Honestly, I think it should be considered a high achievement to win this show. Not only does it show your talent as a chef, but it also proves how well you can command a kitchen.
Communicating to a team of trained staff is difficult enough, but communicating to a dummy who doesn’t know your recipe and likely doesn’t have much skill? And to end up with a decent product? That’s skill👍👍👍

This is 100% one of my new favorite episodes. Not just of Phoning it in, but of any kitchen-related episode y'all have done before. Every last one of y'all, from the contestants to the chefs and the judges, crushed it.
The two chefs crawling on the floor after their quarters finished and they realized their respective disasters in the kitchen were getting worse had me DEAD laughing
