  • I finally replaced the Rush 72 and I'm not looking back. This was a great move.
I review the Osprey Atmos 65 and go over it all

Is this your new SHTF bag? So it weighs a little more than the 5.11 -24 which was 3lbs in your last vid. I think the tactical bags are not bad but yeah from a comfort point of view and staying waterproof they aren't that great. Is this one water resistant or waterproof? I've been eyeing the Savotta Jaakari M backpack.

I took advantage of the 20% off sale at REI myself and pulled the trigger on one. Going out at the end of the year to give it a week long test.

Was a sale because they are off loading there last bits of that generation. You are lucky. As an outdoor and travel gear sales man the new version is not as liked as the that version due to a few minor changes.

You're right. I was going to wait to see the new ones. Once I seen what they changed, i rushed to get this bag. Luckily, it was on sale

I had a 5.11 Rush 12 and that was heavy enough 🤣 plus it was a sweatbox on your back too! You made an excellent choice with the Osprey Atmos 65 light and very comfortable. If I need to shift bigger loads and heavier weight I use my Savotta jääkäri large or my Mystery Ranch 6500. Nice review Sir.

Yeah those too the Savotta or a mystery really are nice. Im thinking one of those might be my new SHTF bag

Weird, it say on the webpage that they come with raincover. This is in Norway though, maybe it's different here idk.

Yeah, we get a rain cover with Atmos in Europe. But on the other hand the european version doesn't have detachable top lid. Why couldn't be both worldwide? Dunno.
