New Vauxhall Corsa AND Corsa Electric Review
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 тра 2024
- The Vauxhall Corsa is the bestselling non-SUV or crossover in the UK, as well as Vauxhall's bestselling model. The arrival of an updated version of the Corsa is, therefore, a big deal, both for its maker and for car-buyers who are seeking out a small car that hopefully also represents good value.
For its latest update, the Corsa adopts Vauxhall's Vizor grille treatment, as well as a revised trim lineup, improvements to the interior design and infotainment, and the arrival of a new long range version of the Corsa Electric.
In this CarGurus UK review, Chris Knapman tests the 1.2-litre petrol Corsa, as well as the new Corsa Electric Long Range, and weighs up whether the updates are likely to help the Corsa maintain its position at the top of the supermini sales chart.

I mean... come on...
£38k for a Corsa is just bonkers...!! 🤣
No one will pay the price on the website, you must know that… No one will pay more than £30k for a Corsa EV - there’s a lot online for sale under £25k
I like the pre-facelift design better! And don't be too negative about it because you are so lucky to have many small cars options in your country!
My daughter collected a new GS Turbo in September. Interior seems the same (except she has red striped seats) so the only difference is the front grill and rear name badge. Hers was on 0% finance from Vauxhall, presumably to shift stock before the exterior updates. Lovely little car and ideal for her. Fuel efficient, light steering and easy to park. Not a cheap car though at £23k but almost as big as my brand new 1994 Astra was nearly 30 years ago!
It’s a corse how big do you expect the back seat to me
Lovely car
Not as fun as a fiesta yet it was the best seller for its class. Not making the fiesta anymore though are they?
How are manufacturers managing to make cars bigger externally but with less cabin space?
top spec long range is £1500 below a tesla 3, what's £1500 a month extra on a 3 years pcp deal
Maybe the tesla is less monthly due to the residue valves of each car?
The look down for speed change is not good, but the looks are a great improvement. The badge colour is "marketing psychology" - meet the Stellantis Corsa! So why isn't the Group AI called Stella? 🤔
Should have tried "hey Opel", it'd been hilarious if that one worked.
Great car. Love it.
Many finer methods of transport.
With black badges now on cars, some VW models are the same , one tends to wonder if they're ashamed of the brand.
So a second hand Corsa electric is really cheap........What will it be worth as a 3rd hand car.....not a lot. So a used EV doesn't seem to be a good place to spend your money, and new one's are too expensive. The numbers really don't work out for these EVs.........
An Avis special.
I think I am the only person in the country who thinks that this is much uglier than teh previous gen, and that the old one actualyl looks really good. Bit dull inside for sure but a clean and classy face on it.
of corsa I'm not going to get one
IMPORTANT QUESTION:THE CATASTROPHIC PURETECH ENGINE, HAS BEING CHANGED? if the answer is no then WE ALL BETER BE AS FAR AWAY TO BUY THIS AS POSSIBLE
Agree wouldn't go there even if not a bad looking car.
In my experience, it's a great engine. No probs there after 70 000 miles
@@Silver-st2zqmy engine is fine but the electric problems with my Corsa f is so bad it is now hilarious. Plugged a code scanner in my Corsa and I have over 15 faults for a year and a half old car. Ridiculous
@@thomaswalker1258 Shocking, apart from a Ford once only buy Toyota.
@@michaelflinn7784 After 2019 it has a better belt in it but how many more miles before problems?
Looks terrible
I'll take Peugeot 208
No the peugot looks terrible....
That grill looks like something you get in a kinder egg. Looks terrible.
Buy an EV and help save the planet? You are deluded.
Your insurance has gone up because electric cars have a habit of self combusting. Insurance companies have realised that they catch fire a bit more often than you’d think also if you have an accident in one it’s none too easy to find garages who want to repair these eyewateringly expensive toys. I've heard that if an electric car is involved in a collision, even a minor one, it has to be stored 15 metres in any direction from any other vehicle or building whilst waiting to be repaired. Ferry companies are allegedly very wary about carrying damaged EVs. I’ve always been of the opinion people who buy EV cars are the same people who expect Tesco to have strawberries in December.
Never read so much crap in my life. Do some proper research.

@@JamesSmith-qs4hx Very constructive. Not interested in debating with someone who isn’t interested in listening to actual facts.
@@lucasroper46 Good - You are very boring.🤨🤨🤨
@@lucasroper46 The good news for EV drivers is that with all the new charging points at least the government and World Economic Forum can monitor and control all your car movements and with a Tesla they film and record you constantly
Les écrans, ça craint 👎👎👎👎
It’s Vauxhall in name only. It’s PSA so it’s basically French crap
PSA isn't a thing anymore. All owned by Stellantis which is based in the Netherlands.
