Love it, Adam! Bait was super cool and fun to watch you make 'em. Best part was your open prayer on the pond. Have a blessed week and we'll see you next time.
Awesome video but an even more awesome build! That swirl looks amazing! like a galaxy bait!! Congrats on the massive catch too!!! The Joker seems to have put on a heck of a show this day!!! Awesome stuff!! Oh, and looking very dapper in that sun shirt!! 😎
That top color with a violet highlight bottom (no middle color) would be fire! Side note; back in the day when I worked in autobody we painted a 67 camero very similar to that top color. It took best paint at Hot August Nights back in 2008.
Killer colorshift for sure! I was so perturbed that my other camera wouldn’t show it right… white balance was all off! Ah well, pretty sweet result regardless!
Adam, great video from start to finish. Bait work was finely done (no perfect lines in nature) and a nice fish as payoff. Like the way you started off the video, true to who you are and what you value. God bless
Great baits. You were truly tested both with patience and physically. When you use big bass baits, you must put yourself in to musky fishing mode. It takes a lot of cast, and it is physical. There are very rarely multiple numbers for either. You are truly blessed. My friend.
Yes indeed, very true! Goals are great but if we hit every one every time, maybe the goals are too easy! Failure, even in part, can be a good thing!! 👍👍
Did you have any issues throwing it on that Mach Crush? When I did the weigh ins, I was clocking the bait at just over 2 oz with a 12/0 Owner Flashy Swimmer Underspin
I was a bit worried about it, but man it performed awesome. It was a Heavy action rated to 1.5oz, and yeah, the whole rig was right around 2oz, but I didn't see any issues. I even threw the size 8 blade rig on my Custom Black MH and it ran great as well (a lot less "pull" due to the reduced blade size, so that helped).
Awesome that's good to know! My fishing partner has the same rod, and we were worried about throwing it on his setup. Good to know it can handle it well! Looke like we will both have it tied on this weekend. I think the stinger hook is key, I had a TON of strikes last week but no hookup. I'm going to try your little air hose technique to keep the stinger in place. Cheers Brother and god bless!!!@@SDGCustomLurecraft
When I shoot laminates that have one liquid pigment and one powder I shoot the liquid pigment color about 5-7 degrees cooler than the powder because I want the viscosity of both colors as close to the same as possible. I get better results that way, unless I have a hook slot I'm dealing with. 🤣 Fantastic fish too.
Yeah I was hoping the powder base in the chartreuse would be enough to level the viscosity playing field… but alas, twas not, still needed a temp differential. Luckily I loved both versions, so win win! Thanks Rick!!
I liked the swirl until I saw the straight pattern. Woof! A thing of beauty. I think the chicken put in a good word for you...crow (BAM!) donkey in the net.
Its a KastKing net, rated up to 44# or so. I like it, although, I would have purchased the clear net as I think it deals with the trebles better. Its not as bad as other's I've used, but the clear rubber would have been optimal.
1) I laughed so hard when you said, “I don’t discriminate against dinks” when during the Vietnam War the term “dinks” was a discriminatory term used against Vietnamese. 2) Wouldn’t a bolt and wing nut setup be so much nicer on Epic Molds instead of using 13 clamps to hold them together like other mold makers do? 😂
No kidding? Had no idea, I’ve only heard dink as fishing lingo! And yeah, my clamps were overkill, LOL, but the last thing I wanted was a mechanical error on my part, ruining a triple! Epic down wingnuts on open pours, but I actually prefer without. Back when I owned molds from other complained I always removed the hardware - clamps were more effective (for me) and WAAAAAYYY faster/more efficient. But - each to their own!
Not sure I’ll make any more dozer blades but I will shoot more mag WWs and include them in a Swimbait box set in the future. Can’t say when, exactly, but it’s on the docket. Thanks for the interest!

Thanks Eric, it was a good day all around! Came up short but that just means a rematch :) Thanks for coming along!

Thanks man! That sun shirt was AWESOME! It was hard to choose between the two versions of the bait - shocker I loved em both! LOL

Thanks Art - I was glad it all came together, if even just for one nice fish! Glad you enjoyed it!
Fish or no fish, God deserves all the glory! Really enjoyed watching your excitement with that 5 lb-er. Looking forward to the next adventure.
Amen man! SoliDeoGloria however it goes! Just being out there in God's creation makes for a great day no matter what!
Great vid big guy. RIP to you shoulders chuckin that bait and toting Bob around.
The Crush handled the bait very well, surprisingly well actually - wasn’t bad at all. BOB… on the other hand… he was a tubby one that day… ooff…
Great video, great build and an awesome catch! That was a tank! Good job! Thanks for sharing my friend!
Thanks David, appreciate that man!!
Always satisfying catching fish with self made lures. Great coloring!
Amen! Few things more satisfying for a baitmaker! Thank ya much!!

Great video!! I love the looks of them almost like Northern lights effect!! ❤
Thanks Amy! Somehow your comment got lost... go figure. Glad I found it, thx again!
I love the randomness of the lines. Nature rarely has straight lines. That’s was a monster bait but it looked great.
Yes sir, I was always partial to the swirl effect - cool stuff!
Great build and fishing Adam.
Thanks Guy!!

@@baitchuckin awesome, hope you guys load the boat!

The triple injector is such a love/hate relationship lol. Nice catch though 👌
It is indeed!! Lots of work and plenty of stress, but man it looks nice once its done, even in a swirl!
Great video goodlookin baits that was a big goal but you got over half way there great catch .
Thanks man! Yup, 1/2 way there - I really thought I'd find another but it wasn't in the card this time. That just means I still have a goal to attain!
Sweet build to catch video
Appreciate that Garrett, thank ya much!
I liked the swirl until I saw the straight pattern. Woof! A thing of beauty.
I think the chicken put in a good word for you...crow (BAM!) donkey in the net.
LOL, indeed! He did me a solid 🐔🤜🤛🐔
Awesome video Adam. Appreciate the prayer and praise to the lord ✝️🙏
SoliDeoGloria - fish or no fish! Thanks John!

Thanks Robert!!
Awesome catch with a nice bait!
Thanks Michael! Much appreciated!
Very nice, very goofy as always but very nice!!😂🤙
Can’t help myself… LOL! Thanks man!
Nice fish!!!
Appreciate it Michael!! ✊
That would have been a nice 2 fish limit but a 5lb and 8oz on a new bait not to shabby 👍
@@samuelschult985 thanks Samuel! That was a fun build and catch! Always something special when you can land a nice one on a big ‘ol bait!
What was the make of that net? Looks awesome and I kayak fish as well.

Nice colors and a nice bass.goal was a little high
It was indeed… but it’s good for ya! Still a great day!
Nice build. Have you ever poured a 1/8 oz poison Tail Swim jig?
Thx Ed! Can’t say I’ve poured Swimjigs that small, no. Thx!!
💯 🙏🙏🙏 I do the exact same thing ...cept I ask to catch Just 1 🙏🙏🙏 great video brother 👊
Figured I was greedy enough with the goal, LOL! Thanks man!
Long lake in 9mile area is a very good place to catch large mouth bass 9.5lbs a single fish enjoy the tip
Sounds like an awesome place!
