    How you're being compensated definitely matters. My company pays hourly and it's daily overtime. Double time after 12 hours.
    It's definitely money to be made running locally.

      I’d say apply and see what they have to say. If they hire you they’ll train you and there’s lots of good runs up that way so your not in a bad area for United

    I'm almost positive its 22,501 in monthly revenue for the 4 percent productivity bonus. And you can absolutely make money running local. Under normal circumstances at Twin Oaks PA I hit that 4 percent every month. Starting early is the key . 1 30 am start time for me.

    • @CarcarrierTv
      @CarcarrierTv  3 роки тому +4

      Yes sir getting most of your driving done before the world wakes up really makes it much easier to not get behind. As for the production Ik I’ve always gotten the 4% so I’ve never really looked into the exact number so you very easily could be right on that

    The money you’re going to make running local varies.
    Varies depending on what yard you’re running out of. Rates are not the same. And of course you have to hustle. I run local and beat $8k every week. Sometimes $10k+ when working saturday. I see rates from some Terminals that it’s nearly impossible to get to that revenue.

    • @CarcarrierTv
      @CarcarrierTv  3 роки тому +4

      Your not wrong there I won’t name any yards but some of the rates can be like giving the loads away. Then to top off the low rates you get 3-5 stoppers lol. But I’d say most places you can make good money at you just have to be on top of your game

    I'm going to be applying with your company out of Stockton California . I had a question for you about driving in the snow. Here in California and Nevada we have the Donor pass I'm sure you've been through it before and a lot of times it's a mandatory that you have to chain up. Does your company make you chain up at all times or only when it's mandatory? Also does your company give you the leeway if you choose to shut down because you don't want to chain up due to safety is that an option also?

    • @CarcarrierTv
      @CarcarrierTv  2 роки тому +2

      So I honestly don’t know about the chain up rules because I’ve never actually driven through that area. I’ve been to Cali 1 time and that was taking i10 into la. As for shutting down fort safety concerns I don’t see them having a problem with it seems how they really let you run the truck the way you want to. Plus if a company tried to force me to run when I feel it’s unsafe that would be my last load with them.

    • @CarcarrierTv
      @CarcarrierTv  2 роки тому +2

      As a brand new driver I’d say $900-$1200 after you get quick at it and learn to unload and load in under 4-6 hours 1500-1800 most weeks and then once you get fast like most people with a year or two off experience being able to load in 1-1.5 hours unload in 35 min you can pretty easily top 2000 a week

    Bro I have seen your UA-cam channel about a week ago really informative and giving encouragement to people who are interesting for car hauling!
    The money you are talking about is that the money you’re bringing home?
    How much estimate car hauler can make in a month?

    • @CarcarrierTv
      @CarcarrierTv  Рік тому +1

      So no the $2000-$3000-$4000 loads those are the money to the truck now most car haulers are paid a percentage of that. Normally around 25-30% plus bonuses. I’ll say the average take home should be around $8000-$12000 monthly

      @CarcarrierTv  2 роки тому

      Ok I’ll give you a quick run down but this is also a great idea for a video so I think I’m gonna make a one for video on this today. But in reality if your running high mount 8 car trailers behind the trucks you own figure 8k low end 12k high end per week in normal times. In today’s market I’d say 7-10k if you run your 70 clock out each week.
