I heard a small pop that was Gruffs mind blow with envy. It's all way more amazing than I think we all imagined but as a joiner, fir me those sliding doors are another level.
Did not know if you tried it or not but I have a three bay sink with a rinse tray on both ends . It is just under ten feet long . Use a heat gun makes it a one hundred times easier but it does get a little hot on your fingers but you can handle it. What a great setup. Thanks
Hi Richard, as always I like your general updates. I notice with your nucs and hives they are all very near ground level and hardly raised whereas in the UK it seems almost law to have then a couple of feet off the ground, any particular pros and cons either way? Cheers
If you were heading into long dearth like southern usa in June.. wouldn't it make sense to pull your last supper off with the old bees and haul it to a new yard for broodless split vs leaving it on holding on to those older bees for months.. feeding that old field force for what.. wouldn't the mite treatment be more effective just shedding those bees right away. If you new nothing was coming till fall
@@williamjohn-r8y hi John, probably 600 hives and another person but I built this for my needs only. Not interested in creating huge turnover, huge expenses, employment laws are very difficult to navigate and the cost is exorbitant. Just me, running 300 hives, extraction much more efficient and bottling and storage done under proper conditions. It’s a misconception that you build a big building, therefore you fill it with staff and a higher turnover operation. Low running costs are the bonus.

Get some of those "Harry Potter" picture frames with a movie that plays on it. They are well cool and not expensive.
Try heating the film with a hair dryer or heat gun. Not to hot
