- Valletta is the capital city of Malta. The city was one of earliest sites listed by UNESCO as World Heritage.
The city was named after Jean Parisot de Valette, a French nobleman. With the foundation in 1566 the Knights of St John created a baroque city which is lively today and the main tourist attraction of the island.
We arrive for our tour from Sliema by ferry. From the waterfront we walk up to the city where we explore many of the streets of Valetta. We pass the St Paul's Pro-Cathedral and explore the centre of the city with St George’s Square and St. John's Co-Cathedral, one of the main sights of Valletta.
The Lower Barrakka Gardens and Siege Bell War Memorial have a nice view towards the other cities of Malta across the water.
We make it up to the Upper Barrakka Gardens and finally walk out of the city to the Valletta City Gate and Triton Fountain where we end this tour.

Thank you. There's not much of a "sacrifice" as I now enjoy this kind of travel. 😎 Many times I revisit places so I had another, more touristy experience already before. It's good exercise and interesting to me. So I hope to make many more videos as the situation around the world normalizes. By now I've recorded almost 500 with over 400 on the channel. I didn't have the chance to record walks in Switzerland yet. The channel "city walks" has a few walks as far as I remember. I hope to visit Switzerland again sometime soon

WHAT I OFTEN WISH IS THAT THE PHOTOGRAPHERS/VISEORECORDISTS OF THESE FASCINATING RECORDINGS WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK LEFT AND RIGHT, AND THUS PROVIDE A MORE 3-DIMENSIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR THE VIEWER. OFTEN THE MOST INTERESTING VISTAS ARE AFFORDED BY SIDEWAYS GLANCING.
I started filming with more cameras - also left and right for around 1 year. So far I haven't released such videos as this will be done on a new additional channel. The Valletta walk does not have that though I am working on something...slowly.. The main issue is, that panning left/right is annoying. When you cut to left/right/back even the immersive feeling goes away as it becomes another travel video. It's a bit tricky also to edit 130+ videos a year as a hobby. Recently I passed the 500th upload of such walk. So all in all I understand your suggestion yet it is a bit of a challenge in this niche
