The Magic of the Past... lives forever. ♾️💟 ... Jethro Tull at their finest...💎✨
Ian Anderson... Musician, Poet, Genius, Legend... Jethro Tull LIVE... Amazing!🤘🎼🎶🎤🎸✌️ 1:56 p.m. 5-30-22
There is only one Tull. Heavy Horses along with with Song from the Wood, are gems, while not as revered as Aqualung or Thick as a Brick, are in my mind just as important to own as part of your catalogue. His concerts are like watching poetry unfold before your eyes. He has never disappointed me live or on record.
That is an absolutely accurate statement!!!!!🙏❤️🙏
Songs, heavy, and storm are top Tull imo
@@theviridiansons oh yes. I feel like the Folk Trilogy is the pinnacle of Tull - it's what they were always meant to be.
I love they keep uploading high quality live videos of old Tull. It shows what I missed when I'm born too late 🤭
Sensacional, Jethro Tull sempre único
Still the same feeling listening song like 35 years ago
I always get emotional listening to this song. The first verse conjures such a vivid picture of a life now long gone but kept alive by those who cannot let these noble beasts fade away.
Fantastic song 💚💚💚💚💚
Thank you for remastering the évent👍
Ian fantastic
Si si si si si
This is the first Jethro Tull album I heard. I was just a kid too. Been a fan ever since
What a fantastic performance of one of the greatest songs of Tull❤❤❤ I would never get tired of listening to the song, or watching this performance.Ian and all the band members are perfect harmony. Thank you so much for the upload🙏😇🐱
I guess this was performed 8 days after I was born. The great wheel of time has swung around to me now hearing this, for the first time. Glad to be alive.
Had this album (Heavy Horses) on 8-Track and I played it non-stop in 82
What a great artist!!!! Saw him many times in New Orleans,LA!!! What great times!! Wish I could get in a time capsule and return to my beautiful Hippie Days!!!
Them NOT “him”
@@ericaward702 Well, I know what you mean. In the States many people think JT is Ian's name. But the commentor here also has seen Ian when they saw JT. 😉
Best band ever.
Ian anderson .jethro tull .forever young.💯🌳👉👈from mizoram lndia.
Tull the showman. It was a time for sure. 👌
If you ever get the opportunity watch 20 years of Jethro Tull it's brilliant and the late Anne Nightingale is in it.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🏴🏴🏴😁☮️😊🏴⭐👍🏴🏴🏴
This is so incredible this is so unbelievable the masters at work
Awesome. Such talent, energy and insight too😊✌️👍
Saw him at the boston music hall around 92. Fantastic
♡Heavy Horses♡
☆ J.T.☆
With love from Ukraine
💙💛✌
♥️
Seeing J T in concert at MSG here in NYC in 1985 was an experience........ A true trip of an Experience ! (GOOD TIMES)
Saw them in '85 -'86 in Tampa and early '80 are RFK in DC.
Always awesome.
@@feellucky271 Of ALL the concerts I've been to over & through the years , I've gotta' say that J.T. was absolutely 1 of the Top 3 All-Time !
@@jaydemo5792 Yeah man.
Steve Miller was good but of "new" bands that surprised me what 25 years ago was TOOL.Holy smokes man.Got higher than I've ever been sonically at any show, seen them 3 times and same thing all 3 times.
Foo Fighters were great too.Dave Grohl did stuff w a guitar that would blow Jimi or Jimmy away by his talent, playing w his feet ,just absolutely getting things outta it that was crazy good but gotta say that I learned Dave was a 1st rate prick and his stance o covid angered me too.Masks required for shows and backing the vaccinations beside the fact he's gotten mediocre. Hated we lost Taylor Hawkins tho.I been down that drug road too.Still on the oxys after being burned in 93.
Probably more than you needed to hear but good on you man.
Peace
@@feellucky271 Yo , my Brother , Never too much for my ears , always remember that....I know we've got a whole lot in common just with the few words in your post...I always liked Dave as a musician and a rocker , didn't know that he was a douchebag like that..... I absolutely believe every word you've said .... The only thing that I would disagree strongly with is you picking Dave's skillset with the guitar over Jimmy Page.....J.P. is , to me , the absolute Best to ever Pick up a guitar....(just my opinion)
@@jaydemo5792 Thanks man.truly.I agree completely, his youth and energy w that natural ability was great but against ZOSO ?? NO NO !
Jimmy's legacy and overall ability will still shine long after Kurt's 2nd choice as drummer fades.Dale Crover was a great fit and great drummer, sad he picked drugs over fame, beat Kurt to the punch drug wise.
No sir
Dave never had that Jimmy Page style and swagger or that magical playing in his wizard get up,whether it be at MSG like with my man Jay,or the Empire Pool at Wembley,Earl's Court,Ronnie Scott's at Gerrard Street way back when or Knebworth even.I envy you that you got to see them.Of the bands I din't see that probably irks me the most.
Thanks for the kinds word and not being judgemental, I'm getting old and that fog sets in.
Peace brother
Really great poetry, guys! It's a pity that the record is shorter than official version
Fantastico
Y tan fantástico!!!
Magic and Crazy
Well known worldwide friend.
Most people prefer mediocrity than a band like Ian has always had.1st rate musicians and his song writing of course.
Viva Tull
👍👍🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👍👍
1:40 the smoothest way to get rid of a tambourine
I’ve always paired Ian Anderson with Gordon Lightfoot as far as painting a vivid picture with their lyrics. Two totally different ways of getting at the same feeling. Both troubadours for the ages having set new standards.
Jethrotull. Their s. Nobody. Like. Them. Their. My. All time. Favorite. Rock. Group
Saw this during the US part of the tour in 82, but the stage was a viking ship and there were more theatrics to it.
💙
why wasn't this concert video available as part of the Broadsword box set?
the ideal guest: Robby Steinhardt (Kansas) on violins
madman😁

Takk fyrir öll lögin sem þú hefur tekið um öll þessi ár kær kveðja til þín kjartan Eyþórsson
not a favorite album of theirs. I had everything up to that point.
I think it's a better album than Warchild. More good songs. No lullaby is great. The rest are ok to very good.
Warchild had a few stinkers, I think.
I have every Tull up to A- the first bad album, to my mind.
