Awesome! The Bluesmobile always be one of the iconic movie cars of all time. I love it! Happy 40th Anniversary, The Blues Brothers. What about The Ambulance?
This movie uses the "cops can't drive for sh*t" montage so much, it's a miracle that CinemaSins hasn't thought about sinning it yet, regardless of how awesome it is.
I used to watch this a lot as a kid, being one of the few VHSes my grandparents had. I always thought Ray Charles was played by Bill Cosby. Like I though Cosby and Charles were the same person. Can't forget Carrie Fisher as the disgruntled ex wife who blows up an entire hotel and drives a shot-up Pontiac! Also, John Candy as their parole officer was awesome. I miss that guy.
i live near Chicago my parents went there once nice city to visit wouldn't live there. i would love to have my own blues mobile it is a shame not enough people have seen it
02:35 Richard j daley wouldnt let them film in the city.. until he was voted out and thus how they were able to crash thru the building! They filmed that scene in 1 hour.. replaced the broken glass and cleaned up within 2 hours!!
Richard J. Daley died in 1976, Mr. Fabulous even mentions this. John Landis said the City council had a bug up their ass about filming in the city thanks to a controversial "M Squad" episode. Apparently, making friends with the mob was the only way to get the key to the city.
When the nazi ca r elk from the sky they said that they hooked thst car to a helicopter and they dropped it form the height u saw in the movie if u don’t believe me look it up
