tuhan akan mencipta sesuatu seperti ini
    01:38
    kerana dia mempunyai kebajikan
    01:40
dan dia mahu merealisasikan perkara yang baik.
    01:42
Jadi dia akan mencipta dunia yang baik.
    01:44
    Katakan sesuatu benar-benar jahat.
    01:46
Ya, Tuhan tidak akan mencipta itu
    01:47
kerana menurut definisi, Tuhan itu baik hati.
    01:50
Dia penyayang dan penyayang dalam tradisi Islam.
    01:54
Dia tidak akan mencipta sesuatu yang jahat.
    01:57
Tetapi katakan ada sesuatu di antara.
    01:59
    Ada campuran baik dan jahat,
    02:00
dan ia boleh menjadi spektrum yang luas.
    02:02
    02:04
"Ini lebih jahat daripada yang baik.
    02:05
    Saya tidak akan membuatnya. "
    02:07
    Tetapi kemudian menjadi sedikit kabur
    02:09
    02:38
Sekarang kita mungkin kembali dan berfikir, "Baiklah, tunggu sebentar
    02:41
    kerana Tuhan maha berkuasa,
    02:42
tidakkah dia dapat menghapuskan kejahatan. "
    02:45
    Dan jawapannya adalah ya.
    02:46
Tetapi kemudian anda bercakap tentang dunia yang sememangnya baik
    02:49
    02:52
Dan itu ada di suatu tempat.
    02:54
Dan kita boleh memikirkan dunia malaikat.
    02:56
Dalam teologi Muslim, malaikat adalah baik.
    03:00
Jadi itulah dunia yang diciptakan Tuhan.
    03:02
Bukan dunia duniawi kita, tetapi dunia.
    03:06
    03:27
    dari penderitaan yang kita lalui?
    03:30
    - Itulah salah satu kelebihan kejahatan.
    03:34
    Tidak semestinya tujuannya.
    03:36
Saya tidak dapat memikirkan pemikiran Tuhan,
    03:37
"Baiklah, izinkan saya mencambuk mereka sehingga mereka akan belajar
    03:40
    dari sebatan. "
    03:42
    Pasti dalam memikirkan dunia
    03:46
    yang boleh dia buat,
    03:47
Tuhan menyedari bahawa inilah dunia yang mungkin.
    03:50
    Ia akan mempunyai beberapa kejahatan,
    03:51
    04:20
Oleh itu, mari kita fikirkan hakikat bahawa
    04:25
salah seorang anggota masyarakat kami dibunuh di sebuah masjid
    04:31
ketika dia menjaga pintu, berusaha menyekat masuk
    04:34
mematuhi peraturan untuk membatasi penyebaran COVID-19.
    04:40
Saya tidak dapat memikirkan pemikiran Tuhan,
    04:45
"Aku akan membunuh lelaki ini, menyebabkan kematian lelaki ini

I appreciate Shabir's point of view, but him going on about vaccines isn't the point. He's trying to say something the interviewer wants to hear. God may have allowed virus to take over but it wasn't "for the better development of vaccines" .... it was so we would put our trust in God over man-made science in these times. He completely missed the mark on that one.

I must say I am disappointed in Shabir’s response to the question on suffering. If I were Shabir, I would be sure to quote Deuteronomy as well the book of Job from the Torah. It explains how God disciplines people through suffering. It also helps to build perseverance. The Quran also talks about this in several verses. Once again, I think Shabir could’ve done a better job with his response.

The Quran says that nothing bad comes from God and all bad comes from the deeds of our own hands. This means that every challenge we face isn't really bad for us , it is our reactions to these challenges that make them bad. We react in fear , we react with arrogance , we react with our ego and therefore the challenge gets worse and worse.

God is omniscient and omnipresent so none of us REALLY have free will or freedom. He knows what all of us will do so this still begs the question - why suffering? What is the point in given a child bone cancer? That child has no free will or freedom. And if god created everything he created all the bad including evil people and psychotic individuals.
Is it their fault then if they do evil things? He created them after all.

I would say that God have many creations... among those creations there Angels who are created without choice and they only follow God orders and he created humans who have a choice,
When you do not have a choice other than doing good such as angels then there is no test for your faith, love and agreement with God orders, but when you have a choice then you are tested in which choices you make, and with a test and choices comes consequences...
So, after being expelled from heaven for a bad choice, we humans are sent to earth that we live in as a test with everything happening in it is a set of questions for us... it is a limited time then according to our choices and answers we are securing our place in after life

He knows the gifts He placed within us and what we are CAPABLE of…BUT he gave us freeeee WILL! So as we continue to destroy the earth…the natural outcome are a variety of disasters. Slavery, greedy rich people, drug/alcohol abuse, marrying relatives to control the wealth, domestic violence…all of these create domino effects of mental illness, physical impairment etc…and these things MANIFEST as evil. As far as you know this stuff from him or any from Abrahamic religion you will encounter this. But when you will read about Sanatan Dharma or generally known as Hinduism all your ideas will be fade away. You will be left with sheer truth. No evil or devil game. By the grace of God I have read lots of scriptures. What I have come across so far is almost all the scriptures are full of fantasy and all. Please note that I’m not saying they are wrong, but full of fantasy to persuade the people of that time. People need to understand that each and every scripture or even a text has been written according to that time, people, social and ecological norms, education so and so forth. Hence, when you read any book always make sure this stuff. It will help you a lot. After reading many books and scriptures these factors have always been there. Otherwise, how can you relate with those people??!!! What I personally believe is all the books from Abrahamic religions are bound to time. If you are full of questions and also consider to read others scriptures you will find that Abrahamic religion’s scriptures can’t give you an answer of all the questions. I am not trying to pull it down any religion, but this is the fact. The way Bhagwad Gita, Vachnamrut, Tao Te Ching can relate with people of any era or time Abrahamic scriptures can’t. I know most people are not aware of Vachnamrut but it is available on App store and everywhere. It is also available in English if anyone wants to read.

Then God could create all his worlds as the Angel worlds. Why does He need to create a world like us? He could make everything perfect, He could even change chemistry, physics, mathematical laws to make our world perfect, if He is so powerful and compassionate. Why does not He do so?
Also how does big evils, one sided assaults, such as large scale genocides serve any purpose on earth?
The only conclusion that can come out of this is-
    1. God is not all-powerful, OR

He did not quote any scriptures, so I don't know how this answer connects to Islamic wisdom. To me, as another philosopher, it occurs, that the real answer is: "The real answer can't be understood by the physical brain created by god". In other theologies the answer can only be experienced by actually reaching "Moksha" (Hindism), "Nirvana"(Buddhism) or "Entering God's Kingdom" Christianity or "Returning to Allah" (Islam).

Allah swt or God made the earth to be a test for his servants. It wasn't meant for humanity to enjoy any pleasures on this planet. But to know hardship or to make out what you can to help your humanity develop so that you could know difference between striving and fulfillment. That's part of the reason why Allah swt or God sent Adam to earth 🌎.. Allah swt sent Adam to earth to understand the folly he made when he followed the whispering of Iblis when Allah swt had already warned Adam about the tree and Iblis. So instead of ultimately punishing Adam for his disobedience, Allah swt or God turned to Adam in mercy but still showing Adam the difference of blessed and the difference between being disobedience.

People often ask me how I can believe in Allah despite everything (abuse as a kid, homelessness in my youth, being sick and disabled all my life), so I feel its definitely something people would be keen to watch, and they would learn something from it. Besides, we really should be included when you're talking about us. It'd be like talking about why racism is allowed to exist without including any POC

And as a brief answer from my perspective: I believe it is to test us (just as someone with a lot of wealth may be tested by what they do with that wealth), but also to test others (eg how they treat you, the support they give etc). In addition, it teaches us things. I have learnt and experienced a lot, as well as met some amazing people, that I never would have if I had of been more fortunate with health etc. I'm honestly grateful for those things.

Tough question. In an ideal world, we learn to look to one another when suffering occurs. As a species, we still haven’t grasped the importance of living in communion with one another. We are still too self-absorbed, in fact, pathological self-absorption is often rewarded and encouraged. “Survival of the fittest” does not produce compassion, love, cooperation, or symbiosis. It produces bigger and meaner predators who are concerned and feel entitled to one thing……more and they never stop.

Think!! There is no logic in what he speaks. It's not God who allows us or causes suffering. It's the people who cause the suffering for themselves. God has given the brain and has given good. If a person applies the brain in the right manner he will do and be Good. For his bad deeds if he is suffering - I wonder why we should think that God is testing?
God need not test people. People will reap what they sow. There are no side effects or a mixture of good and bad or love. There is only Good what God has created.

From a Christian perspective, God has created all things beautiful and has given us laws. However He has called man to rule the world. We over the years have not obeyed His laws and created our own flawed laws to run the world...we are just facing the consequences.
    2. The consequences faced are our doing. We have the power to fix it by going back to the laws of God.
3.A disease has come from man. Let's not blame God for actions of men.
Let's turn back to God and His ways.

I have gone through suffering in my life of 60+ years but mine was nothing compared to the pain and torture suffered by others, man or animal.
Suffering allows me to be thankful, to feel relief, that my Creator has been specially merciful to me. The suffering of a true believer is nothing like the pain of a non-believing person. This has a special significance in Islam. Only a true Muslim, one who has an undying faith in Allah, can really comprehend suffering.
How can one explain the thoughts and worries of some of the companions of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) when they felt ease in their lives? They worried that perhaps Allah was not with them, that He had given them the easy life of the disbelievers. Suffering, therefore, increases faith and draws one so close to Allah that one can even feel His presence in their lives.

HE tests us with good also with evil.....!!!

The primary question why God created us? For worshipping he needs our obidience?no
    Then why ?
To test us? For his paradise?
Ok so he has already the knowledge of future why didn't he already created that souls which he knew would prosper and grant them paradise why making this world and a hell and throwing his so called beloved creation majority of them in fire?how kind of mercifull God is this?
If disobedience and disbelieving is the reason for going hell will does that affect his divinity?

Dr. Shabir is one of the best persons to explain things, I have learnt a lot over the years. I'm not sure I got the answer to this question of suffering though. Maybe a more focused answer and elaboration specific to this would help, thanks. What I got was the benefits, but I'm not sure I got the answer to the suffering in specific. Why suffering, and is it really fair for the innocent, especially when the innocent didn't even ask to be a part of this evil world. Innocent babies, children etc.
I really don't think we can answer this question, but only god.

Allah already mentioned in the Quran that everybody will be given test on earth whether they are rich or poor. However the test given by Allah is not beyond their capacity. If Allah doesn't want to test us, then Allah should have sent us all to straight to heaven instead of sending us all to earth. Reference from Quran below:
Quran Al-Baqarah 2:155 - “And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient”
Quran Al-Baqarah 2:286 - “Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity”
