These videos have the absolute best Sunday morning chill vibes. Love grabbing a coffee throwing on a casual city builder or farming sim and just relaxing to some obscure Amiga or DOS gaming goodness. Keep up the good work my dude.
Thank you! I don't intend on stopping any time soon. :) Though I do share my attention between four platforms at the moment: C64/Amiga/DOS/Early Windows; so the videos come out a bit erratically. Meaning, you can never tell, what's next. xD
55:12 Played this as one of my very first amiga games back in 1990. I was 11 and I will never forget the bizarre music, and the gameplay was just super weird. Couldnt figure out back then what was going on...

Oh, definitely do that! It had incredible games, and some of the multiplatform ones were best on Amiga. I have a video on how to easy emulate it, if you'd like to try it out outside of retroarch first.
@@TerpeneProfile1 If you... Well... Look for a "Tosec" collection that's probably around 3000 commercial games and another that in shareware/PD titles.
I remember very few of these. Interplay is the only one so far that I definitely had. Some of these seem to have better graphics that I remember the Amiga being capable of.
@@OldAndNewVideoGames I meant to say Interphase. I watched the whole video now. I thought I knew a lot about Amiga games (had an A500 from 1987 - 1992), but I at best only played 3 or 4 of these. Thanks for making these videos
because of lazy programmers..games like lionheart and battle squadron showed you what it could do with proper programmers involved....most amiga games were st ports...

This is a great compilation of mini reviews! :) The Manbat's landlord song is not at 9000 cringe, but at 100000. Boss rush games: not exactly implemented in the main game, but there were NES games that had boss rushes where you fought all the bosses you fought previously, but back to back. Nightmare on Elm Street did that, I think.
Yeah, that one. There were at least two others, but my memory is foggy. A TMNT game might have reused bosses like that. They might have appeared on a platform elevator going upwards. And I think there was also one where you played as a shrunken character. I remember obe of tge forat stages being a huge house interior with the stair railing.
The amiga had some great games, and I always remember there being some great PD games, anyone have any idea what the name of a old skool top down RPG was, you had very static old fashion 8 bit overworld kinda maps, little man stick man for your character, and you had the little pictures of enemies in the corner, very dungeon crawler, bard tales/heimdall style but more, think final fantasy one colour menu's, simplistic form/menu presentation, command driven command, it was very simple and basic yet so good. A really good deep old fashioned RPG, cannot remember the name of it for love nor money but I remember having a great time paying it loads.

I do it in Polish too, it's ADHD, my mind keeps racing, and so does my mouth. They often run at the same pace but sometimes one goes ahead the other, and then weird things happen. xD
I can understand that. I have ADHD, too. ADHD messes with limb-eye coordination so it may be why we both don't like sports so much. We also seem to share a love for cats, puns, video game history and naughty humor ;)
@@AntipaladinPedigri Well, you can't disregard it as coincidence. It would've have to be lab tested, preferably via open brain surgery or over beers. Whichever's easier to pull off. xD
Suggestion: Break these long videos up into shorter videos. Also, make "good obscure ****** games" videos and "bad obscure ****** games"; that way, if someone is looking for good games worth checking out, then they have a whole video of options to look through. Otherwise if they just want to see $#!t for some reason, then they have a whole videos full of that too; no need to watch a nearly 3hr video to sort gems out of a heap of poo. Also, maybe not the same noise every time you begin a part of a new game.
These longer videos are released after the whole season of smaller ones is completed. So this second season you've watched is actually also split in 10 individual parts as they were coming out on my channel. :) I thought about splitting good and bad, and did even some little social study, with some videos having more of one or the other. And it turns out, these with more bad games, did much worse, so I don't think I'll do this one, I'm afraid. xD

Amiga was full of surprises. Given the right devs and time (so no rushing), it could produce excellent for the time visuals. :)
