Dealer told me to keep the first few rides pretty short and let the engine cool completely between rides. Then just standard break in. QS up is clunky at lower revs. Really works best with a fist full of throttle when you let them climb. I honestly wouldn’t even use it till after first service when you can run the engine harder. It’s a super fun bike. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Random thought but it might save you some editing time to just get a piece of adhesive polarizing film to slap on the speedo and put a polarizer on the camera lens. That way you can see the display but the camera sees nothing. Anyways I just got here and watching this thanks to the yt algorithms. Cheers
I am not a big fan of speaking on camera but perhaps I will do more stuff like that in the future. I am using cheap generic sequential LEDs I got from Amazon. One already broke when removing my cover so they are not great but very cheap. I think Justech was the brand on Amazon. I recommend getting posi-locks whatever you go with, they make the wiring so fast and easy. The Fastidious Restomods channel covers most of the common Svartpilen mods and Sean is a great resource for that kind of stuff. I used his videos a lot for everything from oil changes to turn signals.

The computer is blipping the throttle for you when using a quickshifter. If you’re closing it manually, you’re just clutchless shifting which you can do on any bike. If the QS isn’t activating it’s likely because you rolled off the throttle or aren’t in the required rev range. Next time you’re out get into 2nd gear, pin the throttle open, when you see the shift light bang up on the lever without touching anything else and it should pop right into 3rd.
Originally installed them to accommodate handlebar muffs for the winter but ended up getting heated gloves instead. Left the left one on bc I like the field of view and it’s faster. I mostly use the bar ends to see behind me when I’m stopped and the little one for lane changes.

They are fenrirs from Amazon. Great quality for the price, just put blue loctite on everything

Why do you use clutch? It has quickshifter. I have even forgotten how to use clutch on high speeds after a month since I have 401... :)
Is the Coffmans a slip on ? Why did you go with that over the Leo Vince ?
Yup. I thought they all sound fairly similar once the baffle is out and just thought the Coffman’s matched the aesthetic of the bike better.
