I love it, but I can't picture in my mind how a huge land of the city could just, stop being city (5:51). It's because a new city is created, because it's destroyed...? I'd love to see the explanation.
Many of your viewers know very little of this city and few will have the opportunity to visit and experience the enigma . I am grateful to you for presenting a clear outline of development in the area over the years . However , I was disappointed to find the huge vacuum between the years 1413 -1896. If there is ever a genuine opening up it would be wonderful to expand on this region's harrowing but absorbing history . May I ask if you have ever been there yourself ?

Wow. I always thought that Pyongyang started left-bank development in Soviet times like most cities which were rebuilt by Soviets after the war. It was very surprising to me to know that left bank actually started first.

It is, and always important.. But South Korea got some help from their west allies. That's why it can advance so fast. Oh and also.. They try to imitate Japanese cities layout. Edit: if Korea united, hope their capital is Pyongyang. Seol can just be like.. a center of their economy n culture. The North actually deserves to govern Korea. Because they're more experienced. but thanks to the cold war.. Their country divided into two. The Korean war is the proof that the North deserves to rule the whole Korea peninsula. But then the allies come to ruin that. The same goes with Vietnam but gladly the North can still win against the south vietnam there.
