How you're being compensated definitely matters. My company pays hourly and it's daily overtime. Double time after 12 hours. It's definitely money to be made running locally.
Awesome glad to have you here. I’ve only run Ford Explorers out of Chicago so I don’t really know what we have up there. But the explorers paid pretty well from what I remember.
I’d say apply and see what they have to say. If they hire you they’ll train you and there’s lots of good runs up that way so your not in a bad area for United
I'm almost positive its 22,501 in monthly revenue for the 4 percent productivity bonus. And you can absolutely make money running local. Under normal circumstances at Twin Oaks PA I hit that 4 percent every month. Starting early is the key . 1 30 am start time for me.
Yes sir getting most of your driving done before the world wakes up really makes it much easier to not get behind. As for the production Ik I’ve always gotten the 4% so I’ve never really looked into the exact number so you very easily could be right on that
Hello I know that you put this comment out a very long time ago but I was wondering if I would possibly be able to talk to you a bit because this is my dream job and twin oaks pa would be the place I would want to look at because I’m not to far from there. I would really appreciated any information you could give me.
The money you’re going to make running local varies. Varies depending on what yard you’re running out of. Rates are not the same. And of course you have to hustle. I run local and beat $8k every week. Sometimes $10k+ when working saturday. I see rates from some Terminals that it’s nearly impossible to get to that revenue.
Your not wrong there I won’t name any yards but some of the rates can be like giving the loads away. Then to top off the low rates you get 3-5 stoppers lol. But I’d say most places you can make good money at you just have to be on top of your game
Well 1st off! CONGRATULATIONS 👏👏👏👏 on that new addition!!! Good luck on that local work therebrother, lots of loading and unloading! But it could be possible to make it! Nice that United Road gives u that opportunity to stay around in ur situation! God bless you guys and pray for good health for your wife and baby! Prays go out for them... Keep us posted on how that goes brother!!!
Thank you very much that means a ton to us. She had an appointment today so it seems like it’s gonna end up being sooner rather than later. But I’ll keep everyone posted on how things go
I’m about to go to moore transport for there lease to own program the only problem is I’ve been on a chain truck for a while and crossing over to a strap truck a little nervous
Hello !! ,i cant wait for your next video!!!, and congratulations for the New Babe!!l , and there is much difference in money doing otr ??? , Thanks for your time to answer my questions !!
I'm going to be applying with your company out of Stockton California . I had a question for you about driving in the snow. Here in California and Nevada we have the Donor pass I'm sure you've been through it before and a lot of times it's a mandatory that you have to chain up. Does your company make you chain up at all times or only when it's mandatory? Also does your company give you the leeway if you choose to shut down because you don't want to chain up due to safety is that an option also?
So I honestly don’t know about the chain up rules because I’ve never actually driven through that area. I’ve been to Cali 1 time and that was taking i10 into la. As for shutting down fort safety concerns I don’t see them having a problem with it seems how they really let you run the truck the way you want to. Plus if a company tried to force me to run when I feel it’s unsafe that would be my last load with them.
As a brand new driver I’d say $900-$1200 after you get quick at it and learn to unload and load in under 4-6 hours 1500-1800 most weeks and then once you get fast like most people with a year or two off experience being able to load in 1-1.5 hours unload in 35 min you can pretty easily top 2000 a week
Also depends on area you in, weather ect. Relationships at steeler ships. Equipment your running, quick loader, high rail. High mount, etc. Strap, chain, older, newer equipment...alot to consider. But stay determined..and don't low ball rates, effects everyone
Bro I have seen your UA-cam channel about a week ago really informative and giving encouragement to people who are interesting for car hauling! The money you are talking about is that the money you’re bringing home? How much estimate car hauler can make in a month?
So no the $2000-$3000-$4000 loads those are the money to the truck now most car haulers are paid a percentage of that. Normally around 25-30% plus bonuses. I’ll say the average take home should be around $8000-$12000 monthly
Shoot me an email and I can answer any questions you may have. But really if you’ve done car hauling before I’d say you’ve probably seen the same things there as you will here for getting hired. I will say the thing that rocks here is how easy going it is. As long as you’re making money and not damaging things here they leave you alone.
😂😂😂 no owner op is making 22k a week they may hit that number from time to time but not every week. I hit 22k in a week a few times a year but any o/o that says make that every week is a liar. They are trying to say they’re making $1,144,000 a year.
@@CarcarrierTv I just want to know what it the realistic average if you can help me with that. I operate a multi truck dry can company for 6 years and I kind of don’t want to spend my life making $6k or even $8k per truck if the opportunity to make twice that is available. Can you let me know what is the average weekly mileage, employee pay and gross?
Ok I’ll give you a quick run down but this is also a great idea for a video so I think I’m gonna make a one for video on this today. But in reality if your running high mount 8 car trailers behind the trucks you own figure 8k low end 12k high end per week in normal times. In today’s market I’d say 7-10k if you run your 70 clock out each week.
@@CarcarrierTv I can make that with dry vans. 3,500 miles will generate $8-10k. Are you talking about managing and dispatching yourself? Probably not, I assume you mean working with dispatching companies that cut your rates in photoshop?
Hey boss, do you have your own truck or you drive for united? can you lease to own? If they have company drivers, how many cents a mile is it and dies the rate increase?
I’d say it’s very good. At least there’s tons of work up there and that work goes all over the place. Now I haven’t been there in about 6 months so idk if we lost or won any contracts up there so I’m giving you info based on when I hauled cars from up there.
Hello sir, I have an interview today via zoom… when you’re talking about making over 7k a week are you a company driver or a lease purchase operator? And what does STI stand for? You mentioned it a couple of times… Thank you for your time.
I was talking about what the trucks making not me as a company driver I make 25% of what the truck makes plus bonuses. Sti means subject to inspection. Congrats on the interview I hope it goes well for you. Who are you interviewing with and for what area
I need to hire a transport for a 72 nova with 18" tires and exhaust is 4" ground clearance there going to be a prob with the wide tires and clearance ?
Wide tires no I’m guessing it’s tubbed so that’s not gonna be a problem. As for the exhaust maybe but with enough boards and a car hauler that knows what their doing could haul it no problem. Where are you looking for it to be hauled to and from. If you want it enclosed that’s even easier. But I might know people that I can shoot you their number to get it hauled. DON’T USE A BROKER EVER

I would not put it all on the next week. I would spread it over the next weeks.

Quick question do they have any positions on the west coast area? United road that is. Thanks in advance .
