@BeaverBaII lol nothing you just said makes any sense or is based in reality. I make more a year than anyone at Neebs gaming. I can also cook. Yall are boys not men
I am so extremely happy that all the guys know about Stephen Chow and his great and wonderful movies. Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer, and many more. ALWAYS a great watch.
@AngryDad. Glad you asked. It'd probably be based on mythical beast. Some of the tools are replaced with martial arts move an minigames. Maybe a resource could be spots where chi gathers an it refills your bars. There could be traces of civilization from before. There could be bosses an npc enemies an towns similar to Conan exiles an a game called Dark and Light and Atlas. You could build bases an tame creatures except they're to provide resources you need to become better or whatever. Like dragon horn to make a powder for something. If it's not a standalone game, then it can all be explained in ark logic as an Ark A.I. corruption in data banks reformed an Ark based on mythology from that culture. An the lack of information was so affected it even had to enhance the survivors to physically meet the challenges, iron hand fists to gather thatch hand to hand combat to boosts survivor ability due to issues with different things that lore can explain. Similar to no flier maps, there could be an explanation made. Martial arts moves can be engrams that are put in the body, an can give ability similar to things they replace. Like sword replaced with a chop, or armor replaced with body hardening engrams. Trade off could be having to get chi or potions to boost the body an that could be part of getting an breeding different tames. I don't know but the idea of dreaming it up was exciting, thanks for asking the question. Hopefully a modder will make that map or someone make a similar game.
The upgrades & way you interact with the environment in this game really sold me on it. Already a big fan of survivor-likes/bullet heaven games and this adds unique takes to the genre that are 100% on point for also being a satire of kung-fu movies.
Look, I'ma be real I was so excited when they started singing Kung Fu Hustle's praises. I love that movie so much, cherry on top was them being lukewarm on Kung Pow, cause I did not dig that movie.
Aww c'mon Kung Pow was the best thing ever! I IMPLORE YOU TO RECONSIDER! Ok, maybe not. It spoke to my 16 year old soul though. Just watched it again recently at 37. It'll always be one of my favorite dumb movies.
Ended up picking up this game. It's great. Every hear of "The Last Hero of Nostalgaia"? Is on steam Might be right up your alley. Thank you all for all the laughs.
Rumble in the Bronx wasn't his early days, they were his earlier days for american movies being his first american one but he was long into making movies in china before rumble.
Rumble wasn't an American movie, it was just set in America. The whole movie was dubbed for the English release. (Though most actors just spoke in their native tongue, not Cantonese, but you can even see English being dubbed in English.)
I particularly enjoyed "Legend of Drunken Master" & "Snake In Eagle's Shadow", but he had so many good ones. For my money, Jackie's Chinese career is vastly superior to his American stuff. Nothing wrong with his American flicks, decent movies, but his old-school stuff is GREAT! 👍🏼😃👍🏼
@@jackflash8218 With a couple of outliers, I'd have to agree. Police Story was fantastic. Surprisingly, one of his best movies, in my opinion, is one of his most recent, The Foreigner. Simon here shits on Jackie Chan's acting ability, that movie shows what he's capable of. Surprise surprise, when your only job is to make people laugh, you don't put much effort into anything else
Holy crap this looks so good. I can't imagine any guy around my age not being super in to this game. I don't have a computer so hopefully they have a lot of success and bring it to console.
Well I know what I'm going to buy love games like this with the old school arcade feels takes me back thanks guys also blood sport is one of my favourite films still holds up along with big trouble in little china all the Bruce lee films rush hour films 🥋
I love when you guys talk about all the places to eat around Wilmington, I'll never be able to go there (an ex of mine lives there so I'm never going- they're a great tattoo artist though, if you need something inked I would recommend them, just don't say I sent you) but it shows you're not playing characters, you're just a bunch of buddies playing games and hanging out
Yeah, fuck that person (not literally). Don't avoid an entire area of the country because of one asshole. I didn't get a chance to spend much time in Wilmington, but I did enjoy it while i was there. Seems like a great city.
30:00 Here is *really* good, Neebs! even if it's one room, you should go and see it. the house changes enough as it goes through decades that while it's the same room, it's different enough to keep you engaged. it's also just a simple but beautiful movie.
I didn’t think I’d like a Vampire Survivors clone, since I like the original so much, but this seems fun. As for martial arts movies, it depends. For campy, silly martial arts movies, I like Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle. For serious martial arts movies, easily the best is Ip Man. But there are so many good ones.
Iv nearly cleared all the maps on V.S and I hope you guys would have another look at it. Just remember no matter who you pick max out Garlic and the Bible….. everything else is good but those two keep you alive
I was in BMT with a wicken guy. Great guy, total nerd, we got along really well. Didn't stop me or anyone else for giving him endless shit about it, though
As an actual Wiccan, I can assure you that any person who randomly "curses" you and calls themself a Wiccan is the same person who wears Hot Topic once and then calls themself a "goth" lol. Wiccans absolutely do not believe in curses.
Since the 60s Jackie has been hot, he was Bruce Lee's stunt coordinator, he got hit with the nunchucks in enter the dragon by Bruce Lee, they had his name in the Chinese movies as jackie cheng, Jackie Chung, Jackie Chen, etc, sometimes was hard to find his old stuff because of that, the best movie from him must have been Jackie chan vs the wooden men, or the drunken master the first one, unless you count the first one he did in the states called the big brawl
Enter the Dragon & Kung Fu Hustle. And I'm pretty sure they're making a Kung Fu Hustle #2. And yes groups like the Satanic Church & the F.F.R.F. are great & deserve more credit. Movies that for the lost part, take place in a single location, 'The Hateful Eight'
Do you ever think about what our past selves would think about us now? Like, a grown man watching other grown men play a game for an hour and bullshit about martial arts movies and noodles. Amazing how much fun you guys are to watch and listen to. BTW, you ain't talking about real marital arts movies without Sidekicks. Joe Piscopo's second finest on screen performance. Anyway, great watch as usual!
The only thing I got out of this vid was you saying Indochine filed bankruptcy. It must just be the express locations because the main is the busiest joint in town.
Y’all remember when someone paid neebsgaming $5000 to play a video game sequel based off a movie, I think they do a complete playthrough for this channel
Not even 5 seconds into the video and you hear a beer crack open, it's gone be a good one
Yes! Watch a video, and crack a drink open to join your mates for a drink and chat. Cheers!
@DonsleyKongyou sound upset 😂
@DonsleyKongguess I wpuld be too if I were too poor for tacos 😂
@DonsleyKong I already know. It's not a little boy that can't afford to provide for himself and complains that real men can
@BeaverBaII lol nothing you just said makes any sense or is based in reality. I make more a year than anyone at Neebs gaming. I can also cook.

of course they do X-D
Stephen Chow is amazing and there MIGHT be a 2nd Kung Fu Hustle in the works
Ark but in a karate world.... Someone make that game, so I can give you my money!!!!
How would that even work? 😂
@AngryDad. Glad you asked. It'd probably be based on mythical beast. Some of the tools are replaced with martial arts move an minigames. @@AngryDad. Kick the shit out of a Giga
“In that situation pummel horse might be right” 😂😂😂
Definitely need another episode of Appsro kicking more ass!
Yea Dora, Blood sport is legendary, that or enter the dragon with Bruce Lee is in my top martial arts movies.
Speaking of Die Hard, Christmas is coming!
Best Christmas movie ever!
Take a shot every time Dora says "timing."
I almost feel like Neebs was trying to describe Hero with Jet Li.
All of the interactions with the environment definitely make this more interesting to watch than vampire survivor for me.
The upgrades & way you interact with the environment in this game really sold me on it. Already a big fan of survivor-likes/bullet heaven games and this adds unique takes to the genre that are 100% on point for also being a satire of kung-fu movies.
... Does 'Big Trouble in Little China' count...?
💙💚💜💛💖
An all time great!
That was the one kung fu VHS that we had growing up, so it will always be a classic to me.
I love Vampire Survivors! (Thanks to you guys doing a video on it i had to buy it) And i love old school kung fu movies!
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist was another great comedy martial arts movie!
Chicken go "cluck cluck", cow go "Moo". Piggy go "oink oink" how 'bout you? Going to be an animal just like you!
They should make a Minimum Wage Survivor game.
No, video games are about ESCAPING reality lol
It'd be more for people who haven't had a crap job to experience.
OLLLLD SCHOOL pre H'n'J reference... MINIMUM WAAAAAGGEEEE!!!
Retail Survivor. It would be a hit.
I love jackie chan movies. Skiptrace, rush hour, Shanghai knights, break out the dvd player it's time for old man nostalgia😂
I always appreciate y'all's hard work and your content just wanted to say Thank You!
Does no one see that this game is Jackie Chan in Rumble in the Bronx?? 😆
Kinda been headcannon since they played it on stream 😂
Iron fist pillage is by far the best Kung fu movie ever made.
this gives me huge Jackie Chan vibes, and I love it
Look, I'ma be real I was so excited when they started singing Kung Fu Hustle's praises. I love that movie so much, cherry on top was them being lukewarm on Kung Pow, cause I did not dig that movie.

I bought the game after seeing just 5 minutes of your video and im having a blast
same, just reached rooftops and went back to wipe the grocery store boss
40:50 I shouted, "Oh shyt, there's a 'Master-blaster'. Then I heard one of the boys say it. Freakin' love these guys!
👍🏼😁
Ended up picking up this game. It's great.
Every hear of "The Last Hero of Nostalgaia"? Is on steam
Might be right up your alley. Thank you all for all the laughs.
Legend of the drunken master and drunken master 2 are funny 😂
This whole conversation makes me think of Kung Pow! Enter the fist. Wee oo wee ooo wee oooo
I'm for sure going to watch the Vampire stuff again.
Rumble in the Bronx wasn't his early days, they were his earlier days for american movies being his first american one but he was long into making movies in china before rumble.
Agreed..I mean the dude "fought" Bruce lee
Rumble wasn't an American movie, it was just set in America. The whole movie was dubbed for the English release. (Though most actors just spoke in their native tongue, not Cantonese, but you can even see English being dubbed in English.)
@@YokRzeznicit was filmed in Canada. Toronto I believe, because it simulates New York with the cost and people.

Kung fu hustle is still one of my favorites. The story isn’t bad and overall great. Top 5 for me.
Definitely more of this. 💪💪
100%
thank you for showing me this game. its awesome. Loved Vampire Survivors
Kung Fu Hustle is live action anime done right.
Jackie Chan Vampire Survivor?
Yeah, I need it!
I wouldn't mind more of karate survivor with the banter, lol
"You only have 1:15 so just try to stay safe"
"I'm gonna try crowdsurfing!"
Idk how this video is gonna do but every time y’all do these survivor vids I watch them like 3 times
Kung Pow is definitely my favorite martial arts movie. Lol I have watched that so many times it's ridiculous.
I really hope we'll be getting more Karate Survivor content
The Penguin starts a couple of weeks or so immediately after the end of The Batman.
1:10:08 Neebs it’s like the movie Joker where there is no Batman but there’s the joker coming out
Holy crap this looks so good. I can't imagine any guy around my age not being super in to this game. I don't have a computer so hopefully they have a lot of success and bring it to console.
JeeZ, Appsro's environmental awareness skills are as good a his self preservation skills.
Learn what a path of least resistance is!
Almost like being back in the 80's/90's but with more colour and sharper edges.
The Penguin takes place after what The Riddler did in The Batman movie.
It was called magic, now it’s called science.
I like how apssro just refuses to put anything into health regen lol. He keeps loosing health but doesn't want to do anything to help it 😂.
I just finished the 6th season of cobra kai came straight to this
Love how they made the character design as close to Jackie as they possibly could without getting sued. 👍🏼😆
Rumble In The Bronx was fk'n awesome!
Legally distinct Zachie Shan.
@NarwahlGaming Chackie Jan.
👍🏼😂👍🏼

Cool Scrapman cameo! He's such a nice guy.
We need noodles, kicks guys, noodles drop, walk in other direction for 10 minutes.
Dora: "It's gonna hurt, but you're still comin."
42:46 - the ultimate karate survivor upgrade... GUN.
Reminds me of Pete Holmes' Batman when he used a gun for the first time.
_"This is so much easier!"_
😂
The whole video is all about movies concentrating on martial arts. Like a podcast.
My favourite martial arts movies are the ip man series

This is Jackie Chan survivor
I want to see more. Thanks, guys.
welp... now i know what I'm playing this holiday. I love some of your dumpster videos for little games like this. I had a blast with Hades II
I’d love too see more vampire survivor… and more runner!
Phone Booth and Panic Room are both solid movies
30:00 Here is *really* good, Neebs! even if it's one room, you should go and see it. the house changes enough as it goes through decades that while it's the same room, it's different enough to keep you engaged. it's also just a simple but beautiful movie.
Looks painfully obvious to me, but walk under the balloon arch and follow the flags. Green hair guys are probably the barrier for a race course
Their whole penguin conversation hurt me. Because none of them knew it was a followup to the Batman movie
Pummel Pete Simulator 2024.
You guys will love Shaolin Soccer! Watch it!!
Kung Fu Hustle is an awesome movie!

Please play again! Loved this game.
Aaaah, c'mon. I wanna see Appsro try out some new moves now.
That was great . . .

The best martial arts movies, IMO:
Ong Bak 2
The IP Man Trilogy
Bought, played and loved.
Quickplays is what I call them.❤️
The guy in the suit is the store owner who got tired of you beating up his staff.
Really hoping to see some more of this. Maybe even some multiplayer if its available
A great Vampire Survivor style game is Death Must Die.
I strongly recommend Appsro.
Fun game, great video, and now I want noodles.
this gives me a mix of double dragon and scott pilgrim vibes. i must purchase it.
