Hazbin Hotel certainly invokes a conversation when it comes to the fanbase. I started out not too pressed for it. In this video, I wanted to show how this show managed to irk me but I learned to give it the respect it deserves. It certainly is a series that has some misunderstandings about and I wanted to quell some of that. #hazbinhotel #charliemorningstar #hazbinhotelvideo

The hate for Hazbin is about as silly as the hate for the final series of GoT
Your take on Vaggie was so damn refreshing compared to how everyone else sees her. I'm glad there's some people who can see into her Character a bit instead of just ignoring her or calling her bland and not important.
It really makes no sense to hate her since she’s given proper development just not in a traditional way.
To be honest she is much more lowkey energy wise than the rest and usually a character like that gets labeled bland so I suspected certain people would not like her much. I really felt rewarded though watching and going ' she gives me vibes like she has been in the military' hahah ..Then later on that vibe is confirmed in an unsuspected way. She is also a bit of a parent/ straight man character which a lot of casts do need but that character is not anyone's favorite usually. Responsibility is not as fun as chaotic energy. I think she is my favorite character though after Angel and Alastor.
I honestly have more of an issue with Charlie because she falls into the savior goody goody trope that a lot of main female characters in huge casts fall into. My prime example of this trope is Tohru from Fruits Basket....Everyone else is more interesting and the main character saves everybody from their baggage. I do think though that what super helps Charlie is that her naivity and earnestness is not just painted as charming but she fucks up with it a lot too. Like trying to talk to Valentino... So I don't dislike Charlie either.
Okay last comment but I also know when people are doing pairings they like to pair up the character they see themselves as ( which for a lot of female fans is going to be Charlie ) with their fave character. So Vaggie has that against her ...Plus stable supportive relationships are not as exciting for fanfic writers , but I do find it refreshing how Charlie and Vaggie's relationship actually works. That is one thing Vivzie is great with is just having couples that actually love each other without letting drama get in the way . Vaggie and Charlie are the Moxie and Millie of Hazbin and I am all for it. Super refreshing.
@@Mannof1000ThoughtsVaggie doesn’t have enough screen time, Vaggie arc in episode 3 is rushed, the story and character development is so rushed it’ll make the flash piss himself, the show tells the story too damn fast, but Vaggie has to be the worst written character in the show and pretty much everyone can see it
I hate how there became a short order of episodes in the news shows recently. Those executives and CEO's are obsessed with competing against Netflix so much and I feel they have blocked out everyone from telling them what are they doing wrong.
For your comment with Vaggie’s motivation/wanting to protect Charlie, I interpreted part of that being that Vaggie feeling indebted to Charlie for essentially being responsible for thousands of her people being killed. Charlie was the first person to show her compassion after she was abandoned in Hell, and Charlie is arguably the one who cares most about stoping the yearly genocide. And while I’m positive Vaggie and Charlie love each other, I think there is a guilt Vaggie has that makes her put Charlie and her dream above all else. I kind of want the next season to dive deeper into that relationship.
It could be a good arch to be sure.
But personally I'd rather them pick up a different relationship structure apart from "these two save the world" I'd be interested in seeing angel break free of Valentino or the development of that bond between him an husk. The jaded pair finding a way out.
Anything thing other than the same romance focused subplots
I'd also be open to seeing more growth in vaggie as an individual watching her becoming less subservient to Charlie's dream, putting her foot down when Charlie's optimism gets them in to too much trouble.
LGBT or not I'm just tired of the major subplots being romantic.
Charlie gave her something to believe in. Here's this creature that's driven to the point of obsession to protect and uplift others, everything Heaven said was good (when it wasn't secretly murdering people in bulk). Vaggie needed a genuinely good person, and she had to go to Hell to find one. And frankly, someone carrying around as much guilt as Vaggie does is going to be pretty strongly drawn to a person like Charlie, who believes that even monsters can be redeemed and deserve the opportunity.
@@sirhcsnomde2002 Well your point about Vaggie being more independent from Charlie is exactly what I want to see, if I’m being honest. As of now Vaggie is shown to always act in the best interest of Charlie and is essentially an extension to her. Heck, every song focusing on Vaggie is about Charlie and trying not to let her down. I’d want to see an episode where Vaggie really reflects on what she wants and learns to be independent of Charlie (while still being able to maintain their relationship). Also totally understand you not wanting a ton of romantic subplot bc I’m also not super drawn to that, I just like Vaggie and want her to be explored more outside of her being with Charlie :)
Forgot to mention Alastor. Originally didn't like him cuz he was the tumblr sexy man archetype but he grew on me once I looked past that bias.
I know a lot of people are turned off from the series due to how voodoo/voudou was handled with his character too
(I just wanted to add this in nuanced addition to the conversation being had :> Thank you so much for sharing this video is a nice way to decompress after long trip!!)
I felt similarly, at first I thought he was too much of a Mary Sue where he kind of always wins/gets his way. I appreciate that there were episodes showing that he is flawed (too cocky, somewhat attention seeking), and that he’s not supposed to be perceived as a good or even redeemable person.
Tumblr Sexy Man???
I just thought he talked cool, was spooky and had quite a wit to him.
ngl at times i feel like the incidental bias against tumblr sexymen can be an unconscious way of hating on (usually queer) teens for trying to explore their sexuality. however cringe it is the characters admittedly usually have an appeal for a reason. for example i think bill cipher falls under the archetype but like regardless of any subset of people that find him attractive i still find he's a compelling character that's fun to watch. same deal with alastor.
@@mirulei My real problem with the tumblr sexy man archetype was cuz the Onceler lol. He was the main start of that archetype and I hated the Lorax for what they did to him.
in case you didn't know, Viv actually initially pitched Hazbin's story as a 22 episode season
but A24 only picked it up for 8, so the story had to be reduced A LOT
but the season was originally way more episodic and had a lot of downtime
Oh that is some SERIOUS bull *bleep*, we could have gotten 22 episodes?!
Oh, that's a shame! I'd love to see all of those 22 episodes!
That actually pisses me off because we could’ve gotten so much more time and we could’ve seen so much more of the charscters and the world!
Shame.
That has got to be some of the biggest bullsh*t I’ve heard for a while. Especially since a recent interview (couldn’t remember the name of which one) Viv stated Amazon and A24 were the ones to give her only 8 episodes to work with. And they didn’t even know if they even gonna get a Season 2 initially
These short seasons are driving me crazy, as an anime fan i thought 12 episode seasons were short
To be fair Carmilla and velvettes verses in respectless do summarize who they are pretty well
And Velvette was sort of introduced in episode 2
I think this series' ace in the hole is the fact it's daring to break the mold in many ways. Not necessarily in being subversive, but moreso just taking components that at first glance seem familiar and weaving them into such unique directions.
Let's have a show taking place in *Hell* be centered around a hopeful, optimistic message.
Let's have a cast treat each other like a dysfunctional sitcom family only for their negative traits to lead to some of them bonding.
Let's have a complicated but ultimately wholesome gay couple in a world of nastiness.
Let's frame a threat of genocide under the staging and stylings of a Broadway musical.
Not gonna pretend these are all done MASTERFULLY, I very much agree with the consensus it could've used more episodes, but in general the show just feels plain REFRESHING, and it helps that it feels like the vision of a passionate team that knew how they wanted to go about this story. Its success gives me hope in the future of animation.
I really hope Season 2 is able to have more downtime for the cast especially with how we’ll probably get more characters coming to the hotel. But Besides the incredible songs, the show has a lot of heart and charm to it.
With how little episodes were ordered for season 1 I believe things will get more fleshed out with the more time they have to build the story and characters
Baxter and Crymini is joining in season 2 !
@@matcha_zuki5597o shit fr?
yeah i think more episodes would be very benefitial for the show
I honestly found Charlie and Vaggie's relationship to be really refreshing. So much of romance in media is the "will they won't they" trope, and while I can't say I hate this trope (I live for the drama), it's nice seeing a couple that's already together, and not needing to be the "parents of main character X". Even when they do liar revealed, the conflict isn't "you're not the person I thought you were, and I don't know if I like you anymore." Charlie was upset more that Vaggie hid it from her, and not that it happened in the first place. They didn't draw it out either, as it was wrapped up by the end of the episode, and they were stronger than ever.
I feel like there should have been more tension though. A bit more sadness to Charlie. Vaggie literally murdered thousands of her people.
They did good for eight episodes, maybe as it goes on there will be more redemption arcs. heck I kind of hope the Adam theory Comes true
I do agree with you with how the show is structured with it story, because I think Hazbin Hotel would have been better if it started out as episodic so you can get to see the characters dynamics and development in more detail, getting a chance to know the setting and lore of show, and then as time goes on, it starts to get into the main story, for example with shows like Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, and Amphibia.
I don’t blame Viziepop and her crew because yeah, nowadays especially with streaming platforms, shows are only giving about 6-10 episodes, and I know it works for some shows, but most of the time it really doesn’t work and half the time it doesn’t feel like we’re watching a show but rather movies cut in parts or mini series.
And I really hate that 6-10 episodes is now the norm for a show to have because these companies want to give these creators limited resources.
And then not to mention with these shows being cancelled left and right for little to no reason by the companies as well, I can’t blame creators for a need to get the plot lines as so as possible and as much as they can because they fear that their shows will be cancelled at a certain point.
I kinda of wish I was born a decade earlier(the 90s); so that I could experience the 25~ range episode count. One of the reasons why Avatar(original) did so well was because the authors had space to build the characters and the world.
I think the pacing didn't actually bother me that much because I fully viewed it as if it was a stage musical (as you mentioned) - and those move fast with very little downtime. The songs cover plot points and emotional beats that without them could be stretched into entire episodes, which is beneficial when you have a very limited run time to tell the story. As episodes are so short, I think it works better when binged in one siting, rather than episodically.
I’m so proud of Viv and her crew for all they’ve given us with the first season, and I can’t wait to see more. Ya’ll should shut any disrespect down and give this show nothing but praise.
Thank you for being on the Vaggie Support Squad. There’s been too many people writing her off as “boring” or “unimportant” without taking the time to really think about her character.
To me, Vaggie seems like Pearl from Steven Universe. She feels like she owes Charlie her life and if she’s not useful to her, she has no purpose. Her arc might be about becoming her own person away from the angels and away from Charlie (but still being able to love and support her)
for contex; the team making the show didn't know if they were getting a second season or not till MID PRODUCTION. and they only had eight 20-minute long episodes to work while they didn't know if they were gonna be able to continue the story or not after s1
Which is sort of similar to what happened to Moral Orel to my knowledge so yeah it makes sense everything was sort of rushed here
They announced Season 2 in the early trailer, please explain that.
@@artistanthony1007 when
@@artistanthony1007They probably released the trailer after they finished production, or at least close to finished.
They should've been given at least 13 episodes and a guaranteed second season so they could've saved the going to heaven and angel invasion for season 2. I really hope that since it's been successful they'll be given the greenlight for more episodes and more than just a second season so they don't have to fear getting canceled and end up rushing the plot again.
I'm honestly surprised that the CEOs, executives, or whatever didn't seem to have much faith in it. It has all the makings for a successful cartoon imo
I like how honest you were dude, and I'm glad you were able to approach this a lot more open and level-headed on what you liked and disliked just given how divisive the show's reception is as you mentioned.
The limited amont of episodes really is the biggest weaknes of this show. While I'm not crazy about the series, I do enjoy it and I'm invested in the story. It's just that many plot beats felt rushed, and certain Characters/relationships weren't developed as much as they should have been.
Wait how did I never know Charlie and Vaggie were a couple until now awwww that is honestly cute /positive
didnt watched the show?
@@mariachiara2616 Nooope lol only saw the pilot years ago, I have mixed feelings with the series but have my appreciations of it too
@@OrbyStormy420 Watching it will likely unmix your feelings.
@@PredatorH2O A lot of my mixed feelings come from the creator and what is happening behind the scenes -- the show itself genuinely seems sort of interesting to me :3 ✨ I may end up giving it a watch at some point. Also there's this clip I've seen I think within Helluva Boss with the clown that signs with his deaf fan I think of that moment all the time tbh
@@OrbyStormy420 I can't say I share your concern. I've heard nothing to convince me there's anything wrong right now with the creator or bts. I haven't watched Helluva Boss.
And here I thought I placed myself into a pro-Hazbin Hotel bubble, lol. Fair is fair, but I like it so... I still like it
I understand that the season was rushed and that we had a lot of information dumped on us in the first couple of episodes but Velvet and Carmine were introduced before the respectless number. We see Alastor mention 3 Vs and it shows Vox, Velvet, and Val. Velvet was the fashion diva we saw talking to Vox in the Radio vs TV episode. Carmine was referenced as the top weapons dealer when Sir Pentious was getting that delivery of boxes.
The number respectless also serves as a proper reintroduction/intro for both of them. In the meeting, it is for overlords so we know that Carmine must be powerful enough to be one as well. We also see that she is one of the older overlords as she is close to Zestial. Meanwhile, Velvet is the opposite referred to as a Young and newish overlord who has influence through social media. We learn that Velvet does the PR and social media networking for the other Vs (Vox and Val) and is here in the place for both of them. We also learned that Carmine is an overlord mom who is the weapon dealer for the various turf wars that occur in Hell.
So, while I understand being confused about Carmine as she was only mentioned once before the meeting, I don't get how you missed out on Velvet when she was introduced in episode 2. But the song Respectless also provides a great recap of these characters in the lyrics.
Carmine is also briefly mentioned in S1 E5 of Helluva Boss as the person who made Strikers gun.
"Oh my crumbs. A genuine, Carmine crafted, blessing tipped rifle."
I'm kindly disposed toward musicals. Muppet fan going way back and all that. Musical numbers let you roll up a great big ball of characterization and plot advancement and drop it on the audience without it being a problem. They say to show rather than telling, but singing bridges the gap nicely by allowing for a lot of information to be delivered in a way that feels not natural but still right. The musical aspect also adds a comfortable layer of unreality, like what you get by going with animation in the first place (or indeed, getting puppets involved) that encourages us to take off our disbelief suspenders and fully cast aside the question of realism so that we can enjoy the show.
It'd be nice if the characters and plot had some freaking room to breathe, but convincing corporate execs to pay to give a story some elbow room is probably harder than teaching snails to tap-dance.
I'm glad you sat on it and it grew in you!
It's a nice show, and honestly the songs did surprise me some of them are very very solid!
Saying it grew in me is crazy lol. But thank you. It’s a good show that doesn’t deserve the scrutiny.
ive been following vivzie since she was on tumblr just creating fanart for other shows and when angel dust was still an OC she drew just for fun (even before the pilot). watching her grow and become as huge as she is now honestly makes me respect her work even more even though musicals/her shows arent really my thing. She's a great idol for any animator that wants to make it big without having to travel to California to do the whole west coast animation industry thing.
This is the best review of the show that I've seen, the people in charge need to see this type of criticism and hopefully use it to give season 2 the time and episode count that it needs.
Check out Monkey Wrench, it’s set in space and follows two outlaws Bulldog and I forgot the other one. It’s pretty funny but rn they are going through a money issue
I did not expect to love the show as much as I did. Really hyped for season 2
Haha the recognizable voice thing happened to me, but not with Keith David voicing Husk, instead with Stephanie Beatriz voicing Vaggie
They could have made it so that each season focused on only one plot point and character arc. So, with each season being 8 episodes, it could work. And there would be more season as well as better story telling because it won't be rushed.
Considering it had years of consistent and loyal fandom, I’d have thought 12 episodes at least would be a safe bet.
I remember when the pilot first came out wowie
“how i learned to stop worrying and love hazbin hotel”
Greats video as always.
As someone who watch the pilot and Hellva Boss while I don’t enjoy Vizipop written style as enjoyable and have my gripes with season two of Hellva Boss (haven’t watch Hazbian Hotel yet) I find her so inspirational for getting her show off the ground from an indie pilot all while working on a spin off show is so inspirational. I hope in the future she and the other crew are able to get the time they need in order to flesh out their story. Since 8 episode for any show is just way to short.
Nah its just Twitter being Twitter
I like Angel Dust, too. 💜 From the pilot Alastor was my clear favorite, but Angel is now aggressively competing with him.
Also, amazing ad read! xD It's always fun when they're woven into a video's subject matter.
people shit on it cause they don't like vivzie and a lot of them haven't even given it a chance
hearing you talk about husk made me so happy!! hes been ... somewhat overlooked by the fans since the pilot (at least i think so) and now that hes actually out and about with a personality and everything im so happy people like him bc ive loved that man since day 1 ToT
Loved your review! I really liked how Hazbin Hotel had so much going on but I can also see how it rushes some plot points. It's nice you were so generous about Angel's story! I get why some people would not like it but at the same time some reviews are just SO mean-spirited about him that it makes me feel kind of gross... I've seen so many reviews that are so defensive and nitpicky about his abuse plot that it starts to feel like these people just don't want to aknowledge abuse/survivor stories at all if they aren't perfectly sanitized.
I think Angel was one of the strongest parts of Hazbin. I'd criticise how it's kind of a stereotypical portrayal of sex work where SWers always get pimped and abused. Still at the same time It was genuinely moving when Angel wanted to protect Charlie from Valentino.
I couldn’t like it at first either. What finally got me into it was I decided to quit taking any of it seriously and watch it the same way I’d watch an old slap stick cartoon. The animations, humor, and music are all good as long as the themes don’t get you bummed out.
Yes, this has been something that's on my mind for a while. Initially I was like most people until I remembered "Oh wait, this is Amazon Prime. Of course they would give it 8 episodes a season". And then I realized how many people in the fandom did not realize that at all. All this time, they're shitting on Vivziepop to extreme levels, yet they're not shitting on the real culprit... streaming.
(sees thumbnail and title:) couldn't agree more. huge fan of Viv's work, and i hope all the unjustified criticism won't squash her down. (not saying there should be NO criticism, but no unjustified criticism that is just a personal attack against her)
Some indie shows suggestions:
Murder drones and our spellbinding lies(full thing is still being worked on)
Something something Verbalase.
the 4th V
Aside from the grifters trying to start the next satanic panic, and Trolls, I think the problem with the series is the pacing but that's amazons fault for that. Hopefully season 2 that won't be an issue.
What I'm more surprised at is that folks weren't critical towards Charlie after Vaggie's secret got revealed. Not saying they should oh far from that, I'm just surprised.
Honestly I liked your review, I do agree with the point of people not having a clue about Hell but at the same time. Hazbin Hotel isn't about hell entirely, it's about one ring and it's the pride rings. The ring in which sinners are stuck, demons like Helluva Boss characters they play in different rings and have their own thing going on. The I.M.P crew are born in hell and sinners are people who died and ended up in hell. I thought Hazbin Hotel did a pretty good job at showing this but my issue was rather with cannibal town, like are they hellborns or why are there children? because from what I remember, sinners can't have children. So that's my main issue with the world building.
Great video! Commenting for the algorithm!
Good looking out
Ngl the rushed plot damages the show but tha characters and banger songs save it for me, it’s so weird that this show has stuck around in my mind for so long
A criticism I had towards Legend of Korra was, given the uncertainty of how many (or few) episodes season 1 was supposed to get and the uncertainty of whether or not any more seasons would be ordered, that the show dwelled too long on aspects it didn't have time to expand on (mainly the love triangle and pro-bending) while not actually exploring important aspects to the plot and worldbuilding (namely showing non-benders frequently being oppressed in day to day life rather than under Tarlok and the gangs specifically (only those two being violent towards non-benders doesn't adequately convey the supposedly systemic issue of discrimination towards non-benders), and not touching on how profoundly being raised in an isolated compound could've contributed to Korra's attitudes beyond the comedic "fish out of water" scenes in the first couple episodes).
Hazbin Hotel arguably does what I claim LoK should have done. It crams all the seemingly most important parts into its eight episode run. But again, while it doesn't daudle the way LoK did, it still misses out more worldbuilding and character moments that could've made each important moment feel more relevant and impactful.
The balance is difficult, and both shows were screwed over by executive decisions not allowing for the pacing that would make the most seense for each story.
I hate what the animation industry has become, as well as how the indie playfields online is so toxic and unwelcoming... It sadly gives me more reasons to quite then to move forward
And makes something i dearly love
I for one think Hazbin Hotel is Great
Fair points and opinions, i appreciate this Video,
i think the Show did pretty well with what it had, I hope that Season 2 makes up for it.
Also, to be fair, you do meet Velvette in Episode 2, but i guess that’s not enough.

6:00 I started out taking issue with Vaggie because I didn't feel like she believed in the Hotel any more than the next person and because at the beginning I didn't cared for her couple with Charlie as I started to enjoy in episodes 5 and ahead... I was took off by how it felt she was only there for Charlie and deep down thought they were doomed to fail. I was predicting a clash between her and Charlie and prepared from the get-go to take Charlie's side. Only by, episode 5 where I stopped expecting this particular conflict given that Lucifer took up that role and then Vaggie being an exterminator explaining her attitude being towards angels, not sinners
Yeah that creator getting the rights back is something that needs to happen everytime. Funny enough the creator of Ed Edd and Eddy apparently refused any station that wouldn't give him that and now he still owns the concept.
Hazbin hotel is great deal with it haters
The issue is the main cast outnumbers the episodes. Too many characters to establish in too short a time. If they focused on Charlie, Vaggie and Angel Dust it would have been much better. They shouldn't have had the acceleration of the extermination reveal until like the end of the season. However I understand with a single season order of 8eps it would have been too much of a risk.
So many of the problems with Hazbin Hotel would be solved if there were more than 8 episodes.
Honestly with all the hate and controversy, I was expecting the show to be mid or even flat out bad. After finally getting around to seeing it, Hazbin really surprised me. I agree that the show needs more episodes, but for what we got, season 1 was pretty solid all things considered.
Lackadaisy. Amazing digital circus. Murder drones.
I LOVE LACKADAISY!!! But what was the point of this comment?
I think its best you watch the pilot first before you watch the series.
Is anything in the pilot actually important enough to understanding the story of the official show?
@@blacktack7918Sort of. The pilot introduces the characters , how they meet, and a lot about the world of the story. Most importantly the series starts about a week after the pilot, so it gives some important setup.

There is a whole genre of vulgar adult animated comedy: South Park, Family Guy, etc. To be honest, I got bored with it long ago. I could only watch a couple episodes of Rick & Morty, which is generally considered the pinnacle of the genre.
Who could have imagined that all the genre needed was some Disney princess energy and a musical format?
Yes, I get that it has flaws, but I really don't care. I'm enjoying it, and I keep rewatching it.
Did I mention that I normally hate musicals?

Nuh uh
plainly no it didn't. Its a decent show carried by the fact that it's made by a yt animator and has offensive language. I'll say it wasn't a hpye worthy show, but a fun show none the less.
the show is mostly carried by its music(show wouldnt be half as liked without the music), animation and unique artstyle.
I’ll also note, someone else on UA-cam pointed out how Vizie basically can only do character drama if it’s daddy or ex/relationship issues. Once you look at helluva you realize just how much that is the only thing she can do.
I mean, there's the Husk and Angel drama
That's just wrong, characters have both mommy and daddy issues. Millie mainly having mommy issues, the exes part? I mean there was only two characters that were an ex. UA-camrs just saying nonsense again as per usual.
After listening to the race grifter know as arteicetb and her dumb and embarrassing takes on the show I’m just glad that there’s a reviewer. They can actually see the good and bad of Hazbin hotel and can see that it is a really good show.
Well Done 👍
She fair on the show her wording not the best. I think it great she calls toxic positivity in fandoms/community.

I don’t know why it’s blocking the videos. At least op is deleting the comments. Was trying to say there was harsh videos. but I think have better wording.

@@snkchdrft I myself am not a fan all she does is talk about racial coding will literally call anyone a Stan just for defending vivziepop and defends Stella who is an abuser
@@Bryce946 I heard of about racism coding in hh by others. I think it’s okay all sides each take with grain salt more. Than Pointing fingers. Stella things i can see both characters being broken and mess up.
Idk why are you even on my recommendation and it's anyone's opinion but I don't ever think it deserves my respect in anyway shape or form So I'll just be "Rizzpectless"
Yes the animation is good and the songs are banger but it has so many flaws like does it really even
Anyways you do you and for the community ig
Really the only thing I hated was how episode 4 did the very sensitive thing, personally it was done horribly wrong and they should have not showed the.. well you know sa
That was kinda the whole point
There was a warning and nothing too explicit was shown for too long. Only a small bit of violence and a few flashes in the music video.
Why are people so much a bunch of pansies about mature topics being in a mature show, especially when it's done so heartbreakingly-beautiful as episode 4…
weak
This show is ass
Everyone loves ass
If the show is ass then it's Rubi Rose's ass
Some people like it yes but my thoughts the same as yours

@@tbeast151 who tf? F no I'm talking about the model/rapper.
No it didnt, they changed the premise, Edgerunners & Over The Garden Wall did better with little episodes, it is barely adult, writing such as for adult stuff is not done good, we have characters like Carmine who we dont care about or have reason to, they dont acknowledge Angel's past as a mobster & is a reason he's in Hell in the first place, voice acting is genuinely lifeless & impossible to enjoy, all this stuff is why it isn't deserving of earning the hype.
Also I'm sorry if you tell people to praise a show and it earned everything to be praised, you've lost people's attention like mine.
Cool, well-thought vid, dude. Especially liked the notes about how creators need to have their shows back if corporations dont pull the trigger on them.
Two Indie shows we should *also* keep an eye on. Both a phenomenal.
