Mike, you are awesome!!! I can't believe how lucky I got thanks to you. I started thinking about doing a LS swap couple of months ago (I'm not a professional mechanic by any means, just a home diy guy) but I wanted to do something different than just the common fox body or 240sx. When I saw an E92 in one of samcrac's videos I knew that I wonted that (even though I'm not a BMW fan). I started research and couldn't find sh** I even opened up your website a couple of times but I wasn't able to make the connection (you need to put your videos in there).I was ready to give up.... And then out of some forum I saw the first video about Frank's car and now I feel like a little kid in a candy store. I'm starting from scratch but the goal would be a daily driver turbo charged E92 with a manual and ~600 whp. I still haven't decided on which LS to go with but right now I'm researching LM4,L33 and I'm still wondering with which trany to go. But just wanted to say Thanks man, Thanks for all the time and effort you've put in to this, thanks to you I'll be able to do the exact build that I want.

So question if I use the stock 6mt from the car I just get the terminator with the fuel spark and drive wire option right? Since it’s a manual transmision I won’t need the trans option one right?
Correct, you only need the trans harness with a 4l60 or 4l80

the Z seems to use the same from subframe so the engine mounts should work.
Watched the video a million times and I have a question…I have 2011-13 135i. Can this be done with the factory dct in that car also? I’ve been trying to find documentation on how the dct communicates with the ecu. Can you point me in the right direction. Id like to try this with my dct and a coyote. Thanks for the video. Cheers.
It can be done but you need to run a separate trans control
I’ve got a 2009 e90 bullet resistant glass and panels and such but I am to far down the rabbit hole to go back and can’t trust the n54 and stock gear box for what I use it for is it possible To swap an auto n54 to t56 ls3 also is their any traction options because I would like to keep stock wheels and tires also would like to keep it quiet other then limo tint I would like the car to look and sound 100 percent stock
How much room do you have from the valley pan to the bottom side of the hood when shut? Basically is the enough room
to fit a LSA or cts-v supercharger without modifying the hood? Thanks

I know I've been asking a lot of questions lately and I'm sorry but...I won't have the money for the Holly terminator set up for a while and theres a local guy who modifies the ls stock ECM to work in anything with only 4 wires to hook up...do you think your box would work with that so that I could have the car running without buying the terminator setup yet?
No it won't work with it. Also won't easily have the ability to use the stock pedal so youll need to fabricate one for that though the floor, buy an aftermarket fan or a controller for the stock one, buy a wide band for tuning. In the end your far better with a Holley.

Have you ever tried a factory dbw harness? It seem like by the time you buy the Holley ecu and add 3 more harness your 2k into it.

Also how do these things handle after the swap I’ve got quite a bit of extra weight on my rig then most lol
should handle similar to stock.. a dressed n54 weighs ~430 lbs. If your donor had a n52 it’s ~370. a dressed aluminum block LS weighs ~430 and a iron is is ~525. so anywhere from 0-155lbs heavier.
Im currently struggling on 1 of my projetlcts. 535XI. Keeping my awd and functions with a swapped motor. Any ideas. And I dont want to run a power plant from another car.
You won't be keeping 4wd with an LS swap, at least not with anything we offer.

Lot of info in less than an hour. How does the wiring work if your using the bmw manual transmission?
No mods needed for the factory start button on a manual. Just hookup the starter solenoid wire. No can bus termination will be needed on the auto harness either.

How much different would the wiring be for an 2011 e90 335i.
Almost identical, the key on power wire on some e92s needs to come from the interior of the car, like the cigarette lighter

You can keep the stock bmw or go to an 8.8 swap.
