The most beautiful presentation I have ever seen.
My memories came back to life. Selina was my home for two years in the late 50s. A naval wife from England, the Maltese took my young son and I under their wings and made us so welcome.
Joe and Elizabeth Micallef and their family were our close friends then.
Much has changed there, but still a exceptionally beautiful place.
Thank you for the clear photography, which is a help at my age.

We didn't realize how nice Valletta was until we pulled into port. It was the most beautiful city to see coming in on the boat and then once we got there the people were so nice. All the stone architecture and history was a big surprise to us. We'd go back tomorrow if we could!

John, Godwin and Anton Micallef, where are you now?
    Elizabeth and Joe’s boys,
Hoping you remained in your beautiful country, that has known so much hardship and intervention in the past.
I returned recently, only for a few hours. Near the Blue Grotto a restaurant with my sons name, DUNCAN.
He was with me when I lived there. Passed this world at eighteen years. Do you boys remember him?

Anna, I apologize for the delay. There's two songs at the beginning, Gregorie Lourme's "Age of Miracles" and a montage called "Cinematic Choir Melody"

@@familyfisttravels9270 Hi there, thank you so much for this info. My husband was born in Malta near Valletta and moved to the UK with family. We have been back several times with our daughter and our grandsons. This music is amazing and seems to capture our emotions about everything we love about Malta. Best wishes to you and your family.

Die Musik war ein kleiner Witz, der der Intensität des Reisens mit drei Kindern unter acht Jahren entsprach. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass so viele Leute das sehen würden
