Hello beautiful friends! I am so excited to be sharing this video. I truly poured my heart into talking about the subject of saving myself for marriage. I think there are a lot of videos about not having sex until marriage or being a virgin until marriage, but there are a lot of us who have had sex and don't know how we fit in. A lot of us are trapped in shame and guilt and don't know how to get out. Some of us feel unworthy of other's forgiveness. I wanted to make this video to speak and relate to all of you. I wanted to give you a raw and honest perspective on being a born again virgin and some of the struggles of waiting until marriage. I love you all very much & would love your support by sharing this video with someone who may need some encouragement.

I personally have come to believe that “wet dreams” are more of an attack from the enemy while we’re in a vulnerable state such as sleeping. A lot of people say it’s just the body doing what it’s gotta do to take care of itself, but I disagree and personally I found that praying over myself, over my mind and heart, and over the entrances of my room before I go to sleep completely stops them from happening.

I think this kind of dreams definitely come from our subconscious. Like we can't control what we dream about. It's whatever is in our subconscious. Sometimes, they come from desires that we have and other times it's just our subconscious projecting a dream into our mind. That's my opinion. The source of dreams. Like I don't think we completely understand what the source of dreams are. It's a very difficult thing to study since mris and other medical examinations can't see what we are dreaming.

Shawn Gronseth I use to think that but after listening the testimonies on sleep paralysis and the things that people see in that state (demons/monsters). I now realize how truly vulnerable we are and how the enemy would and could easily attempt to try and take advantage of us. I don’t think it’s all just from our subconscious. I’m associating these dreams as nightmares because that’s what they really are. When I experience them they are damaging my spirit and leaving me feeling violated when I awaken. That’s not from god and certainly not a dream given to me by the Holy Spirit. So it must be demonic/worldly. Either way, I think instead of just considering it as “ohhh heck yea I got a freebie last night in my sleep” we should stand our ground, rebuke the dreams, ask the lord to reveal anything that is unaddressed in our hearts which is causing the open door , ask forgiveness and plead the blood of Jesus overselves at night before we sleep.

I’ve been a born again virgin since July of this year... I feel slight guilt about sleeping with someone I knew I wasn’t going to marry. Once that relationship ended, my prayer life and communication with God has INCREASED. My ex called me last Friday and said he missed me... since then I’ve been thinking about him, wanting to talk to him just for sex again, and I know this is an attack from the enemy. I apologize for taking so long to respond, I have no clue how I’m just seeing it but I thank God for showing this to me right now when I’m in the season where I’ve began to fervently pray for my future husband and I’m being intentionally single yet this time open to dating. I just want to say that something God has shown me is the value that comes from waiting to be married to have that intimacy. He had told me that it really builds up your faith to the Lord and your commitment to the person you are with. Because you have allowed God to give you the strength to overcome that temptation to that sin.

Kian, I really appreciate your openness and honesty in this video! You were so right about people treating sexual sin differently from other sin. To anyone reading this, I want you to know it is never too late to make a change.
Well ofcouese people treat sexual sin differently, because different sins have different consequences. Stealing a candybar has lighter emotional consequences then sexual sin or how it affects others like a future spouse. So yes, people are right to treat it different. And its in your best intrest to understand that. Not all Sin is the same. You can say that the wage of sin is death, so in that regard all sin do lead to death but that doesn't mean all sin has same consequences or punishment. God is a fair judge and he would judge people and nations accoring to their sin. Yes God forgives and heals, but lets not down play serious sins that destroys relationship and marriages.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I can totally relate. When I first started walking with Christ I was also still having sex with my ex. After that relationship ended I vowed to be celibate and glorify God with my body. In so many ways he told me that my body was special and not to be shared with anyone & that is when I made my decision to leave ALL sexual sin. I’m also a single mom and have also had the doubts of finding a good man who will lead me in purity regardless of my past. I know Jesus is walking on this journey with me & I trust that he will steer me where he wants me to go. ♥️

Im jewish, but i really relate to that feeling of guilt, when i lost my virginity i was an atheist and had depression, was very lost. After being manipuleted by a man in his 40's (me being 17) i found god. I dont know how to stop the guilt but i know i will find someone better for me. One thing that I have done and kind of stumbled into lately is just keeping myself busy in the evenings. Like now that everyone is back into "school year" routines, I've naturally have found things to do most evenings and I've found that that really limits those desires i have when in isolation. They say that you are tempted most and sin most when in isolation. I completely agree with that 100%. 2-3 nights a week I have Christian related activities that I am involved in where I'm either studying the Bible, discussing biblical topics with other people, leading a small group of students, or going to church on Thursday nights. Then like 2 nights a week I'm doing fun things. Sundays I hang out with men from my church at a restaurant and we watch Sunday night football and hang out and talk. Mondays I go play games from 6 until whenever we decide to call it quits. Saturdays I watch college football at night. Sometimes on Thursdays I have me days in the city north of me. I have found that keeping myself out of my apartment for good chunks of the time throughout the week really keep me occupied and busy. I find when im by myself in my apartment is when I get tempted the most. So while I still do struggle and fall I've asked God hey please help me with this so I don't struggle and I had no idea how to get better with it. Like I was like man I feel so alone and isolated inside my apartment then God provided me with things to do so I'm not alone and don't feel the desires that I struggle with as much. Like if you ask God for help he will help you and be like hey do you want help with these struggles? Ok I'm going to provide you with avenues that you can choose over putting yourself in those situations. It's ultimately up to you if you want to choose to take advantage of those avenues because you can easily choose to say no but that's on you. However, if you decide like hey you know, these avenues these things, these activities can really help me suppress those desires that I struggle with. So that's definitely something I suggest fill your schedule with things that you are passionate about, want to do, and are spiritually ultimately healthy for you so that you can avoid putting yourself into those situations where you find that you truly struggle with those temptations the most. I hope that someone who sees this comment needs it and really is impacted by it because for me I still struggle but like if you have enough faith to ask God to help you then he will. Maybe not right away but he will help.

This concept is so wrong in so many ways and is just a hard coping mechanism for past mistakes.A person can change and be forgiven by God but it doesnt undo what you did in the first place. Everyone is a virgin only once.People are now using this as a failsafe when they want to setlle down after they slept with numerous people in their youth and its honestly just setting up marriages for failure.

If these sexually undisciplined women learned to put their future husband first then maybe they would have a good chance in setting up a good innocent and healthy marriage. I needed to hear this... I'm technically a virgin but I've done sexual stuff. but sometimes, I feel like I'm the only person who has fallen for sexual sin after I became saved. I've been saved for 2 years but every single time I have done something sexual with a guy, it always ended in heartbreak and I always find myself running back to god while everything on this earth feels like it is broken. thank you soooo much for bringing up the point where you had sex after you became a Christian. I feel like people often think that once you become a Christian, you will be free of sinful behaviors such as sex or anything. but that is as far from the truth as it could possibly get. Since I became Christain, I feel like we should be living examples of Christ. But temptation is extremely real, it's so important to tell other people about your sins so first of all if they are not Christain, they realize that they don't need to match up with the stereotype that Christians are judgemental because we literally have been through similar experiences. Second of all, if we don't share our sins with other Christians, we would not hear about how other people are struggling with the same exact sins, or what they did to overcome it. I'm on a journey every single day to be a better Christian and I slip up.

Explain to me what a born again virgin is ?
I’m sorry to not water down the truth here, but there is no such thing as a “born again virgin.” Stop coping. Stop being delusional. And accept responsibility for your past mistakes. You don’t have to let them define you. Just own up to them and stop pretending that they don’t exist. People that gave up their virginity before marriage are now practicing abstinence until marriage (or celibacy until death). Not to mention, a “born again virgin” IS NOT BIBLICAL. Find me just ONE verse in the Bible that supports this comical idea of a “born again virgin”. Also, it’s okay that you can’t call yourself a virgin. As Christians, we don’t define ourselves by our virginity. Jesus defines us. Praise Jesus for his Truth and Word.

About the negative comments, I believe that if someone is genuine about wanting to guide you out of a specific sin, they should be doing more prayer than anything.. A lot of us are quick to call someone out on something we believe is wrong but will never mention that person when praying.. How sad 💔

I have always felt that I may have lost the love of my life to this "Born Again Virgin" belief. I'll try to keep this short. When I was 16 years old and just entering the 11th grade, I had a real pretty friend who was a year ahead of me in school being a Senior. I considered her a friend because we had shared several years of Art Class together. About a month into the school year, she came to me and basically asked me out. I accepted and for the next two weekends we just rode around in our cars and really talked and connected. This goes on for three months and I'm trying my best to sleep with her. Finally, on New Year's Day we make love. From this point on for the next 8 months we are inseparable. She really starts going to church a lot and dragging me with her. Then, out of the blue, she came over to my house one Sunday after evening church, I did not attend on this day. We walked outside to her little car, and she started to cry and tell me that she had got "saved" at church and we would need to go our separate ways! Well, I was at a loss of words. She stopped seeing me, calling me, I mean nothing! A month later after she graduated High School, she started to attend a Faith-Based Community College. Another full year goes by, and I hear nothing from her. Because of her breakup from me my Senior year sort of sucked, I missed her so much. Anyway, at this point, she attends my High School graduation. (Special note: Her younger sister was in my graduating class as well). After this graduation, she came up to me and compliments how nice I look in a suit. I told her she looked fabulous in her dress. Like I say, she really was a beautiful girl at 5 feet tall and 105 pounds! We proceed outdoors and I ask her would she share this special evening with me just talking? She said yes. As we rode around, I let slip how I had missed her. She replied the same. We came to a red light, and I leaned over and kissed her very passionately. We could just both feel the love we shared hundreds of times before. Later that evening we ended up on a lake side camping area making love for the very last time. The next morning, she called me and said she had made a mistake, and this was the reason she could not see me anymore. She felt our love and attraction was too strong. She never once spoke to me about marriage! After she was saved, she totally changed. I turned 21 years old, and she 22. At this point in life, I had joined the U.S. Air Force and was moving on with my life. My Mother sent me a local newspaper from my old hometown and printed in it was an announcement of her marriage to man, I slightly knew, that attended her family church. I tell these things to express how odd love can be. You see, this love my girlfriend and I shared began way back in 1977. Today, I am 61 years old. All of this time, I think of her every day and all the wonderful moments we shared. I have not spoken to her since our last time together. The man she married passed away at age 50. She remarried to another man in her church. She went on to have 3 children with her first husband. Deep down I still have a very strong love for her. But I do understand that the memories I have of her were beautiful moments of very passionate love making. But to her, I feel she now views those moments as very sinful because we were not married. The girl I see today is a totally different person than the girl I fell in love with many years ago. I just feel that she too, wanted to be a Born-again virgin and that version of her could not exist with me in the picture. At the very least, thank you Lisa, for all the memories!
I am really struggling with this. I am so early in my journey with Christ and even though I recently felt convicted to give my life to him, I am struggling with how to transform my values and everyday practices to reflect my love and belief of him. I still feel so much guilt and confusion around my sinful habits, as I want to change but it’s so hard to make all the changes we feel convicted to make over night. There's actually an interesting thing about nasty comments. So it takes about 8 seconds for all the parts of our brain to get involved in a choice. So when people leave hate comments , that usually happens in a state where their whole brain isnt involved. The parts where we feel empathy and understanding is one of the slower parts and will kick in after 7-8 seconds. People are so fast at leaving bad comment online that many of them haven't thought it through, and many can't even remember what they said .

I always knew I wanted to improve my faith in the future, but I kept putting it off, and ignoring my sins. One of the main things was sex. From the beginning of me starting university, I began being promiscuous and did not care about waiting for marriage. I only know now that from doing those things that I was harming myself. I was trying to fill a whole within myself, but now I realise that only God can fill that whole, and I know that what he says is best for us. I did have a boyfriend, but the relationship was shallow, I felt that it was mostly about sex. Now I know that avoiding doing anything sexual with people I date will allow me to find happiness and a will create a stronger bond with my future husband.

Sex is actually the act of marrying someone in truth. It is a blood covenant made when virginity is lost, as God created it to be. That is the moment the two become one flesh. It is also the moment we say "yes" in front of God. Adultery is when we only look and lust after another, joining our flesh is so much deeper than that. There will always be a soul tie with everyone we had sex with. We have to repent and pray for all soul ties to be broken before we get married because if we don't we will still have a spiritual wife/husband and we will be sinning against her/him.
what i do like about your testemony is that you share your failure after you wer born again and it didn´t stop God working on your life. That´s a real christian life. Though we still sin, we are lifted up by Him. There is no perfection, but there is hope and restoration during the jorney.

I was saved before my husband was before we got married. We were not equally yolked, however I did fall back on my faith and sinned sexually, but we both realized that if we both wanted a strong marriage with the foundation of Jesus being the center of our married we just stopped, we went almost a year before we said I do. We committed to being strong and that proofed how strong we were and how we were putting god first.
I believe temptation comes from the devil and definitely not from god, if I’ve felt guilt I have heard the lord talk to me that what I was doing is wrong, is this bad feeling in my heart, so I repent and I learned not to continue repeating those same sins. Thank you for this video.

Regarding the idea that all sins are the same is heretical. For example, if I steal a piece of candy from a grocery store I can return it before eating it or I can go back and pay what I would’ve owed for it and make it right. On the other hand, if I were to sleep with my best friend’s wife or murder someone those things are more serious as I’m not able to take back what I’ve done. I can’t erase the sexual episode I had with my best friend’s wife nor can I bring back the person I murdered. Now, I can still change my heart and seek repentance even in those cases but the severity of the sins in comparison are clearly different.

Prayer and fasting elevates your frequency. Love is at a high vibration. When you get the taste for high vibes like love, peace, joy, you loose the taste for lower vibrations. Fruits are high vibing nutrient dense foods that dont lower your vibration. Modern processed / animal sourced foods can lower it at times. So an 80% fruit diet is good for that.
